Frequently Asked Questions - IVADM35 Ivation

How does the Ivation IVADM35 dehumidifier work?
The IVADM35 uses Peltier technology (thermo-electric module) instead of a compressor, making it lightweight and quiet. It condenses moisture from the air and collects it in the removable water tank.
What size room is the IVADM35 suitable for?
It is designed for small rooms such as wardrobes, larders, or bathrooms. For best performance, keep windows and doors closed.
How do I turn on the dehumidifier?
Plug in the power adapter, then press the On/Off button to the 'On' position. The green LED will light up to indicate operation.
What does the yellow LED mean?
The yellow LED indicates that the water tank is full. The unit will automatically shut off. Empty the tank and replace it to resume operation.
How do I clean the dehumidifier?
Turn off and unplug the unit. Use a soft cloth to wipe the exterior and a brush to remove dust from the air inlet and outlet grills.
Why is my dehumidifier not collecting water?
Possible causes: the air inlet is blocked, doors/windows are open, or the room temperature/humidity is too low (below 15°C/40% RH). Also ensure the water tank is properly inserted.
Can I use the dehumidifier in cold weather?
The unit works best above 15°C. In extreme cold or heat, performance may be reduced. Avoid operating in freezing conditions.
Can I drain the water continuously?
The IVADM35 does not have a continuous drain option. You must empty the removable water tank manually when full.
What should I do if water leaks from the front?
Ensure the unit is on a level surface. If it leans forward, water may drip out instead of into the tank. Tilt it back slightly or raise the front feet.
Is the dehumidifier heavy? How to move it?
The unit is lightweight (approx. 3.5 kg). Use the lift-slot at the top while supporting the base to carry it upright and avoid water leakage.
