How to clean the plates of my T-Fal SM155T?

The plates are removable and dishwasher safe. You can also wash them by hand with a non-abrasive sponge and dish soap.

Yes, the device can toast bread, toast, croque-monsieur, or even small meats like chicken cutlets.

How to adjust the browning of sandwiches?

Turn the thermostat to the desired position (1 to 6). The higher the number, the more toasted the bread will be.

What to do if the device no longer heats up?

Check that the plug is connected and the power button is pressed. If the problem persists, contact T-Fal customer service.

Can I use replacement plates from other models?

No, use exclusively the replacement plates reference SS-1234 suitable for the SM155T to ensure safety and cooking.

Yes, the automatic shut-off triggers after a cooking cycle or in case of overheating. This is a normal safety feature.

Is the T-Fal SM155T suitable for thick sandwiches?
