Thank you for having purchased the Innoliving Sandwich Maker INN-874. Before use, read the instruction carefully and keep this manual safe for future references.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

- Before connecting the unit, make sure that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance. The rating label is on the product.

- Keep all packing material (plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene, etc.) out of reach of the children, since they are potential sources of danger and must be disposed of as provided by law.

- During use, place the products on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface.

- Do not place the appliance on or near heat sources, electric elements, or in a heated oven. Do not place the product on other appliances.

- Do not use the appliance near walls and curtains.

- Do not use the product outdoors.

- Close supervision is necessary if the unit is used near children. Keep the product and its power cord out of reach of children under 8 years of age. Keep the product out of reach of animals during use.

- Never leave the product unattended during use. This product can be used by children older than 8 years old and people with reduced physical, mental or sensory capacity, or lack of experience and knowledge only if under supervision or if they received instructions regarding the safe use of the equipment

HOW TO USE

Before use, remove any labels on the plates.

Make sure that the cooking plates are clean and free of dust. If necessary, clean with a damp cloth.

At first use, you might notice the spill of a thin line of smoke. This is only due to the heating of some components.

Preheating

Place the appliance on a flat surface. Slide the hook closure (4) to open the plate.

Gently grease the plates with butter or cooking oil.

Insert the plug into a socket. The red light (2) and the green light (1) will light up.

Keep the plate closed during the preheating phase until the green "Ready to use" light (1) is switched off.

Operation

• When the green light goes off, the sandwich maker is ready for use.
• Place the toast in the bottom plate and close the plates, squeezing slightly until the hook is closed (4). Be careful not to touch the hot parts of the appliance.
  • The cooking of the toast is usually effected within 3-5 minutes.
• Use a non-metallic tool (such as a wooden spatula) to remove the toast from the plates. Do not use sharp or abrasive kitchen utensils.
• Disconnect the product from the power supply after use.
• Note: During cooking, the green light indicating when the appliance is ready to cook will turn on and off to keep the appliance at the correct temperature.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before proceed with any cleaning or maintenance operation, disconnect the appliance from the power supply and let the appliance to cool completely down.

Avoid using sharp metal tools or abrasive products as they may damage the coating of the plates.

Remove any residual oil from the plates using a sheet of kitchen paper.

Use a wooden or plastic spatula to remove any remaining food residues on the cooking plates.

Do not use sharp or abrasive tools.

Clean the cooking plates with a soft cloth or damp sponge.

Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.

Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

The unit can also be stored vertically.
