OVERSIGT OVER APPARATETS DELE
To get the best out of your new appliance, please read this user guide carefully before using it for the first time. Take particular note of the safety precautions. We also recommend that you keep the instructions for future reference, so that you can remind yourself of the functions of your appliance.
SAFETY MEASURES
General
- Incorrect use of this appliance may cause personal injury and damage.
- Use for its intended purpose only. The manufacturer is not responsible for any injury or damage resulting from incorrect use or handling (see also Guarantee Terms).
- For domestic use only. Not for outdoor or commercial use.
- For connection to 230 V, 50 Hz only.
- Do not immerse the appliance, cord or plug in water and make sure no water enters the appliance.
- Never touch the appliance, cord or wall socket with wet or damp hands.
- Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight, high temperatures, humidity, dust or corrosive substances.
- Never leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on.
- Keep the appliance under constant supervision while in use. keep an eye on children in the vicinity of the appliance when it is being used. The appliance is not a toy.
- The appliance is not to be used by persons with reduced sensitivity, physical or mental disabilities or persons who are unable to use the appliance, unless supervised or instructed by a person responsible for their safety.
- The appliance contains sharp parts - keep out of the reach of children.
Use only accessories supplied with the appliance or those recommended by the manufacturer.
Use
• Always use with a bowl.
- Do not switch on unless the whisks or dough hook are fitted.
- Do not leave the appliance running for more than 5 minutes at a time. If the appliance has been running for more than 5 minutes, leave it to cool down before you use it again.
- Putting too many ingredients in the bowl can overload the motor.
- Never touch the whisks or dough hook while in operation. Risk of serious injury. Switch off appliance and wait until the whisks or dough hook have stopped revolving before touching them.
- Never stick kitchen implements or other objects into the whisks or dough hooks while in operation. Risk of serious injury and damage to the appliance.
- Never eject the whisks or dough hooks while the appliance is in operation.
- Switch appliance off and disconnect from the mains before cleaning, changing whisks/dough hooks and when not in use.
- Remove whisks/dough hooks from the appliance before cleaning them.
- Do not cover the ventilation holes.
- Never insert anything into the ventilation holes.
Cord and plug
- Do not let the cord hang out over the edge of the work surface.
- Check that it is not possible to pull or trip over the cord or any extension cord.
- Keep the cord and appliance away from heat sources, hot objects and naked flames.
- Unplug before changing accessories, cleaning, and when not in use. Avoid pulling the cord when removing the plug from the socket. Instead, hold the plug.
- Ensure that the cord is fully extended.
- The cord must not be twisted or wound around the appliance.
- Check regularly that neither cord nor plug is damaged and do not use if they are, or if the appliance has been dropped or damaged in any other way.


- If the appliance, cord or plug have been damaged, have the appliance inspected and if necessary repaired by an authorised repairer. Never try to repair the appliance yourself. Please contact the store where you bought the appliance for repairs under the guarantee. Unauthorised repairs or modifications to the appliance will invalidate the guarantee.

PRIOR TO FIRST USE
- Remove all packaging and transport materials from the inside and outside of the appliance.
- Check that the appliance has no visible damage and that no parts are missing.
- Clean all parts that come into contact with food before using the appliance for the first time (or after prolonged storage). See "Cleaning".
USING THE APPLIANCE
- Fit the whisks (7) or dough hooks (6) in their holes (8); press them home and turn until you hear them click. o The two whisks are identical and fit in either hole. o The two hooks are different: The hook with a flat ring at the top can ONLY be inserted into the marked hole, whilst the other can ONLY be inserted in the other hole.
- Check that the speed button (2) is set to 0 (= off).
- Connect the appliance.
- Lower the whisks/dough hooks into the bowl with ingredients before switching on to avoid splashes.

Switch on by pushing the speed button to the right.
o The appliance has 5 speed settings: 1 is the lowest and 5 the highest.
o Start at low speed and gradually increase.
o Putting too many ingredients in the bowl can overload the motor. -
Press the Turbo button (3) at any setting to boost speed. Only use the Turbo button for a short period at a time.

Turn off the appliance by pushing the speed button to position "0" when you have finished using it.

Disconnect from the mains before removing whisks or dough hooks. Press the eject button (1).
STORAGE
- Ensure that the appliance is clean, dry and completely cool before storing it.
- Store the appliance in a clean and dry place, for instance in its box.
- Do not place heavy objects on top of the appliance.
- The cord must not be twisted or wound around the appliance.
CLEANING
When cleaning the appliance, you should pay attention to the following:
- Remove the plug from the mains socket, and allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning it.
- Never immerse the appliance in water and make sure no water enters the appliance.
- Clean the appliance by wiping it with a damp cloth. A little detergent can be added if the appliance is heavily soiled.
- Whisks and dough hooks can be washed in soapy water by hand or in a dishwasher.
- Do not use scouring pads, steel wool or any form of strong solvents or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance, as they can damage the external surfaces of the appliance.
- IMPORTANT! Allow to dry completely after cleaning. Do not use the appliance if it is damp.
- Always clean the appliance before putting it away if it is not to be used for a prolonged period.

Plug wiring:
This product is fitted with a BS 1363 5-amp plug. If you have to replace the fuse, only those that are ASTA or BSI approved to BS1362 and with a rated current of 5 amps should be used. If there is a fuse cover fitted, this cover must be refitted after changing the fuse. If the fuse cover is lost or damaged, the plug must not be used. You must also check if the socket outlets in your home fit with the plug of the appliance. If the socket outlet in your home does not fit with the plug, the plug must be removed and disposed of safely as insertion of the plug into the socket is likely to cause electric hazard.
As this product is a class II appliance, the pin of BS plug for earth connection is false.
