How do I set up the water filter for first use?

Remove the filter cartridge from packaging, wash it with tap water, and immerse it in cold water for about twenty minutes. Insert the cartridge into the filtering tank and push downwards. Insert the filtering tank into the jug body, set the date on the cartridge exchange indicator, and press the lid onto the jug until secure. Place the jug on a flat dry surface, fill the filtering tank with cold water, and discard the first two fillings or use for plants.

How often should I change the filter cartridge?

The cartridge exchange indicator (2) on the lid shows when to replace the cartridge. Set the date based on the number of persons per household. Typically, the cartridge should be replaced every 30-60 days depending on usage and water quality. The indicator will show replacement time.

Can I use the water filter with hot water?

No, the water filter jug is designed for cold water only. Using hot water may damage the cartridge and jug.

How do I clean the jug?

Wipe the jug with water and washing-up liquid. Do not use abrasive cloths or sponges that can scratch the plastic. Do not clean any parts in the dishwasher.

What should I do if water remains in the jug for a few days?

Water remaining in the jug for a few days is not suitable for consumption. Empty the jug and wash it before refilling with fresh filtered water.

Can I store the filter cartridge when not in use?

Yes, if the cartridge will not be used for a prolonged period, wrap it in a plastic bag and store it in the fridge. To reuse, follow the same preparation steps as for a new filter.

Is the jug dishwasher safe?

No, elements of the jar cannot be cleaned in dishwashers. Only hand wash with mild detergent.

What is the capacity of the jug?

The jug body has a total capacity of 2.5 liters. The filtering tank holds about 1 liter per cycle.

How do I set the cartridge exchange indicator?

On the underside of the lid (3), there is a mechanical indicator. Rotate the dial to set the date according to the number of people in your household. For example, if you set 1 JAN, the indicator will show replacement time in months.

What does the warranty cover and not cover?

The producer provides a 2-year warranty for the jug. It does not cover the filter cartridge, mechanical failures, thermal damages, or damage from incorrect use. The device is designed for household use only; warranty is void if used professionally.

HOW TO USE THE APPLIANCE

Water filter jug is for filtering cold water.

It is possible to filter 1 liter of water in the jug. Before first usage, one should wash the jug ("CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE").

MONTAGE

• remove the filter cartridge (6) from the packaging, wash it with tap water, and immerse the cartridge in cold water for about twenty minutes
• insert the filter cartridge (6) into the filtering tank (5) and push downwards
• insert the filtering tank (5) into the body of the jug (7)
• set the date on the cartridge exchange indicator (2)

• press the lid (3) onto the jug until it is in place. The lid is fitted with tabs that secure it to prevent falling during the pouring of water. One should remember to handle the lid with care.

FILTER CARTRIDGE

Water filter jug is adapted to use with filter cartridge EF100 which is also available as a set EF10 Filter jug is equipped with the cartridge exchange indicator (2) placed in the lid (3). It prompts you when you need to change the cartridge.

On the underside of the lid (3), there is a mechanical indicator where you can set the date of cartridge exchange according to the number of persons per household (photo 1). The cartridge exchange indicator (2) will show the replace time of the cartridge.
