How do I clean the Oster BLSTMP-W00 blender?

Unplug the blender before cleaning. The motor base should be wiped with a damp, soft sponge and mild detergent. Do not immerse the base in water. All other parts (jar, lid, sealing ring, blade assembly) are dishwasher safe. Place the threaded bottom cap on the top rack only. Alternatively, wash in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry.

Can I blend hot liquids in this blender?

Take caution when pouring hot liquid into the blender as it could suddenly be expelled due to its high temperature. Always allow hot liquids to cool slightly before blending, and never fill the jar more than half full with hot liquids.

What is the maximum capacity of the jar?

The jar has a capacity of 6 cups (1.5 liters). Do not exceed this maximum fill level, especially when blending thick mixtures or ice.

How do I use the pulse function?

Select the low setting on the switch. Push the Pulse button (speed 4) and hold it down for the desired length of time. Release the button and allow the blade to stop completely before repeating.

How do I crush ice with this blender?

Select the high setting on the switch. Push the Ice Crush button (speed 8) and hold it down for the desired length of time. Release and allow the blade to stop. Repeat as needed. Crush up to 6 ice cubes or about 2 cups of ice at a time.

What should I do if the blender stops working?

First, ensure the blender is unplugged. Check that the jar is properly assembled and the lid is on. If the blades do not rotate, try selecting a higher speed. If the issue persists, do not operate the appliance. Contact the nearest Authorized Oster Service Center for examination, repair, or adjustment.

Can I put the blender jar in the dishwasher?

Yes, the jar, lid, sealing ring, and blade assembly are dishwasher safe. However, the threaded bottom cap should only be placed on the top rack. The motor base must never be immersed in water; clean it with a damp cloth only.

What is the warranty for this blender?

Why is the blade not spinning?

Ensure the jar is properly seated on the base and the lid is secured. If using a low speed, the blade may not move for very thick mixtures; try a higher speed. Also, check that the blender is not overloaded. Do not operate continuously for more than 3 minutes. If the problem continues, unplug and inspect for any obstructions or damage.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

ASSEMBLING YOUR BLENDER

1. Turn Jar upside down so the small opening is at the top. Place Sealing Ring over Jar opening.
2. Place Blade into Jar.
3. Place Threaded Bottom Cap on Jar and turn it clockwise to tighten.
4. Place Jar assembly onto base.

SELECTING THE SPEED

Slide switch to ▲ High or ▼ Low. Push desired speed and blend ingredients to desired consistency.

IMPORTANT: Do not operate blender continuously for more than 3 minutes.

Push off button "O" to stop the Blender and turn Blender off.

USING THE PULSE FUNCTION “^”

To use pulse, select the low ▼ setting on the switch.

Push the Pulse Button “—”(speed 4) and hold down for desired length of time.

Release the Pulse button “—” and allow Blade to stop. Repeat cycle as desired.

TIP: Refer to the "Guide For Processing Foods in Blender" located on page 5 for information on processing foods.

USING THE ICE CRUSH FUNCTION“”

To use Ice Crush, select the high ▲ setting on the switch.

Push the Ice Crush Button “ 🔍” (speed 8) and hold down for desired lenght of time. Release the Ice Crush Button “ 🔍” and allow Blade to stop.

Repeat cycle as desired.

BLENDING TIPS

• Put liquids in the Jar first, unless a recipe says otherwise.
• Crushing ice: Crush 6 ice cubes or approximately 2 cups of ice at a time.
• This Blender has been designed to gently process foods when operating at low speeds. If blades do not rotate during operation, simply choose a higher speed.
• Do not remove the Lid while in use. Remove Feeder Cap to add smaller ingredients. (Figure 5)
• Cut all firm fruits and vegetables, cooked meats, fish and seafood into pieces no larger than 1.8 cm (1/2 inch) to 2.5 cm (1 inch). Cut all kinds of cheeses into pieces no larger than 1.8 cm (1/2 inch).
• This Blender will not mash potatoes, whip egg whites or substitute dairy toppings, mix stiff dough or grind raw meat.

CARING FOR YOUR BLENDER AFTER USE

IMPORTANT: UNPLUG BEFORE CLEANING BASE and DO NOT IMMERSE THE BLENDER BASE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUIDS. Use a damp, soft sponge with mild detergent to clean the outside of the Blender base. All parts except for the Blender base are dishwasher safe. Threaded Bottom Cap are top rack dishwasher safe ONLY. Place Sealing Ring in bottom basket of dishwasher. You can also wash the parts in warm, soapy water. Rinse well and dry.

STORING YOUR BLENDER

After cleaning, reassemble Blade to Jar with Sealing Ring and Bottom Cap. Store Blender with Cover ajar to prevent container odor.
