Frequently Asked Questions - ATH900X Artusi

How do I install the Artusi ATH900X range hood?
Installation should be done by a qualified professional. Ensure the hood is mounted at least 75 cm above gas cooktops or 65 cm above electric cooktops. Use the included template and fixings. For ducted mode, connect to a 150 mm duct; for recirculation, install charcoal filters.
How do I clean the grease filter?
Remove the aluminum mesh filter and wash it in warm soapy water or in the dishwasher. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling. Clean every 2-3 months or more often with heavy use.
Can the hood be used in recirculation mode?
Yes, you can use it in recirculation mode by adding optional charcoal filters (model ACF150). The hood will then filter and recirculate air back into the kitchen.
How do I replace the charcoal filter?
Charcoal filters should be replaced every 6-12 months depending on usage. Remove the grease filter, then slide out the charcoal filter and install a new one. Ensure the filter is properly seated before replacing the grease filter.
The hood is noisy. What can I do?
Check if the hood is properly installed and not vibrating against cabinets. Ensure filters are clean and not clogged. Use lower speed settings for quieter operation. If noise persists, contact customer service.
Can I control the hood remotely?
No, the Artusi ATH900X does not have remote control. It is operated via manual push buttons on the front panel.
What type of light bulbs does the hood use?
The hood uses integrated LED lights. They are non-replaceable as a user; if the LED fails, the entire lighting unit may need to be replaced by a professional.
How do I adjust the speed settings?
Press the speed buttons on the control panel. There are three normal speeds and a boost function for maximum extraction. The LED indicators show the current speed.
Is the hood compatible with an induction cooktop?
Yes, the hood works above any type of cooktop, including induction. Ensure the installation height meets safety requirements (minimum 65 cm for electric/induction).
Where can I find spare parts for the ATH900X?
Spare parts such as filters, LED units, and control boards can be ordered through Artusi customer service or authorized dealers. Refer to the user manual for part numbers.
