What power supply does the Wave Cannon need?

How does the HAVOC switch work?

Hold down the HAVOC switch to generate feedback and unpredictable noises. For best results, the pedal must be first in your chain (or after true-bypass off pedals) so it can 'see' the guitar.

What does the RUMBLE switch do?

The RUMBLE switch increases bass frequencies, especially useful at lower gain settings. Flipping it may momentarily cut signal, which is normal.

What is the FOCUS control?

FOCUS adjusts midrange frequencies: it can scoop (cut), flatten (neutral), or boost the mids.

Can I use a different power supply?

Only use a 9V DC center negative adapter. Using other voltages or polarities may damage the pedal.

What are the sample settings from the manual?

The manual suggests three sample settings: 'Clean-ish boost' (Gain low, Tone noon, Focus flat, Volume high), 'Crunch rhythm' (Gain 2 o'clock, Tone 11, Focus boost, Volume unity), and 'Bold gain' (Gain max, Tone 3, Focus scoop, Volume past noon). Experiment to taste.

GAIN controls the amount of distortion. TONE makes things brighter or darker. FOCUS scoops, flattens, or boosts the midrange frequencies. VOLUME controls the overall output. RUMBLE increases the amount of bass available in the circuit, and is especially useful at lower gain settings. Flipping this switch may cut signal momentarily; this is perfectly normal.
Hold down the HAVOC switch for feedback and unpredictable noises! For Havoc to work, the Wave Cannon has to "see" the guitar as the very first pedal in your chain, or prefaced by true-bypass, non-buffered effect pedals that are turned off. Tune the craziness with the other controls on the pedal or your guitar. Results may vary.
