Before using the foot pedi, read the user manual carefully. This particularly applies to the safety instructions. Failure to do so may result in personal injury or damage to the foot pedi.

Store the user manual for further use. Make sure to include this user manual when passing the foot pedi on to third parties.

Risk of injury due to quickly rotating parts of the device!

The rollers of the foot pedi rotate at a high speed. Long, flexible objects, hair and textiles could be drawn into the rotating rollers. This poses a risk of injury and damage to property.

- Keep the foot pedi away from hair, wigs and other long flexible objects, e.g. shoelaces, threads, textile fibres.

Improper handling of batteries increases the risk of explosion or battery leakage.

- Store the batteries in a cool, dry place. Never expose the batteries to excessive heat (e.g. direct sunlight) and never dispose of them in a fire.

- Only use batteries of the same type.

- Ensure the correct polarity when inserting the batteries. This is shown in the battery compartment. Incorrect installation may damage the foot pedi.

- Always use batteries of premium quality. Batteries of poor quality may leak and cause damage. Before inserting the batteries, make sure the contacts inside the battery compartment and on the battery itself are clean and intact. Clean them if necessary.

- Always replace all batteries in a battery compartment at the same time.

- Remove the batteries from the foot pedi if they are dead. Also remove the batteries if you do not intend on using the foot pedi for a prolonged period of time. Otherwise, the batteries may leak and cause damage.

- If the batteries leak, remove them immediately to prevent damaging the foot pedi. Do not remove the batteries with your bare hands or allow the battery fluid to come into contact with skin, eyes, or mucous membranes. Wear normal household washing gloves to do so. If, however, your skin has come into contact with the battery fluid, wash your hands immediately and consult a physician if necessary.

- Remove the batteries before disposing of the foot pedi.

Ask your physician before you use the foot pedi if:

• you suffer from allergies, a rash on your feet, skin irritation, or diseases of the skin such as eczema, flaky skin etc.,
• you suffer from diabetes or poor circulation,
• you wear a pacemaker,
• you are not sure whether the foot pedi is suitable for you.

If you are not cautious when opening the packaging with a sharp knife or other pointed object, you may quickly damage the foot pedi.

- For this reason, be very careful when opening it.

1. Take the foot pedi out of the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that all components and accessories have been received (see Fig. A and B).

First use

1. Check whether the foot pedi or any of the individual parts are damaged. If this is the case, do not use the foot pedi. Contact the manufacturer via the service address indicated on the warranty card.

Inserting and replacing the batteries

1. Open the battery compartment cover 9 and insert the two provided AA batteries. Pay attention to the correct battery polarity (+ or -).
   For battery replacement, remove the old batteries first.
2. Replace the battery compartment cover.

Selecting a roller

The foot pedi includes two mineral rollers, coarse and extra-coarse. Use the following table to select the roller that suits the intended application.

Extra-coarse roller 3	Dark gray	This roller has a coarser grain. Use this roller to remove very rough skin.
Coarse roller 4	Gray This roller has a finer grain. Use this roller to remove rough skin or to treat it after using the dark gray roller.

With particularly rough skin, we recommend you first use the dark gray roller and then the gray roller.

If you remove an inserted roller from the foot pedi while it is switched on, you may damage it.

- Never remove a roller from the foot pedi while it is still rotating or turned on. - Always switch the foot pedi off before you change a roller.

Removing a roller

1. Make sure the foot pedi is switched off by sliding the On/Off switch 5 back towards you.
2. Press the roller release button 7 on the back side of the foot pedi. This will release the inserted roller (3 or 4) (see Fig. C).
3. Pull the roller off of the foot pedi.

1. Mount the desired roller (3 or 4) onto the foot pedi.
2. Carefully push the roller completely onto the foot pedi until the latch audibly locks into place.
3. Gently shake the foot pedi to make sure the roller is secure. The foot pedi is now ready for use.

• Take your time, particularly if you are not
  yet experienced in handling the foot pedi.
• Always approach your skin with the rollers without pressure.
• Always take short breaks and check the result.

• Always use the correct roller for your intended application (see chapter "Selecting a roller").
  – The foot pedi and the rollers should not be used by multiple persons. This will avoid the transmission of diseases.

• Clean and dry the skin you intend to treat before using the foot pedi.

• Mount the desired roller (3 or 4) onto the foot pedi as described in the chapter "Removing and changing rollers."
• Take the protective cover 1 off.
• Press the lock button 6 on the On/Off switch 5.
• Slide the On/Off switch forward away from you to turn on the foot pedi.

The LED light 8 will come on while the foot pedi is in operation.

1. Apply gentle pressure while moving the roller over the parts of your skin you intend to treat.

The roller will stop if you apply too much pressure. In the process, only move it over your skin for two to three seconds at a time, then check the result.

Cleaning and maintenance

1. Once you are done treating your skin or if you would like to take a longer break, switch the foot pedi off by sliding the On/Off switch back towards you.
2. After you are done with your skin care, clean the foot pedi as described in the chapter "Cleaning and maintenance."

Water or other liquids that has penetrated the housing may cause a short circuit.

- Do not let water or other liquids penetrate the housing of the foot pedi.

If you do not clean the foot pedi properly, you may damage it.

- Do not use any aggressive cleaners, sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as knives, scrapers, etc. They could damage the plastic components.

- Only clean the rollers when they are dry. The rollers are not waterproof.

After every use, clean the foot pedi as follows:

1. Take the roller (3 or 4) off of the foot pedi as described in the chapter "Removing and changing rollers."
2. Carefully knock out any skin detritus over a sink.
3. Use a damp cloth to remove any remaining dust from the foot pedi.
4. Use the cleaning brush 2 to remove dust and skin from the used rollers.
5. Store the cleaned, dry foot pedi and rollers in a cool, dry location.

If the foot pedi is very dusty, you should also clean it as follows:

1. Remove the batteries as described in the chapter "Inserting and replacing the batteries."
2. Carefully knock out any skin detritus over a sink.
3. Use a damp cloth to remove any remaining dust from the rollers.
4. Wipe off the foot pedi with a damp cloth.
5. Dry the foot pedi with a dry cloth.
6. Let the foot pedi air dry completely overnight without the batteries.
7. Store the cleaned, dry foot pedi and rollers in a cool and dry location.

Storage

Replacing the rollers

Depending on how often they are used and the size of the areas of your skin treated, the rollers are only suitable for a small number of applications.

Always replace the rollers:

• if the rollers appear to be worn,

- if the rollers have cracks or are otherwise damaged.

Replace the rollers as described in the chapter "Removing and changing rollers." For best results, we recommend always replacing both rollers at the same time. Contact our after sales support for purchasing replacement rollers.

CAUTION!

Risk of acid burns and damage!

If you store the foot pedi for a prolonged period of time and the batteries are left in, they could leak and cause permanent damage. The battery acid (electrolyte) is corrosive and contact with it can burn skin.

- If you do not plan on using the foot pedi for a prolonged period of time, store the batteries separately. Store the batteries so that they are not accessible to children.

- If the batteries are leaking, remove them immediately to prevent damaging the foot pedi. Do not remove the batteries with your bare hands or allow the battery acid to come into contact with skin, eyes, or mucous membranes. Wear normal household rubber gloves to do so. If, however, your skin has come into contact with the battery fluid, wash your hands immediately and consult a physician if necessary.

- Wipe up any leaked battery acid with a damp cloth and dispose of it with your household waste.

1. Clean the foot pedi (see chapter "Cleaning the foot pedi").
2. Take the inserted batteries out of the battery
   compartment 10 and store them properly.
3. Put the foot pedi and accessories in the storage box until you are ready to use it again.
