How do I clean the air conditioner filter?

Open the front panel, remove the filter by pulling it out. Clean with water (max 45°C) and let it dry in shade. Do not use fire or hair dryer. Reinstall after drying. Clean every 3 months or more often in dusty conditions.

How do I set the timer on the remote?

Press the TIMER button. When the unit is on, it sets Timer Off (T-OFF). When off, it sets Timer On (T-ON). Use +/- buttons to adjust time in 0.5h increments (range 0.5–24h). Press TIMER again to confirm. Cancel by pressing TIMER twice within 5 seconds.

What does error code E5 mean on the display?

Error code E5 indicates a malfunction. Try restarting the unit. If it persists, contact a qualified technician. Other common codes: E8, U8, H6 (restart first), C5, F1, F2 (require professional service).

Why is there no air coming from the indoor unit?

Possible causes: air inlet/outlet blocked, heating mode just started (delay to prevent cold blow), or set temperature reached. Check for obstructions. In heating mode, wait a few minutes. If problem persists, check remote settings.

How do I replace the remote control batteries?

Press the marked spot on the back of the remote and slide out the battery cover. Replace with two AAA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Reattach the cover. If not used for long periods, remove batteries to prevent leakage.

Can I install the air conditioner myself?

No. Installation must be performed by qualified professionals in accordance with local electrical codes (NEC, CEC). Improper installation can cause electric shock, fire, or damage. Only trained technicians should handle refrigerant lines and electrical connections.

Why is mist coming out of the indoor unit?

Mist is normal when indoor temperature and humidity are high. Rapid cooling of humid air causes condensation visible as mist. It disappears after the room reaches lower humidity. This does not indicate a malfunction.

How do I switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit on the remote?

With the unit OFF, press and hold the - and MODE buttons simultaneously. The display will toggle between °C and °F. Release after switch.

What is the child lock function and how do I use it?

Child lock prevents accidental button presses. Press the + and - buttons simultaneously to activate/deactivate. When active, the LOCK icon appears on the remote and no signals are sent. Press the same combination again to unlock.

How do I operate the air conditioner if the remote is lost or damaged?

Open the front panel of the indoor unit and press the AUX button (use an insulated object like a pen). This toggles the unit on/off in Auto mode. For full control, replace the remote or contact customer service.

1.1. Power Supply

Make sure the mains voltage is compatible with the appliance voltage. If this is not the case consult the vendor or Customer Support Service.

1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables

Do not roll up or pull the cord to disconnect the appliance, and do not use it to twine the appliance. Keep the cord away from warm surfaces.

Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket, or if it is not working properly.

If the power cord is damaged, do not use your appliance. Take it to technical assistance for replacement.

Do not use inadequately rated power cord.

1.3. Humidity and Water

• If any of the phenomena below occur, please turn off the air conditioner, disconnect the power immediately, and then contact the dealer or qualified professionals for service:

  Power cord is overheating or damaged.
  There is an abnormal sound during operation.
  Frequent tripping of the circuit breaker.
  Air conditioner gives off a burning smell.
  Indoor unit is leaking

• If the air conditioner operates under abnormal conditions, it may cause a malfunction, electric shock or fire hazard.
• When turning the unit on or off using the emergency operation switch, please press this switch using a non-metallic insulating object.
• Do not step onto or place heavy objects on top of the outdoor unit. It may cause damage or personal injury.
• Installation must be performed by qualified professionals in accordance with the requirements of NEC and CEC. Otherwise, it may cause personal injury or damage.
• Electrical safety regulations must be followed when installing the unit.
• In accordance with the local safety regulations, use a compliant power supply circuit and circuit breaker. Do install a circuit break. Not doing so, may cause malfunction.
• An all-pole disconnection switch with a contact separation of at least 3 mm for all poles should be connected in fixed wiring.
• When including a circuit breaker with suitable capacity, please note the table in subsequent pages. The air switch should include a magnet buckle and a heating buckle function to protect the unit from short-circuit and overload.
• Make sure the power supply matches the air conditioner's requirements. An unstable power supply or incorrect wiring may cause a malfunction. Please install suitable power supply cables before using the air conditioner.
• Correctly connect the live wire, neutral wire and ground wire of the power socket.
• Be sure to cut off the power supply before proceeding with any work related to electricity and safety.
• Do not reconnect the power before finishing the installation.
• The temperature of refrigerant circuit will be high, please keep the interconnection cable away from the copper tube.
• The appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.
• The air conditioner is a first class electric appliance. It must be properly grounded with a specialized grounding device by a professional. Please make sure it is always grounded effectively, otherwise it may cause electric shocks.
• The yellow-green wire in the air conditioner is the grounding wire, which cannot be used for any other purposes.

Selection of installation location

Basic requirement Indoor unit

Installing the unit in the following locations may cause it to malfunction. If this is unavoidable, please consult the local dealer.Locations with strong heat sources, or where vapors, flammable or explosive gases, or airborne volatile objects.Locations with high-frequency emitting devices (such as welding machines or medical equipment).Coastal locations with high salinity.Locations with airborne oil vapors or fumes.Locations with sulphured gas.Other locations with special circumstances.The appliance should not be installed in a laundry.

1. There should be no obstructions near the air inlet or outlet.2. Select a location where the condensate water can be drained easily and won't affect other people.3. Select a location which is convenient for connecting the outdoor unit and is near a power socket.4. Select a location which is out of reach of children.5. The location should be able to withstand the weight of the indoor unit and should not increase noise or vibration.6. The appliance should be installed 2.5m above floor level.7. Requirements for electric connection

Safety precaution

• Electric safety regulations must be followed when installing the unit.
- A suitably rated power supply circuit and air switch must be used, in compliance with local safety regulations.
- Make sure the power supply matches the requirements of the air conditioner.
- An unstable power supply or incorrect wiring may cause a malfunction. Please install suitable power supply cables before using the air conditioner.
- Correctly connect the live wire, neutral wire and grounding wire of the power socket.
- Be sure to disconnect the power supply before proceeding with any work related to electricity and safety.
- Do not connect the power before finishing the installation.
- If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid creating a hazard.
- The temperature of the refrigerant circuit, may be high, please keep the interconnection cable away from the copper tube.
- The appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.

Installation of indoor unit

Step 1: choosing the installation location

Recommend the installation location to the client and then confirm it with the client.

Step 2: install wall-mounting frame

1. Hang the wall-mounting frame on the wall; adjust its position horizontally with the level and then mark the screw fixing holes on the wall.
2. Drill the screw fixing holes in the wall with impact drill (the specification of drill head should be the same as the plastic expansion anchors) and then insert the plastic expansion anchors in the holes.
3. Fix the wall-mounting frame to the wall self with tapping screws (ST4.2X25TA) and then check if the frame is firmly installed by pulling on the frame. If a plastic expansion anchor is loose, please drill another fixing hole nearby.

Step 3: open pipe hole

1. Choose the position of the pipe hole according to the direction of the outlet pipe. The position of the pipe hole should be a little lower than the wall-mounted frame, as shown below.

1. Bore a pipe hole with a diameter of 55 in the selected outlet pipe position. In order to drain smoothly, slant the pipe hole in the wall slightly downward towards the outdoor side with the gradient of 5-10°.

Note:

• Pay attention to dust prevention and take appropriate safety measures when opening the hole.
• The plastic expansion anchors are not provided and should be bought locally.

Step 4: outlet pipe

1. The pipe can exit the unit to the right, rear right, left or rear left.

1. If the left or right exit for the pipe is chosen, please cut out the corresponding opening in the bottom of the housing.

Step 5: connect the pipe of indoor unit

1. Align the pipe joint with the corresponding bellmouth.
2. Pretighten the union nut by hand.
3. Adjust the torque force by referring to the following table. Place the open-end wrench on the pipe joint and place the torque wrench on the union nut. Tighten the union nut with the torque wrench.

1. Wrap the indoor pipe and joint with the connection pipe with pipe insulation, and then wrap it with tape.

Step 6: install drain hose

1. Connect the drain hose to the outlet pipe of indoor unit.
2. Bind the joint with tape.

Note:

• Add pipe insulation to the indoor drain hose in order to prevent condensation.
• The plastic expansion anchors are not provided.

Step 7: connect indoor unit wiring

1. Open the panel, remove the screw on the wiring cover and then remove the cover.

1. Insert the power connection wire through the cable-cross hole at the back of the indoor unit and then pull it out from the front side.

1. Remove the wire clip; connect the power connection wire to the wiring terminal according to the color; tighten the screw and then fix the power connection wire with a wire clip.

1. Replace the wiring cover and then tighten the screw.
2. Close the panel.

Note:

• All wiring in the indoor and outdoor units should be connected by a professional.
• If the length of the power connection is insufficient, please contact the supplier.
• For air conditioners with a plug, the plug should be accessible after completing the installation.
• For the air conditioners without a plug, an air switch must be installed in the circuit.
• The air switch should be all-pole parting and the contact parting distance should be more than 3 mm.

Step 8: bind up pipe

1. Bind up the connection pipe, power cord and drain hose with the tape.

1. Reserve a certain length of drain hose and power cord for installation when binding them. When binding, separate the indoor power to a certain degree, and then separate the drain hose.

1. Bind them evenly.

2. The liquid pipe and gas pipe should be bound separately at the end.

Note:

• The power cord and control wire cannot be crossed or wound.
• The drain hose should be bound at the bottom.

Step 9: hang the indoor unit

1. Put the bound pipes in the wall pipe and then make them pass through the wall hole.
2. Hang the indoor unit on the wall-mounting frame.
3. Stuff the gap between pipes and wall hole with sealing compound.
4. Attach the wall pipe.
5. Check if the indoor unit is installed firmly and tight to the wall.

Note:

- Do not bend the drain hose excessively in order to prevent blockage.

Check after installation

- Check according to the following requirement after finishing installation.

Test operation

1. Preparation of test operation

• The client approves the air conditioner.
- Specify the important notes regarding the air conditioner for the client.

2. Test operation method

• Connect the power and press the ON/OFF button on the remote controller to start operation.
• Press the MODE button to select AUTO, COOL, DRY, FAN and HEAT to check whether or not it is operating normally.
• If the ambient temperature is lower than 16^ , the air conditioner can't start cooling.

2. After the length of connection pipe is extended for 10m based on its standard length, you should add 5 ml of refrigerant oil for each additional 5m of connection pipe.

Pipe expanding method

Note: Incorrect pipe expanding is the main cause of refrigerant leakage. Please expand the pipe according to the following steps:

A: Cut the pipe

• Confirm the pipe length according to the distance between the indoor and outdoor units.
• Cut the required pipe with pipe cutter.

B: Remove the burrs

- Remove the burrs with a shaper and prevent the burrs from getting into the pipe.

C: Attach a suitable insulating pipe

D: Attach the union nut

- Remove the union nut on the indoor connection pipe and outdoor valve; install the union nut on the pipe.

E: Expand the port

- Expand the port with expander.

2.2.2. Operation

Introduction for buttons on remote controller

Note:

• This is a general use remote control. It can be used for various multifunction air conditioners; If a button on the remote control is pressed for a function that is not available on a particular model, the unit will maintain its current running status.
• When power is switched on (stand by condition), you can operate the air conditioner through the remote control.
• When unit is on, each time you press the button on the remote control, the sending signal icon “on the remote control display will blink once. If the air conditioner emits a beep sound, it means the signal has been sent.
• When unit is off, Set temperature will be displayed on the remote control (If the light of indoor unit display is turned on, the corresponding icon will be displayed);
  When unit is on, it will display the icon of the current function.

ON/OFF button

Press this button to turn unit on/off.

MODE button

Press this button once to cycle through the modes and select the one required as shown below (the corresponding icon “◀” will be lit up after the mode is selected):

AUTO ▶ COOL ▶ DRY ▶ FAN ▶ HEAT (Only for models with heating function)

• When auto mode is selected, the air conditioner will operate automatically according to ambient temperature. Set temperature can't be adjusted and won't be displayed either. Press FAN button to adjust fan speed.
• When cool mode is selected, the air conditioner will operate in cool mode. Then press + or - button to adjust Set temperature. Press FAN button to adjust fan speed.
• When dry mode is selected, the air conditioner will operate at low fan speed in dry mode. In dry mode, the fan speed can't be adjusted.
• When fan mode is selected, air conditioner will operate in fan mode only. Press the FAN button to adjust fan speed.

• When heat mode is selected, the air conditioner will operate in heat mode. Then press + or - button to adjust Set temperature. Press the FAN button to adjust fan speed.
  (The cooling only unit can't receive the HEAT mode signal. If HEAT mode is set by the remote control, press ON/OFF button if you can't turn on the air conditioner.)

+ / - Button

• Pressing + or - button once will increase or decrease Set temperature by 1°F (°C).
  Hold + or - button for 2s, Set temperature on the remote control will change quickly.
  Release the button after your required Set temperature is reached.
• When setting Timer On or Timer Off, press the + or - button to adjust the time. (See TIMER Button for setting details)

FAN button

Pressing this button can select fan speed circularly as: AUTO, SPEED 1 ( ), SPEED 2 ( ), SPEED 3 ( ), SPEED 4 ( ).

Note:

• In Auto speed, air conditioner will select the proper fan speed automatically according to the ambient temperature.
• Fan speed can't be adjusted under Dry mode.

SWING button

Press this button to turn on up & down air swing.

SLEEP button

In Cool, Heat and Dry modes, press this button to turn on Sleep function. Press this button to cancel Sleep function. In Fan and Auto mode, this function is unavailable.

TIMER button

• When unit is on, press this button to set Timer Off. The T-OFF and H icons will be blinking. Within 5s, press + or - button to adjust the time for Timer Off. Pressing the + or - button once will increase or decrease the time by 0.5h. Holding + or - button for 2s, will change the time more quickly. Release the button when your required set time is reached. Then press the TIMER button to confirm it. The T-OFF and H icon will stop blinking.
• When unit is off, press this button to set Timer On. The T-ON and H icons will be blinking. Within 5s, press the + or - button to adjust the time for Timer On. Pressing the + or - button once will increase or decrease the time by 0.5h. Holding the + or - button for 2s, will change the time more quickly. Release the when your required set time is reached. Then press TIMER button to confirm it. The T-ON and H icons will stop blinking.
• Cancel Timer On/Off: If the Timer function is set up, press the TIMER button

Note:

• Range for the timer setting is: 0.5\~24h
• The interval between two actions can't exceed 5s, otherwise the remote control will exit setting status.

Introduction to button combination functions

Child lock function

Pressing the "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously can turn the child lock function on or off. When the child lock function is activated, the LOCK indicator on the remote control is ON. If you attempt to operate the remote control, it won't send a signal.

Temperature display switchover function

In OFF status, pressing the "-" and "MODE" buttons simultaneously can switch between °C and °F.

Operation guide

1. After connecting the power, press the "ON/OFF" button on the remote control to turn on the air conditioner.
2. Press the "MODE" button to select your required mode: AUTO, COOL, DRY, FAN, HEAT.
3. Press the "+" or "-" button to select your required temperature (temperature can't be adjusted in Auto mode).
4. Press the "FAN" button to set your required fan speed: auto, low, medium and high.
5. Press the "SWING" button to select the fan blowing angle.

NOTICE

• During operation, point the remote control signal sender at the receiving window on indoor unit.
• The distance between signal sender and the receiving window should be no more than 8m, and there should be no obstacles between them.
• Signal may be susceptible to interference in a room where there is a fluorescent light or wireless telephone; remote controller should be close to indoor unit during operation.
• Replace batteries of the same type when replacement is required.
• If the remote control is not to be used for a long time, please remove the batteries.
• If the display on remote control is fuzzy or there is no display, please replace the batteries.

Emergency operation

If the remote control is lost or damaged, please use the auxiliary button to turn the air conditioner on or off. The operation is detailed as below: As shown in the Fig. open the panel and press the aux. button to turn the air

2.3. Maintenance

Replacement of batteries in remote control

1. Press the back side of the remote control on the spot marked "√", and then push out the cover of battery compartment in the direction of the arrow.
2. Replace two No.7 (AAA 1.5V) dry batteries and make sure the positions of the + and - polarities are correct.
3. Reinstall the cover of battery compartment.

Clean surface of indoor unit

When the surface of indoor unit is dirty, it is recommended that a soft dry cloth or wet cloth is used to wipe it.

NOTICE: Do not remove the panel when cleaning it.

Clean filter

1. Open panel

Pull the panel out to a certain angle as shown in the figure.

2. Remove filter

Remove the filter as indicated in the figure.

• The filter should be cleaned every three months. If there is a lot of dust in the operation environment, the frequency of cleaning can be increased.
  • To avoid injury, do not touch the fins after removing the filter.
• To avoid deformation or fire hazard, do not use fire or a hair dryer to dry the filter.

NOTICE: Checking before seasonal use

1. Check whether air inlets are blocked.
2. Check whether air switch, plug and socket are in good condition.
3. Check whether the filter is clean.
4. Check whether drainage pipe is damaged.

NOTICE: Checking after seasonal use

1. Disconnect power supply.
2. Clean indoor unit's filter and panel.

2.4. Troubleshooting

General phenomenon analysis

Please check the items below before asking for maintenance. If the malfunction still can't be eliminated, please contact a local dealer or qualified professional.

Indoor unit can't receive remote control's signal or remote control is inactive.	Is it experiencing severe interference (such as from static electricity or unstable voltage)?	Pull out the plug. Reinsert the plug after about 3min, and then turn the unit on again.
	Is the remote control within the signal receiving range?	Signal receiving range is 8m.
	Are there any obstacles? Remove	obstacles.
	Is the remote control pointing at the receiving window?	Select proper angle and point the remote control at the receiving window on the indoor unit.
	Does the remote control have low; sensitivity, fuzzy display, or no display?	Check the batteries. If the battery power is too low, please replace them.
	No display when operating remote control?	Check whether remote control appears to be damaged.If yes, replace it.
	Fluorescent lamp in room? Move	the remote control closer to indoor unit.Turn off the fluorescent lamp and then try it again.
No air emitted from indoor unit	Indoor unit's air inlet or outlet is blocked?	Eliminate obstructions.
	If in heating mode, has the Indoor temperature reached the set temperature?	After reaching to set temperature, the Indoor unit will stop blowing out air.
	Has heating mode just been turned on?	In order to prevent blowing out cold air, the indoor unit will only be started after several minutes delay. This is a normal phenomenon.
Air conditioner can't operate	Power failure? Wait until power is restores.
	Is the plug loose? Reinsert the plug.
	Air switch trips off or fuse is blown?	Ask a professional to replace the air switch or fuse.
	Wiring has a malfunction? Ask a professional to replace it.
	Unit restarts immediately after stopping operation?	Wait for 3min, and then turn the unit on again.
	Is the function setting on the remote control correct?	Reset the function.
Mist is emitted from indoor unit's air outlet	Is there high indoor temperature and humidity?	This is due to the indoor air being cooled rapidly. After a while the indoor temperature and humidity will decrease and the mist will disappear.
Set temperature can't be adjusted	Is unit operating in auto mode? Temperature can't be adjusted in auto mode.Please switch the operating mode if you need to adjust the temperature.
	Your required temperature exceeds the set temperature range?	Set temperature range:16°C ~30°C.
Cooling (heating) effect is not good.	Voltage is too low? Wait until the voltage returns to normal.
	Filter is dirty?	Clean the filter.
	Is Set temperature within the proper range?	Adjust temperature to within the proper range.
	Door or window are open?	Close doors and windows.

Odors are emitted	Is there a source of the odor, such as furniture or cigarettes, etc.?	Eliminate the odor source.Clean the filter.
Air conditioner operates abnormally suddenly	Is there interference, such as thunder, wireless devices, etc.?	Disconnect the power, reconnect the power, and then turn the unit on again.
"Water flowing" noise	Has the air conditioner just been turned on or off?	The noise is the sound of refrigerant flowing inside the unit, which is a normal phenomenon.
Cracking noise	Has the air conditioner just been turned on or off?	This is the sound of friction caused by expansion and/or contraction of the panel or other parts, due to the change of temperature.

When the air conditioner status is abnormal, the temperature indicator on indoor unit will blink to display the corresponding error code. Please refer to below list to identify the error code.
