General Work Area Safety

• Work areas should be clean and well it.
- Do not operate the equipment if bystanders, animals etc are within operating range of the equipment or the general work area.

General Personal Safety

Other people nearby should also wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery, which can be caught in moving parts. Keep hair and clothing away from the equipment.
• Stay alert and use common sense when operating the equipment. Do not overreach. Always maintain secure footing and balance.
• Do not use the equipment if tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.
• This equipment is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities.

General Fuel Safety

• Petrol/fuel/gasoline is extremely flammable – keep clear of naked flames or other ignition sources.
• Do not spill fuel. If you spill fuel, wipe it off the equipment immediately – if fuel gets on your clothing, change clothing.
• Do NOT smoke near fuel or when refuelling.
  • Always shut off the engine before refuelling.
• Do NOT refuel a hot engine.
• Open the fuel cap carefully to allow any pressure build-up in the tank to release slowly.
  • Always refuel in well-ventilated areas.
• Always check for fuel leakage. If fuel leakage is found, do not start, or run the engine until all leaks are fixed.

General Carbon-Monoxide Safety

• Using a combustion engine indoors CAN KILL IN MINUTES. Engine exhaust contains carbon-monoxide – a poison you cannot smell or see.
• Use combustion engines OUTSIDE only, and far away from windows, doors, and vents.

General Equipment Use and Care

• Keep packaging away from children and pets, potential risk of suffocation or choking.
• The equipment is designed for domestic use only.
• Handle the equipment safely and carefully.
• Before use, inspect the equipment for misalignment or binding of moving parts, loose components, damage, or any other condition that may affect its operation. If damaged, have the equipment repaired by an authorised service centre or technician before use.
• Prevent unintentional starting of the equipment - ensure equipment and power switches are in the OFF position before connecting or moving equipment. Do not carry equipment with hands or fingers touching any controls. Remove any tools or other items that are not a part of the equipment from it before starting or switching on.
• Do not force the equipment. Use the correct equipment for your application. Equipment will perform better and be safer when used within its design and usage parameters.
• Use the equipment and accessories etc. in accordance with these instructions, considering working conditions and the work to be performed. Using the equipment for operations different from those intended could result in hazardous situations.
• Always keep equipment components (engines, hoses, handles, controls, frames, housings, guards etc) and accessories (cutting tools, nozzles, bits etc) properly maintained. Keep the equipment clean and, where applicable, properly lubricated.

General Electrical Safety

• Inspect electrical equipment, extension cords, power bars, and electrical fittings for damage or wear before each use. Repair or replace damaged equipment immediately.
• Ensure all power sources conform to equipment voltage requirements and are disconnected before connecting or disconnecting equipment.
• When wiring electrically powered equipment, follow all electrical and safety codes.
• Always use a Residual Current Device (RCD) (GFCI) / Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker / Safety Switch when operating this item (electrical items only).
• High voltage / high current power lines may be present. Use extreme caution to avoid contact or interference with power lines. Electrical shock can be fatal.

• Do NOT bypass the ON/OFF switch and operate equipment by connecting and disconnecting the electrical cord.

• Replacement parts must be original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to ensure equipment safety is maintained.
• Do NOT attempt any maintenance or repair work not described in this manual.
• After use, the equipment and components may still be hot – allow the equipment to cool and disconnect spark plugs and/or electrical power sources and/or batteries from it before adjusting, changing accessories, or performing repair or maintenance.
• Do NOT adjust while the equipment is running.
• Perform service-related activities in suitable conditions, such as a workshop.
• Replace worn, damaged or missing warning/safety labels immediately.

• Pay particular attention to accessories, nuts, bolts, screws, washers, caps, covers, loose parts, parts that could be removed or break off, pieces of packaging, staples, tape etc.
• In the case of any doubt, secure the item of concern in an appropriate manner, or completely remove the possibility of access by a baby or child.

Electric Scooter Safety

• The Scooter is a recreational product. Before mastering riding skills, you need to practice. The supplier is not responsible for any injuries or damage caused by a rider's inexperience or failure to follow the instructions in this user manual.
• You can reduce risks by following all the instructions and warnings in this user manual, but you cannot eliminate all risks. Remember that whenever you ride the Scooter, you risk injury from loss of control, collisions, and falls. When entering public spaces, always comply with the local laws and regulations.
• As with other vehicles, faster speeds require longer braking distance. Sudden braking on low traction surfaces could lead to wheel slips or falls. Be cautious and always keep a safe distance between you and other people or vehicles when riding. Be alert and slow down when entering unfamiliar areas.
• Always wear a helmet when riding. Use an approved bicycle or skateboard helmet that fits properly with the chin strap in place and provides protection for the back of your head.

- Do not attempt your first ride in any area where you might encounter children, pedestrians, pets, vehicles, bicycles, or other obstacles and potential hazards.

- Respect pedestrians by always yielding the right of way. Pass on the left whenever possible. When approaching a pedestrian from the front, stay to the right and slow down. Avoid startling pedestrians. When approaching from behind, announce yourself and slow down to walking speed when passing. Please obey local traffic laws and regulations if situation is different.

- In places without laws, comply with the safety guidelines outlined in this user manual. The supplier is not responsible for any property damage, personal injury/death, accidents, or legal disputes caused by violations of the safety instructions.

- Do not allow anyone to ride your Scooter on his/her own unless they have carefully read this user manual and followed the New Rider Tutorial in the App. The safety of new riders is your responsibility. Assist new riders until they are comfortable with the basic operation of the Scooter. Make sure each new rider wears a helmet and other protective gear.

- Before each ride, check for loose fasteners and damaged components. If the Scooter makes abnormal sounds or signals an alarm, immediately stop riding. Diagnose your Scooter via the App and call your local dealer/distributor for servicing.

- Always be alert! Scan both far ahead and in front of your Scooter - your eyes are your best tool for safely for avoiding obstacles and low traction surfaces (including, but not limited to, wet ground, loose sand, loose gravel, and ice).

- To reduce risk of injury, you must read and follow all "CAUTION" and "WARNING" notices in this user manual. Do not ride at an unsafe speed. Under no circumstance should you ride on roads with motor vehicles. The manufacturer recommends riders be 14+ years old. Always follow these safety instructions:

• People who should not ride the Scooter include:

- Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

- Anyone who suffers from any diseases that puts them at risk if they engage in strenuous physical activity.

• Anyone who has problems with balance or with motor skills that would interfere with their ability to maintain balance.
• Anyone whose weight is outside the stated limits (see Specifications).
• Pregnant women.

• Riders under the age of 18 years old should ride under adult supervision.

• Comply with local laws and regulations when riding this product. Do not ride where prohibited by local laws.
  • To ride safely, you must be able to clearly see what is in front of you and you must be clearly visible to others.

• Do not ride in the snow, in the rain, or on roads which are wet, muddy, icy, or that are slippery for any reason. Do not ride over obstacles (sand, loose gravel, or sticks). Doing so could result in a loss of balance or traction and could cause a fall.
• Do not attempt to charge your Scooter if the charger or the power outlet is wet.
• As with any electronic device, use a surge protector when charging to help protect your Scooter from damage due to power surges and voltage spikes. Only use supplier's charger. Do not use a charger from any other different product models.
• Use only supplier-approved parts and accessories. Do not modify your Scooter. Modifications to your Scooter could interfere with the operation of the Scooter and could result in serious injury and/or damage and could void the warranty.
• Never lean forward while riding.
• Always ensure your centre of balance is toward the rear of the scooter to reduce chances of accident during braking or impact with an obstacle or a rough or soft surface.
• If local laws and regulations allow riding in areas that could be exposed to other people or vehicles, do not exceed a speed of walking pace while in these areas.
• WARNING! AUTOMATIC OR UNINTENDED ACTIVATION OF CRUISE CONTROL (IF EQUIPPED) WHILE CORNERING AT THE LIMITS OF THE VEHICLE OR RIDER, OR DURING PERFORMANCE OF A WHEELIE, COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF CONTROL, ACCIDENT, INJURY OR DEATH.

Charging Safety

When charging the scooter, please pay attention to the following points:

• Ensure that it is charged in dry and clean environment, the input voltage should be between 110-240V, and the other end is connected to the charging port of the scooter.
• A red LED light indicates the scooter is being charged.
• If the charger LED light is green, charging is complete.
• For your safety, don't operate the scooter while charging.
• Disconnect the scooter from the charger when the charging is completed.

Other Safety Reminders

• Read and understand all product and safety warnings.
• Do not modify the scooter.
• Before each use, check and confirm that all protectors and pads are in place and in optimal condition; that the brake system works properly; and that the tyres are in good condition with sufficient tread remaining.
• Do not perform races, stunts, or other manoeuvres that can cause loss of control.
• Do not allow hands, feet, hair, body parts, clothing, or similar items to come into contact with moving parts, wheels, or the powertrain while the engine is running.
• Obey all local laws and regulations on scooter use and traffic.
• Do not ride at night. Use only in adequate daylight and optimal visibility conditions.
• Do not operate if you have heart conditions, are pregnant, have head, back, or neck ailments, or have had previous surgeries in those areas of the body; and do not operate if you have any physical or mental condition that may impair your ability to ride safely.
• Always use safety equipment such as a helmet, knee, and elbow pads. Always wear a helmet when riding your scooter and keep the chin strap securely fastened. Always wear tennis shoes.
• Wear appropriate clothing, reflective if possible.
• Avoid sharp shocks, drain grates, and sudden surface changes.
• Avoid streets and surfaces with water, sand, gravel, dirt, leaves, and other debris. Wet weather affects traction, braking, and visibility.
• Rechargeable batteries and chargers can cause fire or explosion. Use only the original battery and charger. Using rechargeable batteries and chargers from any other product may result in overheating, fire, or explosion. Never use the charger or batteries with another product.
• Tampering with or modifying the electrical circuit system can cause shock, fire, or explosion and permanently damage the system. Exposed wiring and circuitry in the charger can cause electric shock. Always keep the charger case closed.
• Contact between the positive and negative terminals can cause fire or explosion. Avoid direct contact between the terminals. Holding the battery by the cables or charger can damage the battery and may cause a fire. Always handle the battery by its case.
• Battery liquids can cause fire or electric shock. Keep all liquids away from the battery and keep the battery dry.
• Stop using the scooter if the battery starts to smell, overheat, or leak. Do not touch any leaking materials or breathe vapours. Seek immediate medical assistance if you are exposed to any substance emitted by the battery.
• This battery contains dangerous substances. Never open the battery or insert anything into it. Lithium-ion batteries are considered hazardous materials. Follow all federal, state, and local laws regarding the recycling, handling, and disposal of lithium-ion batteries.

1. Unscrew the assembly at the top.
2. Pop the handlebar in place.
3. Insert the quick release lever
4. Tighten the quick release clamp back down.

1. Open the quick release on the seat post mount on the frame and insert the seat post. Adjust the seat height to a comfortable position and then close the quick release.

1. Remove the 4 mounting bolts from the basket above the rear fender. Fit the basket and secure it in place with the screws you just removed.

How to Fold Your Scooter

Make sure the scooter is OFF. Hold the front post, loosen the locking lever, and lower the steel tube. Position the steel tube horizontally and secure it by inserting a hook through the special ring located on the rear wheel fender.

To assemble the scooter, loosen the steel tube lock from the hook on the fender, then raise it to an upright position and lock the lever.

Personal Safety

WARNING! Driving the scooter without protective equipment, clothing, shoes, or a helmet can cause serious injury or death. Always wear protective gear, clothing, and a helmet when riding your scooter.

• Wear easily visible colours and, if possible, reflective clothing.
• Wear clothing suitable for the weather conditions.
  • Always wear sports shoes or similar footwear.
• The use of protective equipment, such as knee and elbow pads, is highly recommended.
• A properly fitted helmet, approved by ASTM or SNELL, must be worn at all times.

Proper Use of a Helmet

The use of an ASTM or SNELL certified helmet is recommended. The helmet must be worn at all times when riding your scooter.

  • Have good ventilation
• Fit correctly
• Cover the forehead

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

Single press the power button to turn ON, and single press again to turn OFF.

Switch Modes:

Single press the M button to change between mode 1, mode 2, and mode 3. Different modes correspond to different speed limits.

Switch ON/OFF Lights:

Double press the M button to switch the lights ON, and double press again to switch them OFF.

Switch the Mileage Area Display Content:

By default, single mileage is displayed. Long press the function button (for more than 3 seconds) to switch the display content in the mileage area: Cumulative mileage (ODO) -> Single mileage (TRIP) -> Battery voltage (UXXX) -> Failure code (ERR).

Charging the Scooter

WARNING! DO NOT CHARGE IF THE CHARGE PORT OR POWER CORD IS WET. DO NOT CHARGE OR USE YOUR BATTERY IF IT IS DAMAGED OR WET. CLOSE THE CHARGING PORT COVER WHEN NOT CHARGING.

ATTENTION: Monitor battery usage when in use, the scooter may suddenly slow down as the battery charge reduces.

1. Open the charging port cover.
2. Insert the charging plug.
3. Close the charging port cover when finished.

When the charger light is red, it indicates that the scooter is charging. When the charger light is green, it indicates that charging is complete.

Learning to Ride

Folding/Unfolding

To fold the scooter, one must first slide the folding lever lock up to release it. Then, disengage the folding lever from the steering stem and smoothly move the stem towards the rear wheel.

To unfold the scooter, simply move the steering axis to an upright position. With one hand, hold the shaft in that position while locating the folding lever with the other hand. Close the lever by pushing it hard towards the steering stem until it snaps into place.

Lithium Battery Care and Maintenance

Top 3 Battery Care Requirements

1. Charge battery before first use. The battery may arrive with some charge, regardless of this the battery must be charged for 4 - 6 hours on the initial charge and for each subsequent charge.

2. Charge battery immediately when it is depleted. Do not store a depleted battery. This will permanently impact the life of the battery. If the battery is going to be stored for a period of time, fully charge the battery before storing.

To ensure the battery maintains optimum performance, follow the guidelines outlined below.

• For best results, charge batteries in temperatures between 10°C and 30°C
- When battery is charged, disconnect the charger from the power supply and remove the battery from the charger.
- If a battery is stored or otherwise unused for an extended period, and the battery has no charge remaining when you check it, consider it to be damaged. Do not attempt to recharge it or to use it. Replace it with a new battery.
• Use only with the battery charger specified by the manufacturer.

- Ensure that the battery charger electrical cord is not subjected to damage or stress. Do not operate the battery charger if it has a damaged electrical cord or plug.

- Do not use the charger in wet areas or expose it to rain or water.

- The typical estimated life of a Lithium-Ion battery is about two to three years or 300 to 500 charge cycles, whichever occurs first. One charge cycle is a period of use from fully charged, to fully discharged, and fully recharged again.

- Explosion hazard – protect the battery against heat, for example, direct sunlight and fire. Do not store batteries in vehicles or locations subject to heat.

- Batteries can explode in the presence of an ignition source, such as a pilot light. To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, never use any cordless product in the presence of open flame. Exploding batteries can propel debris and chemicals.

- Do not open the battery – danger of short-circuiting and/or explosion.

- Do not attempt to destroy or disassemble the battery pack or remove any of its components.

- Do not touch the battery terminals with metal objects and/or body parts as short-circuit and/or personal injury may result.

- Explosion hazard – do not open and/or short-circuit the battery.

- Poison hazard – battery leakage (liquid ejection). Under extreme conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery – avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, immediately seek medical attention, and flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, immediately seek medical attention, flush with clean water for at least 10 minutes. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.

- Dispose of non-serviceable batteries in an environmentally responsible manner and according to local regulations.

Failure to adhere to the requirements above may result in the battery becoming inoperative or battery life being reduced. In extreme cases or abuse, battery overheating, or fire may result.

DANGER - BATTERY CHARGING, USE AND STORAGE

Like mobile phones, laptops, cordless vacuum cleaners etc, this product may contain or be related to a lithium ion battery pack (lithium ion batteries and lithium ion battery related items only). Lithium ion batteries allow fast charging and high capacities, however care must be taken to reduce chances of a fault, and increase safety in case a fault occurs. Catastrophic incidents involving lithium ion batteries have a tendency to result in large amounts of smoke and fire. Be sure to follow the points below to reduce the likelihood of danger whenever you use, charge or store any lithium ion battery.

• Never charge a battery that has been damaged or subjected to a forceful impact.
• Never charge a battery that has been exposed to moisture or water.
• Never charge a battery with a charger that wasn't supplied with the battery.
• Never use a battery in a device that it wasn't specifically designed for.
• Never use a battery with a modified or damaged device.
• Never modify the battery, product, charger, circuitry or wiring.
• Never charge a battery in an exit path that may be used by people to leave a room or building in case of an emergency, for example, the hallway or foyer of a residence.
• Never charge a battery in an area or building that doesn't have the recommended number of working smoke detectors that have been tested in accordance with local guidelines.
• Never charge a battery when the battery or charger is displaying a problem or charging incorrectly.
• Always charge batteries on a non-combustible surface, for example, on a concrete floor.
• Always charge batteries at least 3m away from anything combustible, such as floors, wall surfaces, furniture, storage shelves etc.
• Always charge batteries in an open area (outside if possible) ensuring the battery and charger are away from moisture and water.
• Always disconnect batteries from the charger after charging.
• Always remove or disconnect batteries from the device/product when not in use.
• Always ensure batteries are charged under adult supervision. Do not charge unattended. Do not charge batteries while no one is home or while people are sleeping.
• Keep batteries away from heat and moisture.
• Damaged batteries should be disposed of through your local e-waste collection service.
• Avoid mixing and matching chargers. Unplug products when fully charged, and charge batteries in a cool, dry place away from combustible materials like beds, lounges, or carpet.
• During charging and use, check your lithium-ion batteries for overheating, signs of swelling, leaking, or venting gas. Immediately stop using your product if these signs are present.
• Allow batteries to cool after use and before charging.

Maintenance

Adjusting the Brakes

If a brake is too tight: Use an MS hexagon wrench and tighten the screws counterclockwise on the brake disc tensioner pulley. Slightly shorten the length of the rear brake cable, then tighten the tensioner pulley.

If the brake is too loose: Loosen the idler pulley, pull on the brake cable to slightly increase the length, and then tighten the idler pulley.

Adjusting the Steel Tube

Using an MS hex key, tighten the two screws near the folding mechanism.

Flat Rear Tyre

To pump up a flat rear tyre, connect a connecting tube to the tyre's valve. First, remove the valve cap, then squeeze the valve pin and start pumping.
