What should I do if the vacuum cleaner does not turn on?

First, check whether the power plug is securely inserted into the socket. Then verify that the socket is live. Finally, ensure the power switch on the cleaner is set to the on position.

Why is the suction power weak?

Weak suction can be caused by incorrect connection of the tube, handle, or hose. It may also be due to a blocked filter (sponge or HEPA) or a full dust bag. Clean or replace the filters and empty the dust bag as needed.

Why is dust escaping from the cleaner?

Dust escape usually indicates that the filter is not properly installed or is still wet. Ensure the HEPA filter and sponge filter are correctly positioned and completely dry before use.

What should I do if the vacuum makes an abnormal noise?

Immediately stop using the cleaner. Check the main brush, hose, and suction tube for blockages. Remove any obstructions before restarting. If the noise persists, contact a service center.

How do I replace the dust bag?

Open the dust cover by pressing the release button. Remove the full dust bag and dispose of it. Insert a new original Fakir dust bag into the holder, ensuring it is fixed securely. Close the dust cover until it clicks.

How do I clean the filters?

For the sponge filter, remove it and wash under running water (below 40°C). Let it dry for at least 24 hours before reinstalling. For the HEPA filter, tap it gently or clean with the dusting brush. Do not wash the HEPA filter. Reinstall when fully dry.

Can I use the vacuum to pick up liquids?

No, this vacuum is designed for dry cleaning only. Do not use it on wet surfaces or to pick up liquids, as this could cause electric shock or damage the appliance.

How do I rewind the power cord?

After use, press the cord rewind button with one hand while guiding the plug with the other to prevent whipping. Do not allow the plug to snap back uncontrolled.

What accessories are included with the Fakir Whisper?

The vacuum comes with an upholstery tool for furniture, a crevice tool for tight spaces, a dusting brush for delicate surfaces, a telescopic tube, and a main brush for carpets and hard floors.

Read these operating instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time. Keep the operating instructions in a safe place. Include these operating instructions when passing the appliance on to another user.

General Safety Information

Warning:

Your safety is important to us. To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, injury to person or damage when using your vacuum cleaner, follow basic safety precautions including the following:

• Read this manual before assembling or using your vacuum cleaner.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock. - Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
• Disconnect electrical supply before servicing or cleaning out brush area. Failure to do so could result in electrical shock or brush suddenly starting.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Hold plug when rewinding onto cord reel. - Do not allow plug to whip when rewinding.
• Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If cleaner is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water. Return it to a sears service center / department.
• Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run cleaner over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not leave cleaner when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before servicing.
• Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
• Do not handle plug or cleaner with wet hands.
• Do not put any objects into openings.
• Do not use with any opening blocked, Keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce airflow.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
• Do not use cleaner without dust bag and /or filters in place.

• Always change the dust bag after vacuuming carpet cleaners or freshener, powders and fine dust. These products clog the bag, reduce airflow and can cause the bag to burst. Failure to change bag could cause permanent damage to the cleaner.

• Do not use cleaner to pick up sharp hard objects, small toys, pins, paper clips, etc. they may damage the cleaner or dust bag.

• Do not use cleaner to pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as hot ashes, cigarette, matches.
• Do not use cleaner to pick up flammable or combustible liquids (cleaning fluid, gasoline, perfumes, etc.) or use in areas where they may be present. The fumes from these substances can create a fire hazard or explosion.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs. Do not put on chairs, table, etc. keep on floor.

Please deal with abnormal conditions according to the following methods. If the cleaner still cannot operate normally, please contact the store in which this product is bought or special maintenance stores.

Disposal

When the appliance has reached the end of its service life, in particular when malfunctions start occurring render the appliance unserviceable by pulling the mains plug out of the socket and cutting off the mains lead.

Dispose of the appliance in accordance with the applicable environmental regulations for your country.
