The default temperature of the upper wine storage zone is +12 °C (+54 °F).
The default temperature of the lower wine storage zone is +12 °C (+54 °F).
The adjustable temperature range of both the upper and lower wine storage zone is from +5 °C to +22 °C (+41 - +72 °F).
NOTICE! The lower wine storage zone must be set to the same temperature as the upper wine storage zone or to a higher (warmer) temperature than the upper wine storage zone. The lower wine storage zone cannot be set colder than the upper wine storage zone.
HOW TO SET THE TEMPERATURES OF THE WINE STORAGE ZONES
- If the operating buttons of the display are locked, touch and hold the «ON/OFF»-BUTTON (A) and the «ILLUMINATION»-BUTTON (B) simultaneously for 3 seconds. The corresponding operational status indicator goes off. ^20 All operating buttons are released.
- Touch the «STORAGE ZONE»-BUTTON (D) repeatedly until the temperature indicator of the desired wine storage zone flashes (1 = upper wine storage zone or 2 = lower wine storage zone / s. fig. in chapter 4.2 CONTROL PANEL: OPERATING BUTTONS AND INDICATORS OF THE DISPLAY).
- Then touch the «INCREASE ▲»-BUTTON (E) or the «DECREASE √»-BUTTON (F) repeatedly until the desired temperature of the selected wine storage zone is displayed (1 = upper wine storage zone or 2 = lower wine storage zone).
- After 5 seconds without using any operating buttons, the set temperature is activated.
- The temperature indicator of the selected wine storage zone displays the current temperature.
i If you touch the « INCREASE ▲ »- BUTTON (E) or the « DECREASE ▼ »- BUTTON (F) once, the temperature indicator on the display flashes and indicates the current temperature of the selected wine storage zone (upper or lower wine storage zone). If you touch the respective button repeatedly, you set the temperature of the respective wine storage zone.
i Each time you touch the «INCREASE ▲»-BUTTON (E) the temperature in the respective wine storage zone increases by 1 °C.
i Each time you touch the «DECREASE △»-BUTTON (F) the temperature in the respective wine storage zone decreases by 1 °C.
5.6 Capacity of the appliance
The appliance is equipped with 3 wooden shelves and has a total storage capacity of 36 wine bottles (standard Bordeaux bottles / 750 ml).
The storage capacity of the shelves and the total storage capacity of the appliance depend on several factors: e.g., on the arrangement or size of the wine bottles, etc.
Max. 24 wine bottles (standard Bordeaux bottles / 750 ml) can be stored in the upper wine storage zone and max. 12 wine bottles (standard Bordeaux bottles / 750 ml) can be stored in the lower wine storage zone.
NOTICE! Do not overfill the shelves to protect them from damage. Never store more than 2 layers of wine bottles on one shelf. RISK OF DAMAGE!
5.7 Recommended storage / arrangement of wine bottles
To simplify the storage of the wine bottles, each shelf can be pulled out partially.
Open the door of the appliance wide enough before you pull out the shelves; otherwise, the shelves and / or the door can be damaged seriously.
The lower wine storage zone must be set to the same temperature as the upper wine storage zone or to a higher (warmer) temperature than the upper wine storage zone. The lower wine storage zone cannot be set colder than the upper wine storage zone! Therefore, we recommend storing white wines in the upper wine storage zone and red wines in the lower wine storage zone.
