Frequently Asked Questions - TVP 5683 Cylinda

How do I clean the lint filter on my Cylinda TVP 5683 dryer?
Open the door and pull the lint filter out from the bottom of the door opening. Remove lint by hand or with a soft brush. Wash the filter with warm water and mild detergent every few cycles, then dry thoroughly before reinserting.
What is the maximum load capacity for the TVP 5683?
The maximum dry load capacity is 7 kg. Overloading can reduce drying performance and increase drying time.
How do I reset the dryer if it stops mid-cycle?
Press the Start/Pause button to pause, then turn the program selector dial off. Wait a few seconds, select the desired program, and press Start again. If the issue persists, check the lint filter, drain hose, and condensate tank.
Why is my dryer not heating properly?
Check that the dryer is not overloaded, the lint filter is clean, and the condensate tank is empty. Also ensure the room temperature is above 10°C. If still not heating, the heating element or thermostat may need inspection by a technician.
Can I vent the TVP 5683 to the outside?
No, this model is a condenser dryer and does not require external venting. It condenses moisture into a tank that must be emptied after each use.
How often should I clean the condenser unit?
Clean the condenser unit after every 30 drying cycles or once a month. Remove the condenser unit from the bottom front of the dryer and rinse with warm water. Let it dry completely before reinstalling.
What does the 'Child Lock' feature do?
The child lock prevents children from changing the program or starting/stopping the dryer unintentionally. Activate it by pressing and holding the Child Lock button for 3 seconds. Deactivate the same way.
My dryer displays an error code. What should I do?
Common error codes: E1 (water tank full), E2 (lint filter blocked), E3 (drain problem). Check the corresponding component. If the code persists, consult the manual or contact Cylinda customer service.
Can I place the dryer in a cold garage?
The ambient temperature should be between 10°C and 40°C. Operating in a cold garage may reduce drying efficiency and could cause frost damage to the condensate tank. It is not recommended.
How do I change the door opening direction?
The door is reversible. Unscrew the hinge screws on the current side, remove the door, and reattach it on the opposite side using the provided screw holes. Follow the instructions in the manual for detailed steps.

Delicate embroidered fabrics, woollen, silk garments, delicate and valuable fabrics, airtight items and tulle curtains are not suitable for machine drying.

4.3 Preparing laundry for drying

  • Laundry may be tangled with each other after washing. Separate the laundry items before placing them into the dryer.
  • Dry garments having metal accessories such as zippers, inside out.
  • Fasten the zippers, hooks and buckles and button sheets.

4.4 Things to be done for energy saving

Following information will help you use the dryer in an ecological and energy-efficient manner.

  • Spin your laundry at the highest speed possible when washing them. Thus, the drying time is shortened and energy consumption is reduced.
  • Sort out the laundry depending on their type and thickness. Dry the same type of laundry together. For example thin kitchen towels and table clothes dries earlier than thick bathroom towels.
  • Follow the instructions in the user manual for programme selection.
  • Do not open the loading door of the machine during drying unless necessary. If you must certainly open the loading door, do not to keep it open for a long time.
  • Do not add wet laundry while the dryer is in operation
  • Clean the lint filter before or after each drying cycle. (See 6.1 Cleaning Lint Filter / Loading Door Inner Surface)

Preparation

- Clean the filter periodically when there is visible air collection on it or when the symbol lights up, if there is a filter drawer cleaning warning symbol «

» available. (See 6.4 Cleaning the filter drawer)

- Ventilate the room, where the dryer is located, well during drying.

4.5 Correct load capacity

Follow the instructions in the "Programme selection and consumption table". Do not load more than the capacity values stated in the table.

Cylinda TVP 5683 - Correct load capacity - 1

natural_image Diagram of a washing machine with internal tissue and lid, showing no text or symbols
