How do I replace the lamp in the Intimidator Hybrid 251SR?
Disconnect power and allow lamp to cool. Remove both head covers by loosening 4 screws on each side. Lift the lamp enclosure cover, tilt the lamp against the tension plates to free its rim. Remove power cables from contact leads. Install new lamp (Osram SIRIUS HRI 251W) and reconnect cables. Ensure the lamp is centered, close cover, and reattach head covers. Always wear gloves to avoid grease on the bulb.
How do I clean the product and gobos?
For external cleaning, unplug and wait for room temperature. Use vacuum or dry compressed air with a soft brush. Clean transparent surfaces with mild soap or ammonia-free glass cleaner on a soft cloth. For gobos, remove gobo holders every 4 months, clean gobos with ammonia-free glass cleaner, submerge holders in lubricant (e.g., WD-40), shake, brush, wipe, and apply synthetic oil to bearings. Reinstall properly.
How do I set the DMX starting address?
Press , use arrow keys to select Address, press , use arrows to choose a value from 001–512, press . Ensure the address does not conflict with other fixtures by considering the number of DMX channels used (13 or 19).
Can I use the Intimidator Hybrid 251SR without a DMX controller?
Yes. The fixture supports standalone modes: Auto (built-in programs), Sound (reacts to bass/drums), and Manual (program up to 2 steps with pan, tilt, color, etc.). Set via menu: Run Mode > Auto, Sound, or Manual. Also works in Master/Slave mode for synchronized operation.
How do I bind the RFC-XL remote to the fixture?

What is the maximum number of fixtures I can power link?
At 120 VAC, you can power link up to 3 units. At 230 VAC, up to 5 units. Use the power outlet on the back of the product. Ensure total current does not exceed 12 A. Also, set ignition delays to avoid high inrush currents: first fixture at least 5 seconds, each subsequent at least 5 seconds more.
How do I factory reset the fixture?
Press , use arrows to select Setup, press , select Factory Set, press . Confirm by selecting YES. This restores all settings to default. Alternatively, you can use Reset to reset all functions without resetting settings.
What should I do if the lamp does not turn on?
Check that the lamp is properly installed and the fuse is not blown. Ensure the fixture is powered on and the lamp setting is enabled: Setup > Lamp Setting > On/Off > ON. Also check if lamp is controlled via DMX: if Off Via DMX is YES, DMX channel 18 must send a value 088–095 to turn lamp on. Verify ignition delay is appropriate.
How do I adjust the gobo focus?
In manual mode, you can adjust focus via the menu: Run Mode > Manual > select step > choose Focus and set value 000–255. DMX channels 12 (focus) and 13A (auto focus) control focus. For precise adjustment, use the Zero Adjust Mode (passcode 2323) to calibrate focus positions for rotating and static gobos.
What are the gobo dimensions and how do I replace a gobo?
Rotating gobos have outside diameter 13.7 mm, image diameter 10 mm. To replace: disconnect power, open head cover, push gobo holder toward front of head to disengage, pull out holder. Gobo Maintenance

To ensure optimal operation, 1) inspect and 2) clean gobos every four months. More frequent maintenance may be necessary if usage is higher. To inspect, remove each gobo holder and check if: - the holders are clean (free of dirt, grime, or gunk). - the gobos are properly installed in the holders. - all the bearings are in place. • the holders are rotating freely. To clean the gobos and the gobo holder, follow the instructions below: 1. Remove the gobos from the holder. 2. Clean the gobos with a soft, lint-free cotton cloth. Use an ammonia-free glass cleaner sprayed to a piece of lint-free cotton cloth to clean glass gobos. 3. Submerge the gobo holder (without the gobo installed) in a container with a liquid lubricant (i.e., WD40) and let it rest for a couple of minutes. 4. Shake the container with the gobo holder inside to help release/loosen any gunk/grime/dirt. 5. Take the gobo holder out of the container and clean it using a small nylon brush. 6. Wipe off all the lubricant from the gobo holder using a piece of lint-free cotton cloth. 7. Apply a small coat of synthetic oil (i.e., Liquid Bearings) to the bearings and rotate it thoroughly in both directions (needle tip applier recommended). Make sure the gobo holder is rotating freely and is not making any abnormal noise. 8. Reinstall the gobos in the gobo holder. Make sure the gobos are in the correct positions. 9. Reinstall the gobo holder in the unit.
