How do I descale the Morphy Richards Express Steam 361000?
To descale, fill the tank with a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:3 ratio). Heat and steam for a few minutes, then let it sit for 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and steam again to remove residue. Repeat monthly or if steam output decreases.
Can I use tap water in the steam cleaner?
Yes, you can use tap water, but if you have hard water, it's recommended to use distilled or demineralized water to prevent scale buildup. Avoid adding any chemicals or cleaning agents.
What accessories are included with the Express Steam 361000?
The package includes a floor mop head for hard floors, a detail brush for corners and crevices, a window squeegee for glass, and a measuring cup for filling the tank.
How long does it take for the Express Steam 361000 to heat up?
It heats up in approximately 30 seconds. The indicator light will turn on when ready. You can start steaming immediately.
Is the steam cleaner safe for all surfaces?
It is safe for sealed hard surfaces like tile, laminate, vinyl, and glass. Avoid using on unsealed wood, waxed surfaces, or delicate fabrics. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
How do I clean the nozzle and accessories?
After use, allow the unit to cool. Remove accessories and rinse them under warm water. For stubborn debris, use a small brush. Wipe the nozzle with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing.
What is the steam pressure of this model?
The Express Steam 361000 generates steam at a pressure of 3 bar, which is sufficient for effective cleaning and sanitizing of most household surfaces.
Can I use the steam cleaner vertically?
Yes, the unit can be used vertically for steam cleaning items like curtains, mattresses, and upholstery with the appropriate fabric attachment (not included). Ensure the fabric can withstand steam.
How should I store the steam cleaner after use?
First, empty any remaining water from the tank. Allow the unit to cool completely. Wrap the cord around the storage hook. Store in a dry, upright position out of reach of children. Do not store with water in the tank.
What does the auto shut-off feature do?
The auto shut-off automatically turns off the heating element if the unit overheats or if the water tank runs dry. This prevents damage and ensures safety. Once cooled or refilled, it will reset automatically.
