What is the maximum capacity of the Esatto EVD700W dryer?
The maximum load is 7 kg of dry textiles. Do not exceed this to ensure safe and efficient drying.
How do I clean the lint filter?
Clean the door filter after each cycle. Open the door, pull the filter straight up, open it, and remove lint by hand or under water. Ensure the filter is completely dry before reinstalling. Never operate the dryer without the filter.
Why is my dryer not heating?
The safety auto-off switch may have tripped due to overheating. Wait 10 minutes for cooling, then press the safety reset button located on the backboard. Common causes: clogged lint filter or blocked exhaust duct. Clean them regularly.
Can I install the dryer in a cupboard or small space?
The dryer requires adequate ventilation. Maintain at least 10 cm clearance from walls and ensure the exhaust air is discharged outdoors or into a well-ventilated area. Do not install behind a lockable or sliding door.
Can I mount the dryer on a wall?
Yes, the EVD700W can be wall-mounted using the included hanging brackets and expansion bolts. The wall must be solid concrete. Follow the installation instructions carefully, and use two people to lift the dryer.
What should I do if the dryer smells burnt?
Stop the cycle and unplug the dryer. Check the lint filter and exhaust duct for blockages. Clean them thoroughly. If the problem persists, contact Residentia Group support. Do not use the dryer until the issue is resolved.
Can I stack the dryer on a washing machine?
Only if you use a genuine Esatto stacking kit (sold separately). Without it, stacking is not allowed. The stacking kit must be installed by a qualified person to avoid hazards.
What types of fabrics can I dry?
Most cotton, synthetics, and blends are suitable if the care label permits tumble drying. Do not dry wool, silk, foam rubber, rubber-backed items, or items soiled with flammable substances. Always check care labels.
How do I change the door swing direction?
The manual does not specify reversible door. The dryer is designed with a fixed door hinge. If you need a different swing, consult a qualified technician.

Step 2: Hanging Procedure

1 Confirm the construction type of the wall and the suitable position for installation.

a. The wall must be solid concrete. Tip: Knock the wall with the shank end of a rubber hammer. If the wall is solid concrete, the sound will be crisp; if it is cavity wall, the sound will be muffled. For a cavity wall, talk to a professional builder before attempting installation.
b. Do not hang the dryer on the wall if the wall is not solid.
c. CAUTION: Ensure power cord and plug is accessible and reaches a power source.

2 The distance in front of the wall must be more than 150cm.

3 Paste the installation positioning paper to the solid concrete wall.

a. Draw a line with a level, and attach the positioning paper based on the line. Note: Ensure the screw holes do not overlap with power outlets or taps nearby.
b. The bottom edge of the positioning paper must be 45cm+ higher than the floor. Remove the adhesive paper behind the positioning paper, and paste the positioning paper to the wall horizontally.
