How do I pair my phone via Bluetooth?
Press the MODE button (15) repeatedly until Bluetooth is selected. On your phone, enable Bluetooth and search for devices. Select BM 1213 from the list. A confirmation tone will sound once paired.

Connect the included power cable to the AC INPUT socket (13) and plug into a mains outlet matching your voltage (see voltage selector). The battery charge status LEDs (10) indicate charging progress. It is advisable to keep the battery above 50% during storage.
Why is there no sound from the speaker?
Check that the speaker is powered on (35) and the MASTER VOLUME (28) is turned up. Ensure the correct input source is selected via the MP3/LINE selector (23). Verify that cables are securely connected and that the source device is playing audio.

CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

  • Read and follow strictly the instructions contained in this manual.
  • Keep this manual for future reference and include it if you give the product to another user.
  • This device works with dangerous 115-230V mains power. Do not open, do not disassemble and don't try to operate inside it. In case of wrong use an electric shock may occur.
  • The product is conceived for professional use. Its installation must be carried out exclusively by specialized technicians, skilled in electric and audio systems. In case of wrong installation or connections, the manufacturer doesn't take any responsibility for damages to people or objects.
    • Make sure that your power outlet voltage matches with the voltage selected on the product. A wrong voltage would seriously damage the fixture.

1. SD SOCKET

Insert here a card containing MP3 music tracks. It must be formatted in FAT32 format and not greater than 64GB.

If the appliance does not turn on, you can check that the protection fuse is intact. If necessary, replace it with one of the same amperage. Should it blow again, turn off the appliance and contact the authorized technical service.

Connect here the included power cable. The plug can be connected to a 110V or 220V power outlet (according to your local voltage).

Insert here a USB stick to play MP3 music tracks. The key must be in FAT32 format and not larger than 64GB.

Press this button to choose the desired mode among Bluetooth, FM radio, Line and USB.

16. BACK / VOL -

To skip to the previous track or lower the volume.

17. FORWARD/ VOL +

To skip to the following track or increase the volume.

You can see here the selected functions or info on the current tracks.

19. REC

Press it to record audio from wired or wireless microphones directly on a memory device.

20. PLAY/PAUSE

To stop or restart playing

21. MIC 2 LEVEL

It adjusts the volume of the second microphone connected to the socket (3).

22. EQUALIZER

A 5-band equalizer for perfect adjustment of audio tones.

23. MP3/LINE SELECTOR

To skip from the multimedia player to the signal connected to the input sockets (5).

24. MIC 1 LEVEL

It adjusts the volume of the first microphone connected to the XLR socket(4).

25. TALKOVER

If pressed it gives priority to the microphones reducing all the other volumes while speaking.

26. LINE/MP3 LEVEL

It adjusts the level of the signal connected to the socket (5) or of the multimedia module.

27. ECHO

It adjusts the level of echo on microphone signals.

28. MASTER VOLUME

It adjusts the master volume level.

29. CH B VOLUME

It adjusts the volume of the wireless microphone "B"

30. VHF LED

If on it indicates that the wireless microphones' module is turned on.

31. VHF ON/OFF

It turns on or off the the wireless microphones' receiver. If you are not using them we suggest to keep the module off..

32. DC 12V IN

12V external power supply terminals.

33. WIRELESS MICROPHONE "B" ANTENNA.

Before you connect the fixture to the mains check that the selected voltage is correct to avoid damaging it.

BATTERY RECHARGE

The speaker is equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery. Once you have turned on the speaker by means of the button (35) the leds (10) will show the current charge level. If necessary start recharging by connecting the power cable to the socket (13).

Warning: to save the battery, once you have finished using the speaker, we suggest that you put it away, always leaving the battery level at least at 50% and checking it from time to time. Never completely discharge the speaker. You will risk that the battery, once completely discharged, will no longer recharge.

WIRELESS MICROPHONES

Your new speaker includes 2 wireless microphones operating on VHF band. They can transmit your voice also at long distance. Unscrew the microphone's handle (41) and check that the batteries are charged. If necessary replace them (2 x "AA" 1.5V batteries for each

microphone). Press the button (40) to activate the microphone. The led (39) will shortly light up. The red steady led indicates empty battery.

REMOTE CONTROL

Thanks to the included remote control (36) it is possible to set the main functions from a distance. It operates within a range of 5m from the speaker. It is powered by a button cell battery (CR 2025). If it doesn't work correctly check that the battery charge and if necessary replace it. To use the remote control address it towards the speaker's infrared sensor (2)

FM RADIO

Thanks to the FM receiver you can listen to you favourite radio stations. To enter the radio mode press and hold for some seconds the button (15). By pressing the PLAY button (19) you start scanning and saving the radio stations. Use the forward (17) button to skip to the next saved station. Use the back (16) button to skip to the previously saved station.

BLUETOOTH

This device includes a sophisticated latest generation Bluetooth receiver that can connect to your computer, tablet or smartphone to amplify audio and play songs wirelessly.

When using it for the first time, it is necessary to pair the transmitting device with the speaker. In the future it will no longer be necessary to carry out this procedure.

Select the bluetooth mode by pressing the MODE key (15) if necessary.

Open the bluetooth menu on your transmitting device and search for the new fixture to pair (BM 1213. If correctly paired you will hear a sound on the speaker.

The volume of the bluetooth audio can be adjusted both from the rotating knob (26) and directly from the volume of the transmitting device.

OTHER FEATURES

On the upper side the speaker is endowed with a handle (37) for easy carriage, while on its bottom it features a standard mount hole (38) for installation on stands.

On the two sides (42) it features two practical microphone holders where to place the handheld mics when they are not used.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

The product is covered by warranty according to current national and European regulations.

  • The warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults occurred in the first 2 years from the date of purchase. In case of purchase with invoice, the warranty is limited to 1 year.
    • Damages caused by negligence or wrong use of the device are not covered by warranty.
    • The warranty is no longer effective if the item is modified or disassembled by not authorized people.
    • This warranty doesn't necessarily envisage the product's replacement.
  • External components, batteries, knobs, switches and any removable or subject to wear and tear parts are excluded from warranty.
  • Shipment for the return of faulty items is at expense and risk of the owner.
  • For all intents and porpuses the warranty is effective only upon exhibition of the invoice or of the purchase receipt.
