Rechargeable handheld vacuum cleaner
Before use
Before the handheld vacuum cleaner is used for the first time, read the instruction manual carefully and save it for future use.
The handheld vacuum cleaner is an efficient appliance to be used in the house, in the car, in the caravan or in the boat, and it is simply indispensable when you have children or pets.
Use the handheld vacuum cleaner to suck up dust and dirt from the floor and tables, furniture, mattresses, cloths and carpets. You can also use it to remove cold ash by the wood stove. However, it is important to make sure that there are no sparks or embers in the ash as this might cause self-ignition. Such damage is not covered by the warranty.
Description of the vacuum cleaner
- Motor part
- On/off button
- LED lamp (on during charging)
- Filter
- Container
- Adapter
- Charging base
- DC plug for adapter

Charging
Put the small plug of the adapter in the DC plug at the bottom part of the charging base and plug the adapter to a socket.
The handheld vacuum cleaner has not been charged at delivery and needs charging for at least 16 hours before use.
Use the delivered adapter for charging. Connect only to 230V AC as indicated on the data plate on the adapter.
The charging should be made in a room at temperatures from about 8-40°C and should be done exclusively by means of the delivered adapter. During charging the adapter becomes hand-warm, which is quite normal.
Make sure that the on/off button is off. Put the handheld vacuum cleaner in the charging base in such a way that the arrow under the handle aligns with the arrow on the charging base and that the dot under the on/off button on the motor part aligns with the dot on the charging base.
IMPORTANT! In order to get full battery effect the first charging should be on for at least 16 hours. Do not use the vacuum cleaner until this first charging has been completed.
The LED lamp on the motor part will be on to indicate that the charging is ongoing, and it will be on as long as the vacuum cleaner is positioned in the charging base with the current on. If the LED lamp is not on, press the on/off button. We recommend that the handheld vacuum cleaner is connected to the supply circuit for max 3 days on end, as continuous charging for a long period may damage the batteries.
How to use the handheld vacuum cleaner
Remove the vacuum cleaner from the charging base and switch it on by pressing the on/off button. When you want to switch off the appliance, press the on/off button again.
Before starting, check that the filter is positioned correctly. Never use the vacuum cleaner without the filter as this might cause dust and/or liquid to be sucked into the motor part, which may be damaged. Such damage is not covered by the warranty.
Before you use the handheld vacuum cleaner, you should also consider whether the surface of e.g. a table or a floor is too sensitive and might be scratched by moving the vacuum cleaner across it. If this is the case you should not use the vacuum cleaner on such a surface.
Please note that the suction capacity of the handheld vacuum cleaner depends on the cleanness of the filter and the amount of dust etc. in the container. We recommend that you empty the container often – preferably each time you have used the appliance.
IMPORTANT! Do not use the handheld vacuum cleaner to remove sparks, warm ash, embers or cigarette stubs. Do not suck up organic solvents, acid, explosive dust/liquids or other poisonous products.
Cleaning and maintenance
Make sure that the adapter is unplugged and that the handheld vacuum cleaner is not in operation when the cleaning starts.
Do not use gasoline or other dangerous means for cleaning the parts of the handheld vacuum cleaner. Wipe the parts with a damp cloth. Do not use any kind of washing or dishwashing machine for cleaning the parts. Never, under no circumstances, immerse in water or let the motor part and the adapter get in contact with water.
The air suction must not be covered during use and should be cleaned at regular intervals by using a small brush or similar, while the vacuum cleaner is off.
How to empty the container
- Hold the vacuum cleaner with the container facing downwards. Turn the container in such a way that the dot on the container aligns with the "open padlock" symbol and carefully pull off the container.
- Remove the filter and empty the container.
- If the dust filter is very dirty, it can be cleaned. Brush the filter using a soft brush or rinse carefully in soapy water. Be sure to thoroughly rinse all soap from the dust filter.
-
Dry the dust filter carefully before remounting.
-
Put the container back onto the motor part and turn the container counter-clockwise in such a way that the dot on the container aligns with the "closed padlock" symbol 🔔.
How to change the battery pack
This handheld vacuum cleaner is equipped with rechargeable batteries that do not contain mercury, cadmium or other heavy metals. The batteries are in a battery pack.
To change the battery pack, demount the container as described above.
Remove the four screws on the unit to lift out the motor part. Next, remove the battery pack carefully from the battery housing and loosen the pack carefully of the two clips with the wires mounted. Please note that the clips may vary in size, which means that the battery pack can be mounted in only one way. Consequently, it is important to make sure that the clips fit to the two metal legs of the battery pack. When the battery pack has been put in the clips, insert it into the battery housing and put the battery cover back on again. Finally, mount the four screws on the motor part. The vacuum cleaner is now ready for charging.
WARNING!
NEVER insert non-rechargeable batteries in the handheld vacuum cleaner.
