How do I activate the child lock?

Press and hold the lock symbol for 3 seconds until the indicator lights up.

Why does the hob turn off automatically?

The hob has an auto shut-off feature for safety. This activates after a period of inactivity or if no cookware is detected.

How do I clean the ceramic surface?

Use a soft damp cloth and a mild cleaner. Avoid abrasive sponges. For burnt residues, use a glass scraper.

What cookware is suitable for induction?

Only ferromagnetic pans (cast iron, stainless steel with magnetic base). Use a magnet to check.

How do I set the timer?

Select the cooking zone, press the timer button, then adjust the time with +/-. The zone will shut off when time expires.

What does the error code 'E0' mean?

E0 indicates no cookware or incompatible pan on the zone. Place a suitable pan or check the pan's base.

Can I install the hob myself?

Installation should be done by a qualified electrician due to high power requirements and safety regulations.

How do I activate the booster function?

Press the booster button on the desired zone. It will run at maximum power for up to 5 minutes.

USAGE

Temperature control knob

The temperature of the grill plate can be adjusted. The Numbers on the temperature knob have following meaning:

1 = thermostat switched on
2 = keeping warm
3 - 4 = grilling with low temperature ( for fish etc.)
4 = grilling on medium temperature (for chicken etc.)
5 = grilling on max. temperature.

Control Lamp When the appliance is plugged in and the thermostat is adjusted,

the control lamp is shining. When the temperature is achieved, the lamp goes off.

Grill preparations

Thermostat is placed in giftbox seperately. Before start using your device you must fit the thermostat to right side of non stick plate. Plug the thermostat into thermostat hole on the right side of the plate. Now your device is ready to work.

Oil the grill slightly before the usage. This makes it more easy to turn the food. Then heat up the appliance for about 10 min by turning the temperature knob to the maximum level.

The food should be not frozen during grilling.

Please use the appliance only with the drip tray.

Never cut on the grill surface because the coating can be damaged.

During grilling the glass lid can be placed on the plate or can be hanged at the edge to be used as a wind shield.

CLEANING

Cleaning and maintenance

The appliance should be cleaned after each use. Unplug the appliance. The appliance should cool down a little and can be cleaned easier when it is not that hot. Use a damp cloth with a little bit of detergent to clean it. Resisting dirt should be covered with some oil, wait for about 5 min and try to remove it again with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Glass lid can be taken out.

Glass lid, Gril plate and oil drip tray can be washed in dishwasher.

You must remove the thermostat from grill plate before

washing. Thermostat is not washable.

WARNING!

Never immerse the thermostat in water!

Disassemble the device

To remove the glass lid from device, hold the lid with two hands by sides and pull up and towards to outside gently. To remove the grill plate, you must take off the thermostat first. Hold the thermostat tight and pull out. Then hold the handles by the two sides of grill and take out the grill plate. Remove the oil drip plate sitting underneath.

Assemble the device after cleaning

Replace the oil drip tray at the bottom of body. Replace the grill plate on body by holding from safe handles.
Replace your clean glass lid by fitting the two pins at the back side of the body.
End you plug the thermostat into the hole at the right side of the body.
Your device is ready for cooking again.

If at once you don't succeed

If the service life of the device has ended, in particular if functional disturbances occur, make the worn-out device unusable by cutting through the power cable.

Dispose of the device according to the environmental regulations applicable in your country.

Electrical waste must not be disposed of together with household waste. Bring the worn-out device to a collection center.

The packaging of the device consists of recycling-capable materials. Place these, sorted out according to material, in the collectors provided, so that recycling can be carried out on them.

For advice on recycling, refer to your local authority or your dealer

Dispose of used dust bag and filters in domestic waste.
