WARNING-- To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or serious personal injury:
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

- This electrical appliance contains a heating function. Surfaces, also
- different than the functional surfaces, can develop high temperatures. Since
• temperatures are differently perceived by different persons, this equipment shall be used with CAUTION. The equipment shall be touch only at intended handles and gripping surfaces, and use heat protection like gloves or similar. Surfaces other than intended gripping surfaces shall get sufficiently time to the cool down before getting touched. - When symbol IEC 60417-5041(DB:2002-10, ▲) is used, it means "Caution: Hot surface"
CAUTION-- To reduce the risk of personal injury or product/property damage:
- This product is intended for indoor, non-industrial, non-commercial, household use only as a panini maker and healthy grill. Do not use the item outdoors or for any other purpose.
- Do not allow the Power Cord to hang where it may be tripped over or pulled (e.g., over the edge of a table or counter).
Special instructions
- To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another high-wattage product on the same electrical circuit.
- A short power supply cord is provided with this product. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used:
– The marked electrical rating of the cord must be at least as great as that of the product.
- Arrange the extension cord so that it does not hang where it can be tripped over or pulled unintentionally.

To Use
CAUTION: Do not use this product to cook or defrost frozen food. All food must be completely defrosted before cooking it with this product.
• Unroll the mains lead fully.
- Check that the voltage in the country where you
are using the device corresponds to the voltage indicated on the device.
- Plug the device into a socket which is in good condition and earthed to avoid any danger.
- Unplug the electric power lead after use and before any cleaning or maintenance operations or assembling any accessories.
- Connect the thermostat plug to the device (see "Assembly" below); check that the thermostat button is in the minimum position
- Select the cooking temperature with the help of the thermostat button. The indicator light will switch on to indicate that the device is heating up.
- Preheat the grill to reach the ideal cooking temperature. When the device has reached the desired temperature, the indicator light will switch off.
- Hold lid handle to upright position, lid can stand upright.
• Then place the food on the grill.
• The cooking time will depend on the type of food and your personal taste.
Ractical advice
• Defrost frozen foods before grilling them.
- To grill meat, put the thermostat button in its maximum position and make sure that the grill has been fully preheated before cooking. To cook the meat traditionally, according to your taste, select the temperature which best suits you.
• Take care not to scratch the special coating on the cooking plates as they will lose their non-stick quality. Use a traditional wooden spatula or a specially designed heat resistant plastic utensil. Do not use sharp and/or pointed metal objects.
- In the event of partial use of the grill surface, place all food in the centre of the grill.
Note
•The first time you use the Grill it may have a slight odor and may smoke a bit. This is normal and common to appliances with nonstick surfaces.
- A plastic cleaning spatula can be used for cleaning the grilling plate and frying plate after you have finished cooking and the unit has cooled down completely (at least 30 minutes). Using the cleaning tool on a hot surface for too long will cause the plastic to melt.
Care and cleaning
- When finished cooking, unplug from the outlet and allow the grill to cool completely before cleaning. Never transport the unit when it is hot.
- Pull out the connector. If cleaning is necessary, wipe over unit with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT IMMERSE THE CONNECTOR IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
- Lift the cooking plate off the Body and pour off any excess grease or liquid from the metal drip tray. The cooking plate can be washed in the dishwasher. The drip tray and the plastic Body must be cleaned by hand.
- Do not use steel wool pads or harsh, abrasive cleaners on the cooking surface as they ma damage the nonstick coating. Never use a caustic oven cleaner as this will damage the cooking surface.
- To remove cooked on food, use a plastic spatula. Be sure to clean the handles after each use. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth or paper towel.
- The power cord assembly should not be immersed in water or placed in the dishwasher. To clean, wipe with a damp cloth.
- The appliance inlet must be carefully dried before the appliance is used again.
