How do I remove and insert the grill plates?
To remove: open the upper cover, press the upper or lower plate release button, and pull the plate out. To insert: place the plate in position, press the release button, and push downward until it clicks. Always ensure the device is cool before handling plates.
Can the plates and drip tray be washed in a dishwasher?
Yes, both the removable plates and the grease drip tray are dishwasher safe. For hand cleaning, use a soft damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive pads or chemicals.
What is the maximum power consumption of the TSA3223?
The maximum power is 1500 W at a supply voltage of 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz.
How should I clean the grease drip tray?
Remove and empty the drip tray after each use. Wash it in warm soapy water or place it in the dishwasher. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth before reinserting.
Can I use the grill outdoors?
No, the Teesa TSA3223 is designed for indoor use only. It should be placed on a flat, stable surface away from water and moisture.
What does the green light on the grill indicate?
The green heating light turns on when the plates are heating and turns off when they have reached the selected temperature. It cycles on and off to maintain the set temperature.
Why does my grill emit a smell when first used?
An initial odor is normal during first use as the protective coating on the plates heats up for the first time. This should disappear after a few uses.
Can I use metal utensils on the non-stick plates?
No, never use metal, sharp, or abrasive utensils as they can damage the non-stick coating. Use wooden or plastic spatulas instead.
How do I adjust the grilling temperature?
Use the thermostat knob to set the desired temperature. The appropriate setting depends on the type and thickness of food. Wait until the green light goes off before placing food on the plates.
