How do I pair my Monster Torch via Bluetooth?

Power on the speaker (blue LED flashes). Press and hold the Bluetooth button for ~3 seconds until you hear 'Bluetooth Pairing'. Select 'MONSTER TORCH' on your device. You'll hear 'Bluetooth Connected' and the LED turns solid blue.

How do I reset the speaker if it’s not responding?

Turn the speaker OFF and then ON using the Power button. If that doesn't work, unplug the DC adapter, wait a few seconds, and plug it back in.

Can I use the speaker while it’s charging?

Yes, you can use the speaker while charging. However, charging time will be longer (up to 11 hours when powered on). Do not use in wet conditions while charging.

How do I connect multiple speakers using EZ-Play?

First, pair a Bluetooth device to the primary speaker. Then, on that speaker, hold the EZ-Play button in TX mode for ~2 seconds (white LED flashes). On each additional speaker, set it to RX mode (amber LED) and hold EZ-Play to search. Repeat for up to 8 speakers.

How do I change the light mode?

Press the Light Mode button to cycle through: Off, Flicker, Pulse, Steady, and Gravity. In Steady mode, press the Timer/Light button to adjust brightness from 0% to 100%.

Is the Monster Torch waterproof?

It has an IPX5 rating, meaning it is splash-proof. Do not immerse in water. Do not charge in wet conditions; ensure the DC inlet cap is closed when not charging.

How do I set the timer?

Hold the Timer/Light button for ~3 seconds to cycle through timer durations: 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. The corresponding green LED will light up solid.

What should I do if the Bluetooth audio quality is poor?

Move your audio device closer to the speaker (within 30 ft). Remove any obstacles or sources of interference (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, microwaves) between them.

How do I use the built-in Zen music?

Hold the Zen Mode button for ~3 seconds to start playing nature sounds. Press the same button to cycle through: Waves, Nature, Ocean Serenade, Piano Ballad, Soft Piano. Hold again to exit.

How do I clean the Monster Torch?

Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use any liquids, abrasive cleaners, or solvents.

1 CONNECT the speaker to an external power source using the included DC power cable.

■ While CHARGING, the RED LED indicator will double blink quickly.

■ When FULLY charged, the RED LED indicator will stay on.

■ When LOW, the RED LED indicator will flash rapidly. (twice a second)

Full Charge – achieved in 4 hours while powered OFF. – achieved in 11 hours while powered ON.

1 Press the POWER button to turn the speaker ON.

The RED LED next to the power icon will turn on for 3 seconds.

■ Press and hold the POWER button, 5 seconds, to turn the speaker OFF.

Bluetooth Pairing

1 Place your smart device within 3 FEET of the speaker.

Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.

2 Bluetooth mode is automatically entered when speaker is powered on (BLUE LED Bluetooth & EZ-Play TX LED will quickly flash). The speaker will make audible confirmation.

3 HOLD Bluetooth button for \~3 seconds to Pair (BLUE LED Bluetooth & EZ-Play TX LED will quickly flash).

4 Select "MONSTER TORCH" on your smart device to pair with the speaker. Speaker will confirm connection with audible sound (BLUE LED turns solid).

-30 feet max connection range after pairing. Devices out of range may suffer disruption or loss of signal.

EZ-Play Pairing

1 BLUETOOTH PAIR smart device to TORCH speaker. (See Bluetooth Pairing)

2 HOLD the EZ-Play Pairing Button in TX (transmitting) mode for \~ 2 seconds to select speaker as audio transmitter. (TX White LED will begin to flash rapidly).

3 PAIR a RX (receiving) EZ-Play speaker by setting it to Bluetooth mode. (DO NOT pair Bluetooth)

TROUBLE SHOOTING

5) This apparatus can be used in wet location conditions after disconnected the AC Mains supply and closing the water proof cap for the AC inlet. It must not be used in wet location conditions when charging. Do not use this apparatus near water. This Monster-branded product, marketed as new, in the original carton to the original purchaser ("Product"), is warranted by Russell Distribution Company, LLC against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a limited warranty period of Ninety (90) Days for Labor and One (1) year for Parts. This Limited Warranty is conditioned upon proper use of Product by you, the Purchaser.

This Limited Warranty does not apply to store display products and product sold as a 'marked down' special, in as is condition, 'close outs', "liquidation and clearance sales", "open box", products missing accessories, or no fault found.

Proof of purchase in the form of a Bill of Sale, Receipt or Receipted Invoice is evidence the Product is within the limited warranty period. The Bill of Sale, Receipt or Receipted Invoice must be presented as a pre-condition to obtaining the limited warranty service.

This limited warranty begins on the original date of purchase and is valid only on Products purchased through authorized dealers and used in the United States, and Puerto Rico, by the original Purchaser. To receive warranty service, the Purchaser must first contact us for problem determination and service procedures. The original dated bill of sale, receipt or receipted invoice must be presented upon request as proof of purchase.

We will repair your product or if repairs cannot be made, we will replace it at no charge with the same or similar product. If the Product is defective as specified in this limited warranty during the limited warranty period, we may use new or remanufactured parts to repair the Product. All replaced parts and products become our property and must be returned to us. Replacement parts and products assume the remaining original limited warranty, or ninety (90) days, whichever is longer.

Product freight must be prepaid by you, the original Purchaser and shipped in either its original packaging or packaging affording an equal degree of protection. We will not be responsible for or obligated to replace damaged Products.

If the Product is received damaged, it is your responsibility as the consumer to file a claim against the carrier. We will only store the damaged Product for 30 days and reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to dispose of the damaged Product or ship it back to you at your expense after 30 days.

This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship encountered in normal, and except to the extent otherwise expressly provided for in this statement noncommercial use of this Product, and shall not apply to the
