- Read the instructions carefully before using the appliance, and keep the instructions including the warranty, receipt, and if possible the box with inner packaging.
- This appliance is designed for private use, and for the intended application. It is not suitable for commercial use.
- Keep the appliance away from heat sources, direct sunlight, moisture and sharp edges.
- Do not use with wet hands. Unplug immediately if the unit is damp or wet. Do not immerse in water.
- Do not use outdoors.
- When the unit is cleaned or put away, it must be turned off and the plug must be pulled out of the socket (pull the plug, not the cable).
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are aged from 8 years and above and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance. - If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
- Use only original spare parts.
- To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance in water or other liquid.
- Be especially aware of "special security instructions" below.
Special safety instructions for this device
- The device must only be filled with cold water.
- Water level must be between the MAX and MIN marks. If the water level exceeds the maximum level, the boiling water and steam may be ejected, which might arise a hazard to the user.
- The device switches off automatically when removed from the base plate. Kettle must only be used with the included base plate.
• Always make sure that the lid is properly closed. - Unplug when not in use.

Please read these instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place. Boil fresh water in the kettle at least twice before it is used for the first time. Use only plain water with no additives or ingredients.
Use
- Open the kettle by pressing the button on the lid, and pour fresh cold water. Water scale on the side of the kettle showing how much water it contains. Do not overfill the kettle.
- Close the lid by pushing it into the closed position.
- Put the kettle on the flat base plate.
- Press start / stop button to start warming
- Avoid touching the sides of the kettle when it contains hot water. Avoid opening the lid when you pour out the water.
Cleaning
• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- If necessary, the device may be cleaned with a damp cloth with out any additives.
- Filter holder, glass jar and lid can be washed in hot soapy water or placed at the top in the dishwasher.
- Never wash other parts of the device in the dishwasher. Never use strong detergents, scouring powders, steel wool or other release agents on any part of the maker.
Descaling
- How often kettle needs descaling depends on how hard the water is and how often it is used.
- If the unit shuts off before the water boils, it is likely that it needs descaling.
- Use a commercially available descalcifying.
Electrical connection
Check the voltage where you use the device is the same as specified on the appliance. For details on the label on the base plate.
