How do I use the INN-062 electric blanket?

Place the blanket on the mattress under the bottom sheet. Connect the controller, set to 0, plug in. Preheat on level 3 for one hour before bed. Before sleeping, turn off and unplug.

Can I sleep with the electric blanket on?

No, for safety you must turn off and unplug the blanket before lying down. Do not fall asleep with the device operating.

How should I wash the electric blanket?

First, disconnect the controller. Hand or machine wash at a maximum of 40°C with low spin. Do not dry clean, bleach, iron, or tumble dry. Hang to dry naturally.

Can I use the electric blanket on an adjustable bed?

No, the blanket should not be used on adjustable beds as the cable could become trapped or snagged.

Is the blanket safe for children?

It is not suitable for children under 3. Children aged 3-8 can only use it under supervision with controls pre-set by an adult.

What does the temperature range mean?

The blanket heats to between 34°C and 38°C. Level 1 is low for slight warmth; level 3 is high for rapid heating. Actual temperature may vary with environment.

Can I use a different controller?

No, only use the supplied controller model TWK-1/T4K. Using another controller may cause damage or safety hazards.

What should I do if the blanket stops working?

Unplug immediately. Check if the safety fuse has blown; if so, return to manufacturer or authorized service. Do not attempt to repair yourself.

How should I store the electric blanket?

Read the warnings contained in this booklet carefully as they provide important safety instructions for the installation, use and maintenance of the appliance. Keep this manual safe for future consultation.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• After removing the packaging materials, make sure the product is complete. If you note visible damages, do not use and return to the manufacturer or dealer.
• Keep the plastic bag or other packaging materials out of reach of children.
• For safety reasons, the electric blanket and control unit must not be opened up or taken apart.
• Use the electric blanket with the control unit provided only.
• Before connecting the appliance, check that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the mains voltage.
• Do not use the electric blanket folded or creased.
• The appliance has been designed and made to operate as an under blanket (positioned on the mattress, under the bottom sheet). All other uses are improper and therefore dangerous.
• Disconnect the control unit before washing.
• Do not dry clean
• Do not use if the electric blanket or its components are damp or wet.
• Do not wring or twist.
• Do not insert pins or similar into the electric blanket.
• Unplug the appliance from the mains socket when not in use.
• Never pull the power cable or control unit to unplug the blanket from the mains socket

• Use the appliance on a mattress only. Do not use on rigid surfaces (without a mattress, on a bed base, slats, floor, etc).
• Unplug from the power socket before lying down. The user should not fall asleep when the device is operating.

• Prolonged use at a high temperature can cause skin burns.
• Do not use together with another heating appliance.
• The appliance should not be used on adjustable beds as the blanket or cable could be trapped or snagged.
  • Before storing the products, let it cool down.
• Do not crease and/or deform the electric blanket by placing objects on top of it while stored.
• Do not use the product outdoor.
• In case of faults or malfunction, unplug from the mains socket. Do not tamper and contact the authorised after sale service immediately.
• This product can be used by children from 8 years old and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience, under supervision or if they have received proper instructions regarding the use of the appliance safely and they understand the dangers involved.
• This product is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance. Keep this product out of reach of children.

How to place the Electric Blanket:

Do not use the electric blanket on adjustable bed.

Place the electric blanket on the mattress and make sure the mains lead to the upper part of the bed, under the pillow area. Check for creases and smooth them if necessary. The electric blanket must not be turned down. Place the bottom sheet on the electric blanket and make the bed as normal.

HOW TO USE

Connect the controller to the electric blanket, make sure the controller is set on 0 position and plug the appliance.

It is advisable to turn the appliance on an hour before going to bed and set the 3 level to heat the bed fast.

The temperature level depends on the room temperature and personal preferences For example:

Level1: low power for slight heating,

Level 2: medium power

Level 3: high power to heat the bed when the room is particularly cold.

To heat the bed quicker, select level n.3

Before going to bed, turn the appliance off and unplug from the mains socket.

The temperature detected on the blanket once heated is in the range of 34^-38^ . Variations of the detectable temperature can be due to particular environmental conditions in which the blanket is used.

Disconnect the Connector

To disconnect the connector, pull the plug out. Never pull the cable.

After use:

Make sure the controller is in 0 position when the electric blanket is not in use and remove the plug from the power socket. If the electric blanket is not to be used for a long period of time, place the appliance in a cool and dry place.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before washing or cleaning the appliance, unplug the control unit from the electric blanket.
• Cleaning and maintenance operations should not be performed by children without adult supervision.

Do not dry clean or use chemical solvents, as these products may damage the electric blanket and compromise the safety of the appliance.

Do not bleach.

Wash the electric blanket by hand or in a washing machine at a maximum temperature of 40^ C with low mechanical action and spin. It is advisable to wash the appliance by hand in order to prolong the life of the product. After washing, place the electric blanket over a clothes line to dry. Do not use clothes pegs to secure it because they may damage the heating elements.

- Never immerse the control unit or power cable in water.

Do not crease, wring or twist the electric blanket.

Never dry in a tumble dryer.

Dry lying

Do not iron.

• Do not plug the appliance to the mains socket to dry it faster.
• Do not leave the appliance dry under the sun.
• Do not use hair dryer to dry the appliance.
• Let the electric blanket to dry in a natural way.
• Do not use if the electric blanket or its components are damp or wet.

STORAGE

When the electric blanket is not to be used for a long time, allow to cool down, fold delicately and place in the box provided without pressing down excessively.

Do not rest heavy objects on top of the blanket as they could crush and damage the appliance.

Place the product on a cool and dry place.
