How do I set up my personal profile on the HBFS-150-TSSL scale?

Press and hold the SET button. Use the ▲ or ▼ buttons to select a code (0-9) and confirm with SET. Then select gender, set age (10-80), and height (100-240 cm) using ▲/▼ and confirm each with SET.

Why does the scale show 'Err'?

The 'Err' display indicates either overload (weight over 150 kg) or a measurement error. Remove the load and restart. If the problem persists, replace the batteries.

Can I use this scale if I have a pacemaker?

No. The scale uses a low-tension electric current for body fat analysis. Persons with pacemakers should not use it.

How do I measure body fat and other composition?

After setting your profile, step on the scale with bare feet in contact with the electrodes. Stand still until the results appear. Weight is shown first, then body fat, hydration, muscle, bone, BMI, and calorie percentage.

What does 'Lo' on the display mean?

'Lo' indicates low battery. Replace all four AAA batteries with new ones.

How should I clean the scale?

Use a soft tissue with alcohol to clean the surface. Do not use soap or other chemicals, and avoid water, heat, and extreme cold.

What units does the scale support?

You can switch between kg, lb, and st by pressing the button at the bottom of the scale.

How do I store my personal data?

After setting your profile, it is stored automatically. The next time you use the scale, simply confirm your code and the scale will recall your settings.

Why are my body fat readings different at different times?

For accuracy, take measurements at the same time each day, preferably between 19:00-21:00. Hydration and other factors can affect readings.

What is the maximum weight the scale can measure?

The maximum capacity is 150 kg (331 lb). Exceeding this may damage the scale and show 'Err'.

Before using the appliance, please read carefully this instrucon manual and keep it for future reference.

This instrucon manual is designed to provide you with all required instrucons related to the installaon, use and maintenance of the appliance.

In order to operate the unit correctly and safety, please read this instrucon manual carefully before installaon and usage.

III. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Please read this instrucon manual carefully before using the scale.
2. Persons with pacemakers should not use this product.
3. Persons with metal implants will be unable to obtain accurate measurement.
4. This product is for home-use only.
5. If faulty, please return the product to the authorized service. The product has to be repaired only by authorized persons.
6. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or metal capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
7. This product adopts advanced BIA (bioelectrical impedance Analysis) technology to measure body fat, hydraon, muscle and bone percentage by sending a safe low-tension electric current through the body and the dience of electrical conducive property of body fat from other issues is analyzed and processed by the CPU to get the body component percentage, then the results are displayed on the LCD screen to oer you reference.
8. The scale is for family use only and not suitable for professional use. Body fat, hydraon, muscle, bone, BMI, calorie rates measured are for reference only. You should consult a doctor when you undertake any diet or exercise program.
9. Please check the battery if the scale malfuncons. Change a new piece if necessary. For other problems, please contact your dealer or the authorized service.
10. The scale is high precision measuring device. Never jump or stomp on the scale or disassemble it and please handle it carefully to avoid dropping when moving it.

IV. USING INSTRUCTIONS

Buons:

"SET" buon: power on, menu select and conrm;

“▲” button: Up

“▼” buon: Down

1. ● Find the 2X3V CR2032 baeries in the packet and the baery holder at the back of the scale, open the cover, install the baeries into the holder and cover it back (make sure the positive pole of the baeries are upwards).

1. Place the scale on hard and at surface. Clean oor is best.

1. Tap or knock the scale gently and it will get ready for use when the LCD screen shows "0.0kg" aer ashing "8888", and you can press the key at the boom side to switch dierent units (kg/lb/st lb).

1. Step on the scale gently, posion your feet evenly near the center and keep your body sll and straight unl the scale stabilizes your weight. The scale will be auto o within seconds if no further using.

For weight, body fat, hydraon muscle, bone, BMI and Calorie percentage:

➢ Press “SET” key for seconds to set your personal data. Press“▲”or “▼” key to select a number from 0 to 9 as your personal code when the code number ashes on the screen and once you reach your target number, please press “SET” to conrm.

➢ Press “▲” or “▼” to choose Male or female male when the gender symbol ashes on the screen and then press “SET” to confirm.

➢ Press “▲” or “▼” to reach your target age(10-80) when “age” and the number ash on the screen and then press “SET” to conrm.

➢ Press “▲” or “▼” to reach your target height (100-240cm) when the number and “cm” ash on the screen and then press “SET” to conrm.

Take o your shoes, take o your socks. Step on the scale gently and keep your bare feet in touch with the electrodes. Stand sll and erect to get your weight measured and your body fat, hydraon, muscle, bone percentage will be displayed respectively on the screen within seconds. These results will be repeated for three mes and the scale will be auto o if no further using.

- The personal data will be stored once you set. Just conrm your code when you use the scale again and your other informaon will be showed so there is no need to program them again.

To ensure accuracy, we suggest you take measurement at the same me every night (19:00-21:00).
Please change new batteries when "Lo" appears on the LCD which indicates that the baeries are out of power.

➢ "Err" showed on LCD indicates overload.

If body fat percentage is less than 5%, the screen will show "ErL", If more than 50% it will display "ErH" and "Err" indicates that the measuring makes an error.
Please take o shoes and socks and keep your bare feet in touch with the electrodes when taking body fat, hydraon, muscle and bone percentage measurement.
Please use so ssue with alcohol to clean the surface if it is dirty. No soap or other chemicals.
Keep it away from water, heat and extreme coldness.
