Before use
Clean the loose parts of the hand mixer (beaters and dough hooks) in soapy lukewarm water before use. Dry all parts thoroughly.
How to use the hand mixer
Hand mixer with beater
Place the mixer upright and hold on to the stem of the beaters while inserting them into the openings on the under side of the appliance. You will hear a click when the beaters are engaged. Position the 5-level speed control at 0 and insert the plug into a mains socket (remember to switch on) – the mixer is now ready for use.
Hold on to the handle of the mixer while inserting the whisks into the liquid to be whipped. Use your thumb to select the speed level by pushing the speed control to the right or to the left, respectively. Always start at step 1 and increase gradually if needed.
In order to avoid splashes, always keep the beaters in the ingredients in the bowl and switch off the mixer before lifting the beaters off the bowl.
Hand mixer with dough hooks
Insert the dough hook with a collar at the top of the stem into the big opening and the dough hook without collar into the small opening. It is important to position the hooks in this way in order to prevent the dough/the blend from working its way up the dough hooks and the stem.
Do not use the hand mixer more than 4 min. at a time and then let it rest for about 20 min. before proceeding.
NOTE! Make sure that the beaters and the dough hooks can rotate freely in the product to be whipped. If not, the motor may be overloaded!
What speed?
Steps 1-4: Blending of dried ingredients and liquids, whipping of cream and sauces and mashing of vegetables. Blending of cake dough or rather compact dough, using dough hooks, and stirring of sugar and fat to get a soft texture.
Steps 3-5: Whipping of cream, eggs and egg whites and beating of forcemeat and kneading of light dough.
Turbo: For extra fast whipping for short periods. The turbo function can be used at any speed and will increase the speed of the chosen setting.
After use
Switch off and unplug. Hold the mixer over a bowl or the sink and press the ejection button with your thumb for releasing the beaters/dough hooks. Please note that the beaters/dough hooks can only be released when speed control is set at "0". DO not press the speed control when in position 1 – 5.
Cleaning and maintenance
Wash beaters and dough hooks in hot water and washing liquid or in the dishwasher. Wipe the mixer with a cloth, if necessary with dishwasher liquid. Dry with a dry cloth or kitchen towel. Do not use scouring powder or other aggressive detergents that might scratch or delustre the surface of the appliance.
IMPORTANT: Never rinse the mixer under running water or immerse it into water or other liquids.
Disposal of the appliance

Legislation requires that all electrical and electronic equipment must be collected for reuse and recycling. Electrical and electronic equipment marked with the symbol indicating separate collection of such equipment must be returned to a municipal waste collection point.
