Frequently Asked Questions - WD361 Avanti

How do I install the water bottle?
Remove the top cover, place the 5-gallon bottle upside down into the designated slot, and press down gently until it locks. Ensure the bottle is properly seated before closing the cover.
How often should I clean the dispenser?
It is recommended to clean the exterior with a damp cloth weekly. Descale the internal reservoir every 3 months using a white vinegar solution (1 part vinegar to 3 parts water).
Why is the hot water not heating?
Check that the power cord is plugged in and the hot water switch is turned on. If the problem persists, the heating element may need replacement. Contact Avanti support.
How do I change the water filter?
Turn off the dispenser and unplug it. Remove the old filter by twisting it counterclockwise. Insert the new filter and twist clockwise until tight. Run 2 cups of water through the dispenser before use.
What should I do if the dispenser is leaking?
Check the bottle for cracks, ensure the bottle is properly seated, and inspect the drip tray for overflow. Tighten any loose connections. If leaking continues, turn off the dispenser and contact support.
Can I use the dispenser without a water bottle?
No, the dispenser is designed to work with a standard 5-gallon water bottle or direct water line connection (if applicable). Do not operate without water to avoid damage.
How do I activate the child safety lock?
Press and hold the child lock button for 3 seconds until the indicator light turns on. To unlock, press and hold again. The lock prevents accidental hot water dispensing.
What is the temperature of the hot water?
The hot water is heated to approximately 185°F (85°C). Use caution when dispensing to avoid burns.
How do I drain the water for storage?
Unplug the dispenser, remove the bottle, and press the hot and cold taps to drain the remaining water. Let the unit air dry completely before storing.
Where can I find replacement parts?
Replacement bottles, filters, and parts are available through Avanti's official website or authorized retailers. Check the model number WD361 for compatibility.

Charging the ScanPal 5100

ScanPal 5100 terminals ship with the main battery and the backup battery significantly discharged of power. Charge the main battery pack with an ScanPal 5100 charging device for a minimum of 4 hours before initial use.

If you remove the battery or it is completely discharged, a fully charged backup battery will provide approximately 0.5 hours of work in suspend mode, during which you can change or charge the main battery pack.

If the backup battery discharges completely, some data will be lost.

Aiming Beam

The aiming beam is narrower when you hold the terminal closer to a bar code and the aiming beam is wider when you hold it farther from the bar code.

The aiming beam must be aimed closer to symbologies that have smaller bars or elements (mil size). The aiming beam must be aimed farther from symbologies that have larger bars or elements (mil size).
