5. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Children are not always able to understand potential risks. Teach children a responsible handling of electrical appliances.
6. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children, unless they are over the age of 8 and supervised.

Use

This brush should be used on clean and dry hair. If you have very thick and/or curly hair, it may be easier to divide the hair into sections using hair clips to make it easier to style the hair.

Plug the brush in and press the power button. The display will light up and show 210°C. The ionic function is activated automatically when the appliance is switched on. Place the brush on a heat-resistant surface while it heats up. After about 2-3 seconds, the brush is ready to use.

Take a section of hair and gently pull the brush through the hair in one smooth motion. Start at the scalp and pull the brush down towards the ends. Do not

hold the brush in the same position for more than 2-3 seconds. Repeat the procedure until you have achieved the desired result and then let the hair cool right down.

Always switch the appliance off after use by pressing and holding the power button for 2 seconds until the display goes off. Always unplug after use. If you forget to do this, the appliance turns itself off automatically after 40 minutes.

NOTE! This appliance reaches very high temperatures. Make sure that the hot parts of this appliance do not come into contact with the scalp, face, neck or hands. Do not use the appliance on wigs, extensions or artificial hair without testing it on a small section of hair first to discover if there is a risk of the hair melting.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Unplug the brush and allow it to cool down completely on a heat-resistant surface before cleaning.
• Make sure that the brush is placed out of the reach of children. The brush reaches very high temperatures when in use, and therefore takes a long time to cool down.
• The brush and cord/plug must not be immersed in water or other liquids.
  • Make sure that water does not get into the casing!
• Wipe the brush handle and exterior parts with a damp cloth and wipe dry with a dry cloth. Use a comb or similar to remove any hair caught in the brush.
• The cord must not be wound around the brush or its handle.

Conditions & Exclusions

OBH Nordica shall not be obliged to repair or replace any product which is not accompanied by a valid proof of purchase. The defective product may be returned to the store of purchase.

This guarantee applies only for products purchased and used for domestic purposes and will not cover any damage which occurs as a result of misuse, negligence, failure to follow OBH Nordica instructions, or a modification or unauthorised repair of the product, faulty packaging by the owner or mishandling by any carrier. It also does not cover normal wear and tear, maintenance or replacement of consumable parts, or the following:

• using the wrong type of water or consumable
• mechanical damages, overloading

• damage as a result of lightning or power surges
