How do I install the battery in the doorbell?

Carefully pry off the back cover using a small flat-head screwdriver at the notch. Insert one 23A/12V battery (included) matching polarity. Reattach the cover ensuring the rubber seal is properly fitted to maintain water resistance.

How do I pair the doorbell with a receiver?

Press and hold the receiver's Chime Test button for 5 seconds until you hear two beeps. Then press the doorbell button within 15 seconds. You should hear one beep confirming pairing. Press Chime Test again to exit.

How do I change the chime?

Press the Chime Select button (next or previous) to cycle through 32 chimes. The chime that plays is automatically selected. Use the Chime Test button to hear the current selection.

How do I adjust the volume?

Use the Volume Increase and Volume Decrease buttons on the receiver to set the desired loudness.

What is the range of the doorbell?

The range is up to 50 meters (165 feet) line of sight. Typical range with obstacles is about 20 meters (66 feet).

Is the doorbell water resistant?

Yes, when the back cover is properly installed with the rubber seal, the doorbell is water resistant for outdoor use.

How do I mount the doorbell?

Clean and dry a flat, smooth surface. Attach the adhesive strip to the back of the doorbell (ensure it's not visible from front). Peel the other side and press firmly onto the surface.

Can I add more receivers or doorbells?

Yes, you can pair additional receivers or doorbells by following the pairing procedure. Each receiver can be paired with multiple doorbells.

What should I do if the doorbell stops working?

Check the battery in the doorbell and replace if needed. Ensure the receiver is plugged in. Try re-pairing as described. If issues persist, contact Swann Technical Support.

What is the warranty coverage?

Swann provides a 1-year limited warranty against defects in workmanship and material. Proof of purchase is required. The warranty does not cover incidental damages.

Operating Guide

Thank you for choosing the Swann Wireless Door Chime Twin Pack. It's an ideal unit for easily installing a doorbell without the hassle of wiring. Simply plug into a mains outlet, mount the doorbell where needed and you are ready to go!

Each receiver features 32 chimes and adjustable volume to suit your needs and can reach a distance of up to 50m/approx 165ft when there are no obstructions. Both receivers will sound each time the doorbell is pressed.

Doorbell receiver

- The doorbell receivers do not require any mounting or batteries. Simply plug them into any mains power socket and you are ready to go.

Batteries (doorbell unit)

• The doorbell requires 1 x 23A/12V battery (included).
• To install the battery, carefully pry off the back cover using a small, flat-head screwdriver in the small notch at the bottom of the doorbell and fit the battery as indicated inside the battery compartment.
• To finish, note the arrows on the cover and doorbell are facing the same direction and clip the back cover back onto the doorbell unit making sure the rubber seal is fitted properly to ensure the unit remains water resistant.

Mounting the doorbell

The doorbell is mounted by simply sticking it to a wall using the included adhesive strip(s).

• Peel off one side of the adhesive strip and attach it to the rear of the backing plate, ensuring none of it is visible from the front.
  • Find the area you want to mount the doorbell. Flat, smooth surfaces are ideal. Make sure they are clean and dry before mounting.
• Peel off the other side of the adhesive strip and attach the doorbell to the mounting surface.

Operating Guide

Setting the volume and chime

• To increase the volume, press the Volume Increase button.
• To decrease the volume, press the Volume Decrease button.
• To change chimes, press the Chime Select button (next) to move to the next chime or the Chime Select button (previous) to move to the previous chime. A chime will play each time you move forwards or backwards through the chimes. You do not need to confirm your selection. The chime playing is the chime selected and the one which will be heard when the doorbell is pressed.
• The Chime Test button can be used to check which tune is currently selected.

Pairing and Re-Pairing your Doorbell and Recievers

Your Wireless Doorbell comes with 1 doorbell and 2 paired receivers, but you can add more.

To pair a new Doorbell or Receiver:

1. Press and hold the Reciever's Chime Test button for 5 seconds, the chime will play until you hear two beeps.
2. Press the doorbell button within 15 seconds, you should instantly hear one beep from the receiver confirming the pairing.
3. Press the Chime Test button again to confirm the pairing and exit pairing mode.
4. Now when someone presses a paired button, all the receivers will chime.
5. To remove all pairing and reset the chime to the default, remove the Receiver from the power socket then press and hold the Chime Test button while plugging the receiver back in. You will then have to Re-Pair the Doorbell as shown above.

Swann Communications warrants this product against defects in workmanship and material for a period of one (1) year from it's original purchase date. You must present your receipt as proof of date of purchase for warranty validation. Any unit which proves defective during the stated period will be repaired without charge for parts or labour or replaced at the sole discretion of Swann. The end user is responsible for all freight charges incurred to send the product to Swann's repair centres. The end user is responsible for all shipping costs incurred when shipping from and to any country other than the country of origin.

The warranty does not cover any incidental, accidental or consequential damages arising from the use of or the inability to use this product. Any costs associated with the fitting or removal of this product by a tradesman or other person or any other costs associated with its use are the responsibility of the end user. This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product only and is not transferable to any third party. Unauthorized end user or third party modifications to any component or evidence of misuse or abuse of the device will render all warranties void.
