These operating instructions are intended to enable the safe and proper handling and operation of the appliance. Read these operating instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time.
Keep the operating instructions in a safe place. Include these operating instructions when passing the appliance on to another user.
Liability We will accept no liability for damages resulting from failure
to comply with the operating instructions.
We cannot assume any liability in case the appliance is used for other purposes than its intended use or handled, repaired or serviced improperly.

This appliance fulfills the requirements of the Appliance and Product Safety Law (GPSG) and the EU Directives 2004/108/EC "Electromagnetic Compatibility" and 2006/95/EC "Low-Voltage Directive." The appliance bears the CE mark on the rating plate.
Intended use
• The appliance is constructed for household use only.
• Always disconnect the blender from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
- Switch off the appliance and disconnected from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts which move in use.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Do not use this appliance near water contained in basins like bathtubs, washbasins, etc.
- Do not use any abrasive substance for cleaning the appliance.

Important Safeguards
- When use electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
• Always unplug the appliance before assembling, disassembling, cleaning. - Before plugging into a socket, check whether your voltage corresponds to the rating label of the appliance.
- Don't plug the appliance into the power supply until it is fully assembled and always unplug before disassembling the appliance or handle the blade.
• Don't allow supervision. - Don't let the motor unit, cord, or plug get wet
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to an authorized Fakir Service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
- Don't let excess cord hang over the edge of the table or worktop or touch hot surface.

ATTENTION! ELECTRIC CURRENT!
- Incorrect voltage can destroy the appliance. Operate the appliance only if the voltage specified on the rating plate corresponds to the voltage in your household.
- The socket must be protected with a 16 A automatic circuit breaker.
- Use only extension cords designed for the power input of the appliance.

WARNING: DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
- Never touch the plug with wet hands.
- When unplugging the appliance, always pull directly on the plug and never on the power cord.
- Do not kink, pinch or run over the power cord and do not expose it to heat sources.
- If the power cord of this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or the manufacturer's customer service department or a person with similar qualifications to prevent any hazards.
- Do not put the appliance in operation if you detect any visible damage on the housing, if the power cord is defective or if you suspect a defect (e.g. after a fall).
- Do not use any damaged extension cords.

Repairs and maintenance may be performed only by trained technicians (e.g. Fakir customer service). Only original Fakir replacement parts may be used. Improperly repaired or serviced appliances may pose a danger to the user.

USAGE

Temperature control knob
The temperature of the grill plate can be adjusted. The Numbers on the temperature knob have following meaning:
1 = thermostat switched on
2 = keeping warm
3 - 4 = grilling with low temperature ( for fish etc.)
4 = grilling on medium temperature (for chicken etc.)
5 = grilling on max. temperature.
Control Lamp When the appliance is plugged in and the thermostat is adjusted,
the control lamp is shining. When the temperature is achieved, the lamp goes off.
Grill preparations
Thermostat is placed in giftbox seperately. Before start using your device you must fit the thermostat to right side of non stick plate. Plug the thermostat into thermostat hole on the right side of the plate. Now your device is ready to work.
Oil the grill slightly before the usage. This makes it more easy to turn the food. Then heat up the appliance for about 10 min by turning the temperature knob to the maximum level.

The food should be not frozen during grilling.

Please use the appliance only with the drip tray.

Never cut on the grill surface because the coating can be damaged.
During grilling the glass lid can be placed on the plate or can be hanged at the edge to be used as a wind shield.

CLEANING
Cleaning and maintenance
The appliance should be cleaned after each use. Unplug the appliance. The appliance should cool down a little and can be cleaned easier when it is not that hot. Use a damp cloth with a little bit of detergent to clean it. Resisting dirt should be covered with some oil, wait for about 5 min and try to remove it again with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Glass lid can be taken out.
Glass lid, Gril plate and oil drip tray can be washed in dishwasher.
You must remove the thermostat from grill plate before
washing. Thermostat is not washable.

WARNING!
Never immerse the thermostat in water!
Disassemble the device
To remove the glass lid from device, hold the lid with two hands by sides and pull up and towards to outside gently. To remove the grill plate, you must take off the thermostat first. Hold the thermostat tight and pull out. Then hold the handles by the two sides of grill and take out the grill plate. Remove the oil drip plate sitting underneath.
Assemble the device after cleaning
Replace the oil drip tray at the bottom of body. Replace the grill plate on body by holding from safe handles.
Replace your clean glass lid by fitting the two pins at the back side of the body.
End you plug the thermostat into the hole at the right side of the body.
Your device is ready for cooking again.

If at once you don't succeed
If the service life of the device has ended, in particular if functional disturbances occur, make the worn-out device unusable by cutting through the power cable.
Dispose of the device according to the environmental regulations applicable in your country.
Electrical waste must not be disposed of together with household waste. Bring the worn-out device to a collection center.
The packaging of the device consists of recycling-capable materials. Place these, sorted out according to material, in the collectors provided, so that recycling can be carried out on them.
For advice on recycling, refer to your local authority or your dealer
Dispose of used dust bag and filters in domestic waste.
