Important Safeguards

Do not touch hot Top cover. Use handles or knobs. Surfaces become extremely hot.

- To prevent against electrical hazards, do not immerse cord, plug or toaster in water or other liquid. See instructions for cleaning.

- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by children or near children.

• Always unplug appliance from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning and handling.

Before first time usage

• Unpack your new Health Grill and remove all extra fittings such as plastic wrappers and cable clamps meant for protection during transportation.
• Before starting up your new Health Grill, check the contents for completeness and any visible damage.
• Read the directions for use carefully.

How to use 1- Connect the plug to the mains socket.

2- The power on red light will come on.
3- Turn the temperature dial to the desired heat setting.
4- Preheat the unit with plates closed, after approximately 3-5 minutes, the temperature is reached and ready light (green) will come on.

5- Use the handle to lift the upper plate and pour the creamy mixture on the bottom cooking plate by using wooden or plastic (heat resistant) utensils.

Recipes:

Biscuit Waffles

Pre heat 5mins before on high temperature setting Ingredients: 5 egg yolks, 5 tbsp. hot water, 100 g sugar, grated rind of lemon, 150 g flour, baking powder, 5 egg whites, whisked,

Preparation:

Beat the egg yolks, water, sugar and lemon rind. Stir in the flour sifted with baking powder and finally gently fold in the whisked egg whites. Bake the dough immediately.

Sprinkle the baked waffles with icing sugar, almond, honey or ice cream and serve them warm.

Cinnamon Waffles

Ingredients:

125 g margarine or butter, 3 eggs, 50 g sugar, 1 packet vanilla, 250 g flour, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 2 tsp. baking powder, 125 ml lukewarm water

Preparation: Whisk the fat, sugar and vanilla sugar add the eggs one after another. Gently fold in the flour sifted with baking powder and the lukewarm water, and finally add the cinnamon. Bake the dough immediately. Sprinkle the baked waffles with sugar and cinnamon. Serve warm.

Cooking Tips 1- The cooking time will depend on the type, thickness and volume of foods, whatever, you can increase the cooking times.

2- In order to maintain the crispness of the waffles, place them next to each other on a rack to cool. (Placed on top of each other, the waffles will lose their crispness).

3- If milk is used instead of water, the waffles will be softer and darker.

Cleaning 1- Disconnect from the main socket and ensure the apliance

completely cooled down before cleaning.

2- Use a paper towel moistened with a little cooking oil to remove stubborn stains.
3- Wipe all surfaces with a clean, damp cloth
