What is the recommended duration and frequency of use?

As a general guide, use the device up to 10 minutes at one time, 2 to 3 times per week. The device will automatically switch off after approx. 10 minutes.

Can I use the device continuously?

As a guide, use once a day for 10 minutes, two to three times a week (maximum of twice a day). If using continuously, allow at least 5 hours intervals between treatments.

Can I use the device in the bathroom?

The device is waterproof for cleaning (IPX5), but do not use it in the bathroom or bathtub. Water, shampoo, or bath salts on the magnet parts may cause malfunction.

Why do I feel a difference in stimulation between the right and left sides?

Differences in skin condition and muscle mass may cause varying sensations. Adjust the attachment position of the Stretch Fit Sheet to find the optimal spot. Also ensure both controllers are at the same level.

What should I do if I experience skin rash, inflammation, or itchiness?

This may be caused by EMS stimulation. If symptoms persist on the following day, consult a physician. Stop use immediately if any adverse reaction occurs.

Why do my teeth hurt when using the device?

Tooth pain may occur in persons undergoing dental treatment or with metal crowns/fillings. If discomfort persists, consult a dentist or physician.

Can I use the device after sun tanning or shaving?

Do not use immediately after sun tanning or shaving, as it may cause inflammation. Wait until skin irritation subsides. If problems occur, stop use and consult a physician.

Can I use the device on areas other than around my eyes?

No, the device is designed exclusively for use around the eyes. Do not use on other parts of the face or body.

How many times can I reuse a Stretch Fit Sheet?

Stretch Fit Sheets can be used approximately 3 times. After each use, attach the protective sheet and store. Replace if adhesion weakens or tears.

What should I do if the device does not turn on?

Press and hold the POWER ON/UP button for at least 1 second. If still not responding, charge the battery. Ensure the magnetic charging cable is attached correctly.

- Near a flammable substance (such as alcohol, thinner, benzene, nail polish remover or spray).
• A location where there is exposure to oil smoke or steam
• A location that may become hot, such as near a heating device (e.g. a heater)
• A location with drastic temperature changes (for example, near an air conditioner or heater)

• Ensure that the temperature of the usage environment is properly maintained.
  The range of environmental temperature in which the device can be used is from 10 to 35°C. Verify the ambient temperature of the location where the device will be used. The device may not adjust to the ambient temperature of a new location immediately after being moved to the new location. Failure to comply may cause the device to fail or malfunction.
• If you feel that a contact lens is moving while using the device, stop the use immediately and remove the contact lens before use again.
• Those who are currently undergoing dental treatment (implants, orthodontics, metal crown, etc.) or have dental fillings must adjust the level when using the device.
  They may experience unpleasant sensations in their teeth due to the EMS stimulation.

• During the treatment, carefully check that your skin is not showing any abnormalities.
  Stop using the device immediately if you start to feel pain, fatigue or see any skin reactions during use.

Stop using the device immediately if the treatment does not agree with your skin.

If symptoms persist the following day and beyond, consult a physician.

- Use only Level1 for the EMS level (intensity) upon the first use until you become familiar with how to use the device.

- Do not move or lift the controllers by pulling the USB charging cable.

Do not pull the cord to move the device

- Do not use the device if the USB charging cable is damaged or if the USB port is loose.

Failure to comply may cause an electric shock, short circuit or tire. Contact your local distributor for an advice on repairing the device.

• Do not wash or submerge the USB charging cable in water.

No contact with water

- Be sure to turn off the power when not in use and during cleaning. Remove the AC adapter (commercially available) and USB charging cable from the controller and the power outlet when not in use. Do not insert or disconnect the plug with wet or damp hands.

- When unplugging the USB charging cable from the device and the USB port, do so by gripping the plug (do not touch the metal parts). Do not insert or disconnect the plug with wet or damp hands.

- Do not dispose of the device in a fire or heat it. Do not use, charge or store in a high-temperature or high-pressure area.

The device features a built-in rechargeable battery. Failure to comply may lead to the generation of heat, a fire or explosion.

- Make sure the AC adapter (commercially available) and USB charging cable are fully inserted into the electrical outlet. Be sure to check the plug configuration and the voltage of the power outlet before using the device in countries other than Japan.

- If any problem occurs, turn off the power immediately.

Retrain from using the device if faulty operation, smoke, abnormal noise or odors are detected or if it is otherwise operating in an abnormal state.

- Do not exceed the rated capacity of a power outlet or wiring accessory (do not connecting too many plugs in one outlet).

Auto Power Off

The device will automatically switch off approx. 10 minutes after it has been turned on.

Water resistance class

This product is IPX5 level waterproof (JIS waterproof class).

* The device is not completely waterproof. Do not submerge the device in water or leave it continuously under running water for 3 minutes or longer.

* The charging USB cable is not waterproof.

Before Use

Charge the Device

• Be sure to attach the magnetic charging terminal in the correct direction. Charging will not begin if the magnetic charging terminal is attached in a wrong direction.
• Fully charge the battery before using the device for the first time after purchasing.
• When using the device for the first time or when the device has not been used for an period of time, it is possible that you will be able to use the device for a short time only, even with a full charge. In such a case, charge the controllers again before using it.
• Please use the commercially available AC adapter.

ATTENTION

- If there is any water droplet or stains on the controllers or charging terminal, please be sure to wipe them dry before use. Charging the device with water droplets or stains on the device could cause a failure.

Safety Precaution before using the device: When using the device for the first time, always test for compatibility with your skin to prevent skin problems.

Use the product on Level 1, and continue to use it only if you experience no redness or burning sensation on your skin. If you see any negative reaction on your skin, stop use immediately.

How to Use

Preparation

1 Prepare your skin and put your hair up if it is long

After washing your face to remove makeup, please use your own skin-care products to prepare your skin for treatment.

• If you use the device over makeup, it may cause dark staining on the skin. It will also make it more difficult for the Stretch Fit Sheet to fit closely.
• Do not use skin-care products which contain oil, such as oil-based serums. Failure to comply may cause product malfunctions or skin problems.

2 Apply the Stretch Fit Sheets around your eyes

• Remove the Stretch Fit Sheets from the protective sheets and align it with the bags under your eyes, avoiding the eyebrows and the edges of the eyes while checking the right and left. It will be more effective to put on the Stretch Fit Sheet while lifting it upward.
  * Stretch Fit Sheets can be used approximately three times. After use, please attach the dedicated protective sheets to the Stretch Fit Sheets and store them.
  * Do not attach the controller before applying the Stretch Fit Sheet to your face.
  * There is no problem if it touches on your eyebrow, but the adhesion may become weaker.
  * Make sure that skin-care products do not touch the magnet parts on the attachment part of the Stretch Fit Sheet controller.

How to apply treatment

1 Turn on the device

Press and hold the POWER ON/UP buttons on the right and left controllers for 1 second or more to turn on the power.

Check that Standby Mode is displayed.

• In Standby Mode, the three display LEDs flash.
- The EMS level (intensity) is set to Level 0 (no EMS output) by default when the standby function is activated.

- If the center LED flashes when you turn on the power, the battery charge is low.

2 Attach the two controllers to the Stretch Fit Sheet in Standby Mode.

Set the POWER ON/UP button up to attach the controller.

- Do not press any button of the controllers when you attach them to the Stretch Fit Sheets (There is no right/left distinction in controllers).

Select your choice of treatment level (intensity)

Press ON/OFF button of right and left controllers.

Operate the right and left controllers at the same time.

Make sure that you set the device at Level 1 when using it for the first time or until you become familiar with how to use it. If you perceive any skin abnormalities, immediately stop using the device.

• Press the POWER ON/UP button briefly to raise the level.
  Press the POWER OFF/DOWN button briefly to lower the level.
  • You can select among 3 treatment levels (intensity).
  • An electronic sound can be heard during operation.
  This is not an abnormality.

ATTENTION

• Use only Level 1 upon first use and until you become familiar with how to use the device.
• Be careful not to use excessive force when attaching each controller to the Stretch Fit Sheet. Failure to comply may cause damage to the controller.
• Do not raise EMS level (intensity) to the point where you feel tingling pain.

Turn off the device

The device will automatically switch off approx. 10 minutes after it has been turned on.

Hold the Stretch Fit Sheet with your hand and remove the controllers.

Remove the Stretch Fit Sheet slowly so that the skin around your eyes is not pulled.

• To stop the treatment during use, press the power OFF/DOWN button on the right or left controllers for over a second to turn off the device.
• After use, please attach the protective sheet and store the Stretch Fit Sheet.
• Stretch Fit Sheets can be used approximately three times. There is a possibility of reduced adhesion or tearing of the Stretch Fit Sheet after three uses, so please use a new Stretch Fit Sheet.

After Treatment

How to clean (the controllers)

To keep the product clean, please be sure to clean the controllers after each use.

1 Rinse under a weak flow of running water (especially the charging terminal on the back side).

* The device is not completely waterproof. Do not submerge the device in water or leave it continuously under running water for 3 minutes or longer.

2 Wipe off any moisture using a dry soft cloth or similar materials.

• After cleaning, store in a clean location with good ventilation.

- Do not leave the device with skin-care products still on it.

How to Clean (Stretch Fit Sheet)

1 Wipe by pressing lightly with a wet tissue from the top.

2 Attach the protective sheet (the clear film that was originally attached).

* Use non-alcohol wet tissues.

Storage

• Attach the protective sheet (the clear film that was originally attached) to the Stretch Fit Sheet and store.
• Store in a clean, well-ventilated place out of the reach of children.
• Remove the AC adapter (commercially available) and USB charging cable from the controller and the power outlet when not in use for an extended period of time.
• Do not leave the device in hot or humid places, such as near flames, in bright sunlight or in a bathroom.

Maintenance and Inspections

• If you have not used the device for an extended period, inspect it carefully and check that the device works properly and safely before use.
• If the device is malfunctioning, go to 'Troubleshooting' (page 21) and attempt to identify the problem before arranging to have the device repaired. If the problem persists, contact your local distributor, making sure that you have your purchase details ready when you call.
• If the device malfunctions or appears damaged, please contact your local distributor.

If you perceive any abnormalities with the device during use, check to see whether any of the following symptoms are present.

	● The Stretch Fit Sheet is not properly attached to the skin. Please attach it correctly (page 15).
	● There is not enough skin-care product. Remove the Stretch Fit Sheet and apply more skin-care product to your skin.
	● Adjust treatment level of right and left controllers.
	● If the start timing is different for the right and the left, the intensity of the stimulation will also be different
	● Low battery. Charge the battery (page 14).
	● Due to the differences of skin condition and muscle mass on the right and left cheeks, the sensations may vary. Adjust the attachment position of the Stretch Fit Sheet to find a position that stimulates your muscles.

	● The charging terminals of controllers or/and USB cable may be dirty. Wipe off the dirt.
	● Be sure to attach the magnetic charging terminal in the correct direction. Charging will not begin if the magnetic charging terminal is attached in a wrong direction.
An electronic sound can be heard during operation	● This is a normal operating sound. This is not a malfunction.

What is the recommended duration and frequency of use?

As a general guide, use the device up to 10 minutes at one time, 2 to 3 times per week.

Can I use the device continuously?

Can I use the device in the bathroom?

The device is waterproof for cleaning. However, using the device while water, shampoo or bath salts are attached to the magnet on the attachment part of the Stretch Fit Sheet or controller, may result in malfunction or a defective experience. Do not use the device in the bathroom or in the bathtub.

Can I use the device while sleeping?

Do not use the device while sleeping.

My skin is experiencing redness

The adhesion of the Stretch Fit Sheet may cause temporary redness. If the redness continues on the following day, consult a physician.

The Stretch Fit Sheet leaves a mark on my face

Depending on the condition of your skin, the Stretch Fit Sheet may leave a mark near the attachment position. However, there is no need for a concern as the mark will disappear with time.

Can I use the device on areas other than around my eyes?

Can I use a Stretch Fit Sheet multiple times?

Stretch Fit Sheets can be used approximately three times. After use, please attach the protective sheet and store the Stretch Fit Sheet. There is a possibility of reduced adhesion or tearing of the Stretch Fit Sheet after three uses, so please use a new Stretch Fit Sheet.

Can I use the device on dry skin?

It is possible, but it is recommended to use the device after conditioning your skin with skin-care products.

How to remove the built-in battery

Operation Steps

Refer to figures ① to ④ below to remove the battery. * Remove the batteries from both controllers in the same procedure.

Below figures are intended to be used for disposing of the product, not repairing it. Disassembling/repairing the device by yourself may cause a failure.

① Remove the four rubber plugs and screws on the back of the main unit and remove the main unit lid.

Remove the two screws that hold the board.

Turn the board over, disconnect the black and red cables, and remove the battery.

Wrap the disconnected cables with tape and secure them so that they do not contact each other.

Be sure to disconnect cables one by one and do not touch the disconnected parts.
