Frequently Asked Questions - EHPD7 Esatto

What is the maximum drying capacity of the Esatto EHPD7?
The maximum dry textile mass is 7.0 kg. Do not overload the machine as it may affect drying performance and safety.
How often should I clean the lint filter?
Clean the lint filter after each use. Accumulated lint blocks airflow, causing longer drying times and higher energy consumption.
How do I use the Child Lock feature?
While the dryer is running, press and hold the Anti-Crease and Delay buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The Child Lock LED lights up, disabling all buttons except On/Off. Repeat to unlock.
What does the Anti-Crease function do?
At the end of the drying cycle, the drum rotates periodically without heat for 30 minutes (default) or 120 minutes (if selected) to prevent creases. You can remove laundry during this phase.
Why is the 'Full' LED on and the dryer stopped?
The water container is full. Empty the container (located at the bottom) and press Start/Pause to resume drying. If the LED stays on, there may be a water pump or sensor fault.
Can I dry foam rubber or rubber-backed items?
No. Items like foam rubber, shower caps, waterproof textiles, or rubber-backed articles must not be dried in the tumble dryer as they pose a fire risk.
How do I set the Delay Start function?
Press the Delay button repeatedly to select a delay time (3H, 6H, 9H, or 12H). Then press Start/Pause. The dryer will begin after the set delay. Press Start/Pause again to pause the delay.
What should I do if the drying time is too long?
Check and clean the lint filter and water container. Ensure the heat exchanger is not blocked. Use a higher drying program or the timer program. Also ensure laundry is spun at high speed before drying.
How do I clean the heat exchanger?
Approximately every 2 months, open the maintenance cover, unscrew the locking levers, and remove the heat exchanger. Use a soft brush or sponge to remove fluff. Wear gloves and dampen the fluff for easier removal. Reinsert and close the cover.
What is the recommended installation position?
Place the dryer on a firm, level surface in a clean, well-ventilated room. Do not block air inlets or grilles. Keep it close to your washing machine. Do not install behind a lockable door or where the door opening is restricted.
