How do I connect the subwoofer to my AV receiver?

Use an RCA cable to connect the receiver's subwoofer pre-out to the LFE or left/right input on the subwoofer. Ensure the receiver's bass management is set to send low frequencies to the subwoofer.

What is the best placement for the subwoofer?
