Frequently Asked Questions - W6810.0W Küppersbusch

How do I calibrate the washing machine before first use?
To calibrate, remove all accessories from the drum and close the door. Plug in the machine, turn it on, then press and hold the 'Delay' and 'Temp.' buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds until 't19' appears on the display. Press the Start/Pause button and wait until '*****' is shown. This ensures optimal performance by detecting laundry load.
What should I do if the machine shows error code E30?
Error E30 indicates the door is not closed properly. Open the door, check for any clothing stuck in the seal, then close it firmly and restart the cycle. If the error persists, disconnect the power and contact customer service.
How do I clean the detergent dispenser?
Press the release on the softener cover and pull out the drawer. Remove the softener cover and wash both parts under running water. Clean the recess inside the machine with a soft brush. Reassemble and push the drawer back. Perform this every 3 months.
How can I activate the Child Lock feature?
Press and hold the 'Spin' and 'Function' (or 'Speed') buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until a beep sounds and the child lock indicator lights up. The display alternates between 'CL' and remaining time. To deactivate, repeat the same button combination.
What type of detergent should I use for different fabrics?
Use heavy-duty detergent with bleaching agents for white cotton (e.g., Cotton, ECO 40-60). For coloured cottons, use colour detergent without bleach. Synthetic and easy-care fabrics require mild detergent. Wool requires special wool detergent. Always follow the dosage instructions on the detergent packaging.
How do I clean the drain pump filter?
First, ensure the machine has finished the cycle and is empty. Unplug the appliance and let the water cool. Open the lower cover cap, rotate the emergency drain hose 90° and remove the cap to drain water. Then unscrew the filter counterclockwise, remove any debris, and reinstall securely. Clean every 3 months.
Can I use the Reload function during a cycle?
Yes, if the water level is not above the drum edge and temperature is not too high. Press and hold 'Start/Pause' for 3 seconds. Wait for the drum to stop and the door to unlock. Add or remove clothes, close the door, and press Start/Pause again. Do not force the door open.
What does the AUTO DOSE feature do?
AUTO DOSE automatically dispenses detergent and fabric softener from built-in reservoirs. When the 'soft' or 'dete' light flashes, it means the corresponding compartment is low. Open the detergent box cover, add product up to the max line, and press the AUTO DOSE button to toggle function on/off.
How do I mute the buzzer on the machine?
Press and hold the 'Temp.' button for 3 seconds to mute the buzzer. To reactivate, press the same button again for 3 seconds. The setting remains until changed. Note that muting disables all sound signals.
What is the recommended temperature for the Drum Clean programme?
The Drum Clean programme operates at 90°C to sterilize the drum and remove bacteria. Do not add laundry. For best results, you may add a small amount of chlorine bleach. Run this programme regularly to maintain hygiene.

When this programme is performed, the clothes or other washing cannot be added. When proper amount of chlorine bleaching agent is put in, the barrel cleaning effect will be better. The customer can use this programme regularly according to the need.

1) The highest temperature reached by the laundry in the wash cycle for at least 5 minutes.
2) Residual moisture after the wash cycle in water content percent and the spin speed at which this was achieved.
3) The ECO 40-60 programme is able to clean normally soiled cotton laundry declared to be washable at 40^ C or 60^ C, together in the same cycle. This programme is used to assess the compliance with the regulation (EU) 2019/2014, (EU) 2019/2023, (EU) 2021/340, (EU) 2021/341.

The most efficient programmes in terms of energy consumption are generally those that perform at lower temperatures and longer duration.

Loading the household washer up to the capacity indicated for the respective programmes will contribute to energy and water savings.

Noise and remaining moisture content are influenced by the spinning speed: the higher the spinning speed in the spinning phase, the higher the noise and the lower the remaining moisture content.

Caution!

- If there is any break in the power supply while the machine is operating, a special memory stores the selected programme. The machine will continue the programme when the power supply is re-established.
