Frequently Asked Questions - V33 Plus Rexing

How do I install the Rexing V33 Plus dash cam?
First, clean your windshield and attach the electrostatic sticker. Mount the front camera using the 3M adhesive mount behind the rear-view mirror. Insert a Micro SD card (Class 10, up to 512 GB) and connect the rear camera via the included cable. Route the power cable and plug into a 12V car outlet. The camera will auto-start recording.
How do I format the memory card?
Stop recording by pressing OK, then press MENU twice to enter Setup. Use UP/DOWN to select Format, press OK, then confirm. The card will be formatted. Remember to back up important data first.
How do I enable Wi-Fi and use the Rexing Connect app?
With the dash cam powered on and not recording, press and hold the UP button to enable Wi-Fi. The SSID and password will appear on screen. Connect your phone to that Wi-Fi network, then open the Rexing Connect app (available on App Store/Google Play). Tap Connect in the app to access live view and recordings.
What does the G-Sensor do?
The G-Sensor detects sudden impacts or movement. When triggered, it locks the current video file to prevent it from being overwritten by loop recording. You can adjust sensitivity (Low/Medium/High/Off) in video settings. For parking mode, set to High sensitivity.
How do I use the parking monitor feature?
Connect the dash cam to a smart hardwire kit (included) or intelligent hardwire kit (sold separately). Enable Parking Monitor in settings. There are two options: Vibration Detection (uses G-Sensor to record on impact) and Motion Detection (requires intelligent hardwire kit, starts recording when motion is detected). The hardwire kit protects your car battery from draining.
How do I play back recordings on the dash cam?
Hold the MENU button to enter Playback Mode. Use UP/DOWN to browse videos. Press OK to play. During playback, press DOWN to fast forward (2x/4x/8x) or UP to rewind. Press OK to stop. To delete a video, press MENU, select Delete, then choose Delete Current or Delete All.
How do I update the firmware?
Format the Micro SD card using the camera. Note your current firmware version from System Settings > Version. Download the correct firmware from rexingusa.com, unzip it, and copy the .bin file to the root of the card. Insert the card into the powered-off camera, then connect power. The update will start automatically. After update, format the card again to prevent re-updating.
What should I do if the dash cam freezes or acts erratically?
Press and hold the RESET button (pinhole) for 4 seconds to reset the device. If the issue persists, ensure you are using a Rexing-approved charger and a compatible high-speed memory card. Contact customer support at care@rexingusa.com if needed.
How do I lock a video to prevent it from being overwritten?
During recording, press and hold the OK button to lock the current clip. Locked videos are stored in the "CARDV\MOVIE\RO" folder and will not be deleted by loop recording. You can also lock videos later in Playback Mode using the Protect option.
What is the warranty and how do I extend it?
The Rexing V33 Plus comes with a 12-month limited warranty. Register your product within 30 days at rexingusa.com/productreg to extend it to 18 months. For support, email care@rexingusa.com or call (877) 740-8004.

If you do not use the parking mode function, please change the Gravity Sensing sensitivity to low. Otherwise, the video will easily be locked and the video cannot be deleted by the loop recording function. This will cause the memory card to be full of locked videos and cause the recorder to fail to work normally.

Please DO NOT ENABLE the Parking Monitor function in the settings of the dash cam WITHOUT connecting a smart hardwire kit. They may cause a malfunction.
