What to do if the machine does not turn on?

Check that the appliance is properly plugged in and that the fuse has not blown. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

How to clean the pump filter?

Open the pump cover at the bottom right, remove the filter, clean it under running water and put it back. Ensure the appliance is unplugged.

What to do in case of water leakage?

Check the water inlet connections and the door gasket. If the leak comes from underneath, clean the pump filter and check the detergent drawer.

How to activate the child safety lock?

Press the corresponding button (usually symbolized by a padlock) for 3 seconds. Refer to the manual for the exact model.

Why doesn't the drum turn?

The machine may be in safe mode (door not properly closed) or the program is paused. Also check that the filter is not blocked.

How to replace the door gasket?

Remove the door, the front panel and the retaining ring. Remove the old gasket and install the new one in reverse order. Refer to the manual for details.

What detergent to use?

Use a detergent suitable for your laundry type (powder, liquid). Follow the recommended dosages to avoid residue.

How to reset the appliance?

Unplug the machine for 10 minutes, then plug it back in. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

The door does not open after a cycle: what to do?

Wait 2 minutes after the cycle ends. If it remains locked, use the emergency opening cord (see manual). Do not force.

Where to find spare parts?

Spare parts are available from Bosch customer service or the official website. Refer to the manual for references.

These repair hints support consumer to repair appliances by himself according to the applicable eco-design regulation (as of 03/2021).

1.2 Explanation of symbols

1.2.1 Danger levels

The warning levels consist of a symbol and a signal word. The signal word indicates the severity of the danger.

Warning level Meaning

Caution	Non-observance of the warning message could result in minor injuries.

3.8 Replacing door lock

As a manufacturer, we are obliged to provide consumers with the spare part door lock including repair instructions in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/2023. However, we would like to point out that after replacing a door lock, an electrotechnical safety test by a qualified electrician is required before the device is put into operation. This person must be verifiably qualified according to the country-specific laws, regulations and standards.
