IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

- Before using the unit, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the convenience outlet (230Va.c.).
- Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be replaced with the same type and size, bring the unit to the nearest lmarflex authorized service center.
- Do not use a two-way socket with another appliance.
- Do not place the food steamer near gas stove or electric burner.
- Put the unit on stable surface; keep it away from the edge of counter to avoid accident.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance is not intended to use by person (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
- To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the base in water.
- Unplug the unit from the convenience outlet before cleaning.
- Do not use the food steamer other than its intended use.
- For household use only; not intended for any business purposes.
- Save this instruction manual for future reference.

HOW TO USE:
Before using the item:
- Using warm water and liquid detergent, wash all the removable parts and the inside of the water tank.
- Rinse and dry.

Note:
- Do not add anything to the water in the reservoir.
- It is advisable to use cold water instead of hot water.

Note:
- The clear ring will only fit into its designated steaming tray. (Bottom, Middle, Top) should match in each container.

- Place the stackable container accordingly and place the cover on the top of TOP container.

- Plug the socket into a convenience outlet.
- Rotate the timer knob based on the desired time and the light indicator will turn ON. Steamer will begin cooking.

- When cooking is done, the light indicator will turn OFF and will hear a bell sound. The unit will automatically turn OFF.

- Remove the stackable container after use.
Note:
- Do not remove the drip tray until the unit has totally cool down.
How to Refill Water Reservoir

How to Cook Rice:

Add rice and water into the bowl in equal proportion.

Place the rice bowl into the steaming tray.

Plug the socket into a convenience outlet.

Rotate the timer knob based on the desired time and the light indicator will turn ON. Steamer will begin cooking.

When cooking is done, the light indicator will turn OFF and will hear a bell sound. The unit will automatically turn OFF.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
How to clean the Water Tank:
- Unplug the appliance.
- Let the steamer it cools down before cleaning.
Cleaning the unit:
• Empty the water tank and clean with a damp cloth.
- Removable parts can wash with soap and water.
Note: Some natural-colored juices from food such as carrots, beetroot etc., may stain the drip tray and water tank. This is normal and will not affect its performance. To avoid staining, wash these two parts immediately after every use. You may also use mild bleach if necessary and rinse thoroughly.
Removing scale build-up from the unit:
- Fill the water tank with cold water up to "max" level.
- Do not heat up (to avoid any descaling odor). Leave it on to descale.
- Rinse the inside of the water tank with warm water several times.
