Safety advice
- This appliance is not intended for use by person (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Unplug from electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before adding on or taking parts off
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or if the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the manufacturer or appointed service agent for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles and knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or oven in water or any other liquid.
• The use of foreign accessories or attachments are not recommended by the appliance manufacturer as this may cause injuries. - Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let the electrical cord hang over the edge of a table or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electrical burner, or in a heated oven.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
- To disconnect, rotate the timer dial to "0" position, then remove plug from electrical outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• Oversize foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in the oven toaster as they may create a fire or risk electric shock.
- A fire may occur in the functioning oven toaster is covered or touches flammable materials such as curtians, Do not store any item on top of the appliance when in operation.
- Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and come in contact with electrical parts involving a risk of electric shock.
• Extreme caution should be exercised when using food containers constructed of materials other than metal or heat resistance glass.
• Do not store any cardboard, paper, plastic or other flammable items inside the oven. Store only the accessories provided inside the oven.
- Do not cover crumb tray or any part of the oven with metal foil. This will cause overheating which may result in damage to the oven or danger to the operator.
- Keep a space of at least 10 cm (4 inches) all around the oven toaster to allow for adequate air circulation.
• Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair the oven toaster. The oven toaster should only be repaired and/or serviced by an authorized Electrolux service centre and only genuine Electrolux spare parts should be used. Failure to do so may render the warranty void.
- As a safety feature, this product is equipped with a grounded plug, which will only fit into a three-prong outlet. Improper connection of the grounding conductor may result in the risk of electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician if you are in doubt as to whether the outlet is properly grounded.
• A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
- Longer extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised during use.
- If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and the cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
- This appliance is equipped with a tamper-resistant screw to prevent removal of the outer cover. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not attempt to remove the outer cover. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Repair should be done only by authorized Electro-lux technicians.
- If the power supply cord is damaged, it should be replaced by a qualified technician from Electrolux.
- The appliance cannot run in the way of the external timer or separate remote control system.
• Temperature of door or accessible surfaces may be high while the appliance is in use. Therefore, please take extra precaution to prevent any injuries.

D. Power indicator:
The power indicator will light up when the oven toaster is switched on.
E. Timer dial:
Use this dial to switch the oven toaster on or off and to set the timer (0 to 60 minutes) by turning the dial clockwise. At the end of the selected time, a bell will sound and the oven toaster will switch off. At any time the oven toaster can be switched off by turning the timer dial to the "0" position. Turn the timer dial clockwise to the proper time setting according to the table. If the time is within 5 minutes, please turn it to 10 minutes position and then turn back to the desired position.
STAY ON function
When at the STAY ON position, note that the oven toaster is ON all the time for continuous heating at the selected temperature setting. To switch off the appliance, turn the timer dial to "0" position and make sure the power indicator light is off.

G. Temperature control dial: Use this dial to select the desired oven operating temperature (100°C to 250°C).

Before using the appliance for the first time:
- Remove packing materials and stickers.
- Remove the food tray from oven.
- Wash in sudsy water, rinse and drywith a cloth or paper towel.
- Replace food tray in oven.
- Select a location for the unit. Do not place unit under cabinets or too close to the wall. Allow heat to flow without damaging counter space (Allow at least a 10 cm clearance all around the oven toaster).
Note: When the oven toaster is switched on the first time, there may be a slight smell and some smoke, this is normal and does not last long.
To eliminate the smell please follow this procedure:
- Ensure that the oven toaster is empty and that the door is open.
- Set the temperature to Max and setthe timer for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes the timer will automatically switch the oven toaster off.
- The oven toaster is now ready for use.
Caution: Do not use roasting bags, plastic containers or glassware that is not ovenproof in this oven toaster.
Ensure that the food does not come into contact with the heating elements. Should the food catch alight while cooking, keep the oven door closed and and unplug from the wall socket
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- Make sure the timer dial is set to "0" position before plugging in the unit.
- Connect plug into the appropriate power socket.
- The oven should be pre-heated before you cook achieve effective cooking performance.
- Place the food onto the grill rack. Make sure the food tray should be used for juicy and oily food.
Note: Before putting the food on the tray, spread a layer of edible oil onto the food tray to avoid the food sticking to tray after baking.

Set the temperature control dial to the desired temperature.

Set the timer dial to the desired cooking time.
Note: If the time is within 5 minutes, please turn it to 10 minutes and then turn back to the desired position.

Check the condition of food constantly during cooking. You can change baking time to suit your own personal taste.

When the cooking time is up, remove the cooked food from the unit with oven mitten.
Caution: Heat resistant mitten must be used when removing the food tray after cooking.
- Unplug the unit after use. Allow the unit to cool down sufficiently before moving or cleaning it.
Caution: The surface is HOT. Do not touch the unit during or immediately after cooking.
ACCESSORIES
- Grill rack - supports casserole dishes and general cooking pans.
- Food tray - for baking cookies, cakes etc. and also for collecting excess fats and juices.
- Food tray handle - use this accessory to remove food tray when hot.
FOOD TRAY POSITIONING
This oven can bake breakfast (bread, cake and steam cake), as well as dishes (roast pork, spare ribs, fish, chicken, goose, duck, peanuts, etc) with the perfection in colour, taste and aroma. While cooking large piece of food, change position of the tray in order to allow the food to be baked evenly.
- The food tray can be adjusted to 3 different positions according to the food you want to cook.
Note: It may be necessary to change the food tray to a lower position if the surface is too brown or change it to a higher position if the base is browning.
Cleaning and Maintainance
- After use, set all switches to "0" position. Always unplug the unit and wait until the interior parts of the oven have completely been cooled down before cleaning.
- Use a damp cloth to clean the inside and outside parts of the oven. Do not use abrasive or corrosive cleaners.
- Do not immerse the unit, power cord and plug into water or other liquids.
- Wash all accessories in warm soapy water, or in a dishwasher.
- Allow all the parts to dry thoroughly before plugging the oven toaster into the wall socket.
- When food have accumulated at the bottom of the unit, it can impair the performance.
For EOT2805K/EOT2805W: Push and lift to open the crumb release. Release to dispose. Clean it with a damp cloth, dry and lock it properly before next use.
For EOT3805K/EOT4805K: Remove the crumb tray provided for easy cleaning.
NOTE:
- Do soak the food tray with warm water as it will make cleaning easier.
- To remove any cooking spatters, wipe the interior of the oven toaster with some mild detergent on a damp sponge, cloth or nylon-scouring pad.
- Sugar and salt based food have a tendency to stick to all surfaces and are very hard to clean. When cooking these types of food, clean the food tray and grill rack immediately after each use.
Storage:
- Follow the above cleaning instruction for well maintenance before storage.
- Tidy up the power cord.
- The unit and its accessories should be stored at dry and cool place.
