1.1. Power Supply

Make sure the main voltage is compatible with the appliance's. If this is not the case please consult the Customer Support Service.

1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables

Do not tangle the cord or pull it to disconnect the appliance. Also, keep the cord away from warm surfaces.

Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket.

Take it to the Technical Support Service for replacement.

1.3. Humidity and Water

Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous. To avoid fire hazard or electric shock do not expose your appliance to humidity or water. Furthermore, do not place your appliance under water (e.g. for cleaning).

1.4. Cleaning

Unplug the device before cleaning it. Do not use cleaning products. Please do not clean the clipper or AC adapter using solvent, benzine or alcohol.

Clean the plug regularly to remove any dust or dirt.

For cleanliness and convenience, we recommend you clean your hair clipper regularly. Regular cleaning will keep your hair clipper in good condition while preventing smells or bacteria from developing, and will maintain cutting performance.

Press the switch to turn the clipper off. Pull the blade off as shown in the illustration (see fig. 4). Clean the cutting head and the clipper using the brush. Rinse the blade unit directly under the tap (see fig. 5). After rinsing it, wipe the blade unit with a cloth and then leave it to dry. Reassemble the clipper in the reverse order.

1.5. General Precautions

• Do not leave this clipper within the reach of children.
• Do not use while bathing or in the shower.
• Do not place or store this appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
• Except when charging, always unplug this appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using.
  • This appliance is for household use only.
• An appliance should never be left unattended when it is plugged in, except when charging the appliance.
• Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.

- Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.

- Disconnect the AC adapter from the outlet when cleaning the clipper. Always disconnect by pulling the AC adapter and not the power cord.

- Please do not use the clipper if the power cord or the AC adapter is worn, or if the AC adapter does not fit snugly into the outlet.

- Please do not place heavy objects on the power cord or trap it between objects. Do not damage or deform the power cord.

- The power cord cannot be replaced. If it is damaged, the AC adapter should be discarded.

- Do not use any power cord or AC adapter other than the one specifically designed for this model.

- Please do not insert and remove the AC adapter with wet hands. Do not wet the AC adapter.

- Never drop or insert any object into any of the appliance's openings.

- Do not dismantle or modify the clipper. Do not attempt repairs. Repairs must always be carried out by your dealer.

- Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.

- Always store this appliance and cord in a moisture-free area. Do not store it in places where temperatures exceed 60 °C.

- Charge the clipper at temperatures of between 5 °C and 35 °C for it to work correctly. Please do not store the clipper in a place exposed to direct sunlight or near a heater or other source of heat.

• Make sure the cord is disconnected from the trimmer stand when storing.
• Do not use this appliance with a damaged or broken cutter unit, as injury may occur. Always make sure the blades are aligned properly.
• Check that the blades are not damaged or deformed before use.
• Please do not press the blade against the skin.
• Do not use an extension cord or a voltage converter with this appliance.
• Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.
• The power unit is intended to be correctly oriented in a vertical or floor mount position.
• When the power plug or connector is used as the disconnect device, it must be easily accessible.
• Do not use the equipment near water reservoirs (such as baths, basins, sinks, etc.).
• The clipper may become warm during operation and/or charging. This is normal.
• Please do not use the clipper for any purpose other than trimming, and do not use it to trim pet fur.

2.2. Operating Instructions

Using your hair clipper (see fig. 2)

1. Press the switch to turn the clipper on.
2. Cut your hair using a suitable length comb. Don't use the clipper in the opposite direction, otherwise it may over-cut your hair.
3. Press the switch to turn the clipper off.

Fitting the blade (see fig. 6)

1. Insert the blade into the slot on the clipper head unit.
2. Hold the blade and push it gently into place.
3. Pushing the blade will lock it into position and you will hear a "click" when it locks.
4. The blade is now fitted.

Fitting and using the length comb (see fig. 7)

1. You can install any of the cutting length accessories.
2. Insert the pin into the hole on the clipper body on the comb side, Then press the other side of the comb to lock it into the cutting head. You will hear a "click" when it fits into place. You can now use the clipper to cut your hair.
3. When you have finished, press the comb button to release it.

Charging (see fig. 8)

1. Connect the power cord to the hair clipper and plug the other end into a power outlet. The charge LED will be red while the clipper is charging.

1. If the clipper begins to slow down, you can fully charge it in 8 hours. When charging the hair clipper for the first time, or if you have not used it for a long time, you should charge it for 12 hours. Do not charge it for more than 24 hours.
2. A full charge will provide approximately 40 minutes of continuous use.
3. Before travelling, charge it fully if you do not intend to take the adapter with you.

2.3. Maintenance

Recycling the battery (see fig. 9)

Batteries contain substances that may pollute the environment. The batteries in this clipper are not intended to be replaced by consumers. However, the batteries may be replaced at an authorized service center.

1. The procedure described below is only intended for removal of the rechargeable battery for the purpose of disposing of it properly.
2. Only remove the battery if it is completely exhausted.
3. Do not remove the battery during charging.

Worten Equipamentos para o Lar provides a 2-year warranty for manufacturing defects from the date of purchase of the appliance.

WARNING: Any attempt to repair the appliance without contacting the manufacturer or seller will void the warranty.

5. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

In order to protect the environment we strive to reduce the volume of packaging used, limiting it to three easily sorted materials: cardboard, paper and plastic. The appliance is manufactured using recyclable materials after disassembled by a specialized company. Please comply with local regulations concerning the recycling of all materials.
