In order to ensure the correct usage of the scale, it is advisable to read carefully this instruction manual. It is also advisable to save this manual for a future use.
WARNING
- Use this product only for its intended purpose, as described in this instruction manual such as an electronic scale for domestic use only. Any other use should be considered improper and dangerous. This scale should not be used to weigh objects or substances in commercial transactions, to produce medicines, to calculate tolls, tariffs, taxes, premiums, fines, remunerations, indemnities or fees of a similar kind determined by weight.
- Packaging components must be kept out of the reach of children as they might be dangerous and their disposal should be carried out according to the current regulations.
- Place always the product on a flat and stable surface. Do not operate near cell phones, radios, computers, or any other electronic device.
- The display shows "O-Ld" when the weight is over 5.000 g. remove immediately the weight from the scale, in order to prevent any damage of load cells.
- If the scale doesn't work, remove and install the batteries. If it doesn't work, please address to a specialized service centre.
- Never try to repair the scale by yourself but always address to service centres;
- When the scale is switched off, never place or lay any objects
on it.
- Avoid shaking, dropping or shocking the scale. This is a precision instrument and must be handled with care.
- Allow sufficient warm up time. Turn the scale on, wait few seconds to give the internal components a chance to stabilize before weighing.
- Handle with care, gently apply all items to be weighed onto tray top.
- Store and keep the scale in a clean and dry environment. Dust, dirt, moisture, vibration, air currents and proximity to other electronic equipment might affect the reliability and accuracy of your scale.
- Although this scale is designed to be durable, try to avoid rough treatment as this may permanently damage the internal sensor and void your warranty.
- If the unit is not used for a long period of time, it is advisable to remove batteries, their leaking might damage the appliance

INSTRUCTIONS
- Open the battery compartment under the scale, then put 2pcs AAA batteries into the battery compartment.
- Put the scale on the hard flat surface.
- Press ON/TARE button to turn on the scale.
- No loading or weighing can be done before the display resets to zero. It will get ready for use when the LCD screen shows "0g".
- Press UNIT button to choose the weighing unit.
- Do not put any stuff over 5kg on the kitchen scale. When "O-Ld" appears, it means the current load exceeds the maximum weight of this product. Please take off the object immediately to avoid damage to the scale body.
- If no more weighing is needed press the ON/TARE button to switch off the scale or it will auto turn-off within seconds.
NOTE:
- Don't put the scale in water or clean it with corrosive chemicals.
- When weighing, please put the scale on a hard flat surface. Do not put it on a carpet or a soft material when using it.
- When the low battery prompt "Lo" appears, please replace the batteries in time. Make sure you insert the batteries with the correct polarity.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
If the display shows the battery low symbol ("Lo") or the values are incorrect, replace the battery.
Open the battery compartment, placed under the scale. Remove the batteries and replace them with 2 new batteries AAA type. Replace battery cover.
When you change the batteries do not press too hard on the weighing plate.
In case you do not use the scale for a long time, please remove the battery. In case you do not use the scale for a long time, please remove the battery.
Overload indicator
When the weight exceeds the scale capacity (5 kg), the display shows: "O-Ld". Remove the excessive weight immediately in order to avoid product damages.
Weight unit (g / fl'oz / oz / ml / lb)
Switch the scale on. To change the weight unit, press "UNIT" to select "g / fl'oz / oz / ml / lb" button.
TARE function
Switch the scale on. Place the bowl or any other container you use, on the weighing plate.
In order to exclude the weight of any container, place it on the scale and then press the "ON/TARE" button. Now you can read "0" on the display. You must carry out this procedure before placing the food on the scale. Place the items to be weighed in the container and the correct weight of the items will appear on the display.
NB: if the container is placed on the platform before you switch the scale on, the scale will exclude the container weight automatically.
Negative Value
When all the weight (included the container) is removed from the scale platform, you will read a negative value on the display. In order to reset the scale to "0", just press the "ON/TARE" button.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
Never dip the scale into water. Please clean the appliance with a damp and soft cloth avoiding any water seepage inside the scale. Do not use chemical detergents.
It is advisable to store the scale in a clean place. Dust, dirt, moisture, vibration, air currents, can all cause an adverse effect on the reliability and accuracy of your scale.

The crossed-out dustbin symbol indicates that the product at the end of its life must be collected separately from other waste. The user should, therefore, take the equipment with the essential components at the end of its useful life to the separate collection
center of electronic and electrical waste, or return it to the retailer when purchasing new equipment of equivalent type, in ratio of one to one, or one to zero for devices with larger side less than 25 CM. The separate collection for the decommissioned equipment for recycling, treatment and environmentally compatible disposal contributes to avoid possible negative effects on the environment and human health and promotes recycling of the materials. Improper disposal of the product by the user entails the application of administrative sanctions according to Legislative Decree No. 49 of 14 March 2014.
The batteries used in this device must be disposed of in the special bins at the end of their life. Please inform yourself about the local rules on separate collection of batteries. The correct disposal of batteries helps preventing potentially negative consequences on the environment and human health.
