How to install the Siemens WU14UT71ES washing machine?

Unpack the appliance and remove the transport bolts. Connect the water inlet hose to a cold water tap and the drain hose to a siphon. Plug the appliance into a grounded outlet. Use the spirit level to adjust the feet properly.

What washing programs are available on this model?

This model offers 14 programs: Cotton, Synthetics, Delicate, Wool, Quick 15 min, Sports, Shirts, Rinse+Spin, Drain, Drum Clean, etc.

How to use the delayed start function?

Select your program, then press the Delayed start button. Turn the selector to choose the number of hours delay (from 1 to 24 hours). Confirm and start the program.

What to do if an error code is displayed?

Note the displayed code. Refer to the manual for meaning. Common examples: E:10 (water inlet problem), E:18 (clogged filter). Restart the appliance. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

How to clean the pump filter?

Unplug the appliance and open the lower flap. Unscrew the filter cap (prepare a container for residual water). Clean the filter under running water. Replace and close.

Why is my washing machine not draining?

Check that the drain hose is not kinked or blocked. Clean the pump filter. Make sure the selected program is not a no-drain program (e.g., tank full stop).

Can I use liquid or powder detergent?

Both are suitable. Put the detergent in the appropriate compartment. For prewash, use compartment II. If using liquid detergent, use the provided dispenser and place it in compartment II.

How to maintain the door seal?

After each wash, wipe the rubber seal with a dry cloth to avoid moisture and mold. Clean it regularly with a mild product.

What is the water and energy consumption?

The annual water consumption is about 9,900 liters. The energy consumption per cycle is about 0.75 kWh for a Cotton program at 60°C. The appliance is rated A+++.

Where to find spare parts for this model?

3.8 Replacing door lock

As a manufacturer, we are obliged to provide consumers with the spare part door lock including repair instructions in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/2023. However, we would like to point out that after replacing a door lock, an electrotechnical safety test by a qualified electrician is required before the device is put into operation. This person must be verifiably qualified according to the country-specific laws, regulations and standards.
