Frequently Asked Questions - Wanderer X SAFETY 1ST

How do I fold the Wanderer X stroller?
To fold, first apply the brakes, fold the canopy, unlock the front swivel wheel, and adjust the backrest to the full layback position. Then pull the folding locks on both sides up and simultaneously press down to fold. The storage latch will automatically lock. Lift the handle to check it's engaged.
What is the maximum weight limit for the stroller?
The maximum child weight is 17 kg (37.5 lbs). The shopping basket should not exceed 4 kg (8.8 lbs). For the bassinette or infant carrier, maximum child weight is 9 kg (19.8 lbs).
How do I adjust the harness height?
To change shoulder harness height, position the shoulder straps near the child's shoulders, push the shoulder harness tongue out of the current slot, pull it through the back of the seat, and insert it into the desired slot. Always ensure a snug fit.
Can I use the stroller with a car seat?
Yes, the Wanderer X is compatible with Maxi-Cosi Infant Carriers (sold separately) using the included adaptors. The infant carrier must be installed rearward-facing only. Follow the instructions for attaching adaptors marked 'R' and 'L'.
How do I engage and release the brakes?
To apply brakes, press down firmly on the brake pedal with the ball of your foot until both indicators show red. To release, lift the red pedal until fully disengaged; both indicators should turn green. Always apply brakes when stationary.
How do I clean the stroller?
Clean the frame by wiping with a damp cloth. Spot clean fabrics with warm water and mild soap. Do not use abrasives, bleach, or strong detergents. Ensure fabric is dry before storing. Occasionally lubricate wheels with light oil.
How do I attach the bassinette?
Position the bassinette rearward-facing only. Insert it into the frame until you hear a 'CLICK'. To remove, slide and hold button (A), press button (B), then press button (C) and lift out. The bassinette is sold separately.
What is the tether strap used for?
The tether strap prevents the stroller from rolling away. Whenever a child is in the stroller and brakes are not engaged, place the large loop around your wrist. Always use it to avoid stroller runaway.
How do I remove the front or rear wheels?
To remove front wheel, slide the plastic button while pulling the wheel off the hub. To remove rear wheels, push and hold the metal tab, then pull the wheel off. Never Flat tyres require no air and are maintenance-free.
Are there any safety warnings I should know?
Always apply brakes when stationary. Never leave children unattended. Secure child in the harness at all times. Do not carry extra children or bags. Disconnect harness straps when not in use to avoid strangulation hazards. Do not go up/down stairs or escalators with a child in the stroller.
