OVATION D/A-Converter S

- A new massive cooling block takes over extensive and sound-relevant tasks:

• Intensive cooling stabilises the operating points of the voltage regulators, resulting in significantly reduced noise components on the supply voltage
• Cooling and temperature stabilisation of the D/A converters and the I/U (current/voltage) converters ensure minimum distortion and maximum dynamic range at the same time
• Electrical shielding of the oscillator: mutual interference with the surrounding circuit components is effectively excluded

- The massive cooling block leads to effective vibration damping and thus significantly reduces sound-influencing microphonic effects, i.e. micromovements of the components through which electrical current flows against each other are effectively prevented, so that the induction of interference between them is no longer possible.

Right from the start of the Ovation Line's construction, the realisation of a digital section was a top priority. This digital section should not only be the best in the world in terms of sound, but should also be future-proof.

The progress of developments in the digital world is fast-moving, that was already clear at the time. So what could be done to incorporate future developments?

The answer was obvious: the D/A converter section of the Ovation Line was designed to be modular, i.e. a hardware update or upgrade is simple and retroactive.

This means that the Ovation Line devices always remain state-of-the-art, with the highest level of sound quality, and will continue to grow in line with technical progress in the future. This is also our contribution to sustainability.

With the installation of the new D/A-CONVERTER S, we grant an additional one-year guarantee for your Ovation Line device if we install the D/A-CONVERTER S in our factory.

Like all our AVM devices, the D/A-CONVERTER S comes with a 2-year guarantee. If you register online, we will extend this guarantee to 4 years.
