AIR FRYER COOKING & MAINTENANCE TIPS
- Press the POWER icon to unlock the control panel. You can either select a pre-set cooking program using the MENU button or manually set the temperature and time.
- Clean accessories with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge before first use. Cooking baskets and grill inserts are also dishwasher safe. Wipe inside and outside of the appliance with a clean, dry cloth. Make sure all stickers and packing labels are removed.
- Cooking baskets, grill inserts and the inside of the appliance have a non-stick coating. Do not use metal utensils or abrasive cleaning materials to clean them, as this may damage the non-stick coating.
- Before first use, preheat the appliance without any food for 15 minutes.

- Before use, place the grill inserts inside the cooking baskets.
- After use, clean the top heating element and any internal grease. Residual grease may result in smoke.
- Smaller ingredients require a slightly shorter cooking time than larger ingredients. Shaking or flipping foods during cooking can help prevent uneven cooking.
- Do not fill the cooking baskets with oil or grease. This appliance uses hot air circulation to cook food.
• Overheating protection: The appliance will not function if overheating protection is activated. Unplug and wait for an appliance to completely cool before restarting.

COOKING TIPS
- Smaller ingredients usually require a slightly shorter cooking time than larger ingredients.
- A larger amount of ingredients only requires a slightly longer cooking time, and a smaller amount of ingredients only requires a slightly shorter cooking time.
- Shaking smaller ingredients halfway through the preparation time optimizes the result and can help prevent unevenly fried ingredients.
- Add some oil to fresh potatoes for a crispy result. Fry your ingredients in the air fryer within a few minutes after you add the oil.
- Snacks that can be prepared in an oven can also be prepared in the air fryer.
- Use pre-made dough to prepare filled snacks quickly and easily. Premade dough also requires a shorter cooking time than homemade dough.
- Place a baking tin or oven dish in the air fryer basket if you want to bake a cake or quiche or if you want to fry fragile ingredients or filled ingredients.
HOW TO SHAKE?
Some ingredients require shaking halfway through the cooking time.
-
To shake the ingredients, pull the cooking basket out of the fryer by the handle (the fryer will automatically pause) and carefully shake the ingredients.
-
Slide the basket back into the air fryer. The fryer will automatically continue to work.
HOMEMADE CHIPS
For best results, we advise to use pre-made frozen chips. If you want to make homemade chips, follow the steps below:
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into sticks.
- Soak the potato sticks in a bowl for at least 30 minutes, take them out and dry them with a paper towel.
- Pour 12 tablespoon of olive oil in a bowl, add the potato sticks on top and mix until the sticks are coated with oil.
- Remove the sticks from the bowl with your fingers or a kitchen utensil so that excess oil stays behind in the bowl. Put the sticks in the basket.
* Note: Do not tilt the bowl to put all the sticks in the cooking basket in one go, to prevent excess oil from ending up on the bottom of the pan.
- Fry the potato sticks according to the instructions.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely before handling, cleaning or storing.
Wash all accessories in warm soapy water after every use.
Note: the basket and the grill insert are dishwasher safe.
The inside of the air fryer can be cleaned with hot water, a mild detergent and a non-abrasive sponge. Wipe the outer housing body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use detergents or cleaners on the outside of the appliance.
Tip: If food is stuck to the grill insert or the bottom of the basket, fill the basket with hot water and some washing-up liquid. Put the grill insert in the basket and let them soak for approximately 10 minutes.
