Usage
Energy saving: This is a very practical appliance for steering the tea. When starts operating, it boils the water in a short time and automatically reduces the energy wastage to about %90 and keeps the water warm. In this case, the appliance boils the water in min level and prevents overmuch evaporation, keeps the tea warm in the teapot, keeps energy safe. When adding the water into the kettle, for boiling the water quickly boiling/keep warm switch (5) must be ON. After the water boils, the heating becomes to min level and keeps the water warm. In other meaning, after adding some water in to the kettle, switch boiling / keep warm switch and main switch ON position, after the tea service over, you need to switch OFF only the main switch (5). After you pushed the keep warm / boiling switch; the appliance automatically keeps the water and tea warm.
- Please do not switch ON the main switch (5) without any water in the kettle or if the water is under min level. If there is no water left in the kettle, please turn off the main switch. In this kind of situations, for the security reasons the appliance is protected by 2 pcs of thermostat.
Preparing tea: Plug the appliance in to the wall socket. When not using the appliance, please make sure that you switched OFF the main switch.
- Pour the water between min and max levels depending to the tea quantity that you want to steer. Place the kettle on to the power base. Open the teapot lid, replace the tea filter. Put some tea in to the filter and pour some water on the tea and then place the filter into the teapot. Slide the main switch to (I) and boiling / keep warm switch to (ON) position. The red pilot light on the handle turns ON and the water starts to heat. Depending to the water quantity, water start boiling in 3-10 minutes time and boiling / keep warm switch goes on (OFF) position and starts to keep the water and tea warm. After that, the red light turns OFF and the green light turns ON. You could steer the tea with boiled water and then place the teapot top of the kettle. If necessary, you could add some water in to the kettle. If you add some more water, you need to switch ON the boiling / keep warm switch.
Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance:
1- After you steer the tea or boil the water, you should switch the main switch OFF.
2- You could clean the teapot and filter by hand or in the dishwasher. Empty the water inside of the kettle and then clean with dry or damp cloth. Never try to clean the kettle under running water.
3- In a period of time, there might be some scale occurs on the heating element and this reduces the performance of your appliance. In this case, after boiling some water; you need to switch the main and boiling / keep warm switch OFF. After that boil the water with some vinegar in max capacity water level, then pour the water.
