-
Place the drain hose in position with the elbow.
-
Mount the manifold approx. 80 - 100 cm above the floor.
-
Ensure that the hose cannot fall on the floor and that the escaping water drains off safely.
Prevent water leakage
Both union nuts are provided with a seal each. Tighten the union nut well with the seal.
Water drain
Secure the water drainage hose with a lifting rope (not included in the scope of delivery) if this is e.g. directed into a washbasin.
If the Washing machine is connected to a built-in pump-out system, check that the latter is equipped with a vent hole to avoid simultaneous water inflow and pump-out (siphon effect).
12.1 Electrical connection
Have all electrical connections made by a specialist and in compliance with the manufacturer's instructions and local safety regulations.
- For information on voltage, power consumption and fuse protection, see technical data.
- Connection may only be made via a properly installed and earthed protective contact socket.
- Earthing is required by law.
- The manufacturer declines all responsibility for any damage to persons, pets or property resulting from failure to comply with the above instructions.
- Do not use multiple socket strips or power extension cables.
- Access to the mains plug must be guaranteed at all times after installation or it must be possible to achieve mains disconnection via a two-pole switch.
- Do not operate the appliance if it has been damaged during transport. In this case, notify the customer service.
- Have the mains cable replaced only by the customer service.
- Use the appliance only in the household and for the specified purpose.
- Switch on the unit by inserting the mains plug into the socket.
12.2 First wash
To remove the factory dirt and grease residues from the drum, start a wash cycle with a little detergent, without textiles. Prepare laundry
- Close zips, press studs and hooks so that they do not get caught in other textiles.
- Remove needles, buckles and other hard objects so that they do not scratch the interior of the washing machine.
- Empty your pockets. Roll down cuffs and turn synthetic fabrics inside out to avoid linting.
- Tie down ribbons and sashes so they don't get tangled.
• Pre-treat stains. - Separate heavily soiled textiles from lightly soiled ones.
- Separate dark and light colours as well as colour-fast and non-colour-fast textiles.
12.3 Load washing drum
- Place laundry loosely in the washing machine so that the textiles are cleaned optimally and remain crease-free.
- Load the appliance correctly and select the appropriate setting for the amount of laundry.
• Overloading and a setting for the laundry quantity that is too low can:
• reduce the washing result, promote creasing,
• produce an excessive amount of lint. - Mix large and small textiles in each load. Distribute everything evenly to maintain balance in the appliance. An uneven load may cause the appliance to vibrate when spinning.
- For a load with only a few small textiles, a shorter washing time is sufficient.
- Never put laundry in the machine that has been sprayed with petrol. Filler compartments for detergent
Use the three compartments as follows:
- Detergent for main wash cycle
- Detergent for prewash
- Fabric softener

Putting into operation
It is important to use the right amount of detergent depending on the type of laundry. This depends on the following factors:
Water Hardness
Depending on the PH value in your region, you may need more or less detergent. Ask at the waterworks.
Pollution level
More detergent is needed for heavily soiled laundry.
Laundry quantity
The smaller the amount of washing, the smaller the amount of detergent should be.

- Do not use detergents that contain chlorine and sulphur.
- Follow the dosage recommendation on the detergent pack.
- Overdosing leads to extreme foaming and causes the colours of your laundry to fade over time.
- Add liquid softener to the softener compartment.
- Do not exceed the maximum level line. Overfilling can cause stains to appear on the garments.
- Do not open the detergent compartment while water is running in.

13.5 Tips for staintreatment
• Stained, heavily soiled or oily textiles may need to be pre-treated or soaked.
• Soaking helps remove protein-based stains such as blood, milk or grass.
• Pre-treatment helps to loosen soiling before washing.
- Use warm water to soak or pre-treat textiles with stains. Hot water can fix stains.
- Most stains are easier to remove when they are still fresh.
- Before stain treatment, clarify what kind of stain it is, how old the stain is, what kind of fabric it is and whether this fabric is colourfast. (Check the care label)
- Washing and drying can fix certain stains.
- Start with cold or warm water.
- If it is recommended to use bleach, it is important to choose one that will not affect the fabric.
- Place the affected area with the stain facing downwards on a paper towel or white cloth.
- Apply stain remover to the stain from behind. In this way, the stain is pressed out of the fabric instead of through it.
Below you will find the most common measures to treat stains. After the treatment wash at the maximum temperature allowed for the fabric.
| Blood | Rinse immediately with COLD water or soak with bile soap. |
| Chewing gum | Let the chewing gum harden with ice in a plastic bag. Scrape off as much as possible and dab with benzine. |
| Cocoa, chocolate | Dab with COLD water or soak with bile soap. If the stain remains stubborn, rub in some detergent and rinse in cold water. |
| Coffee | Wipe quickly and rinse in COLD water. If the stain remains stubborn, rub in some detergent. |
| Cream/Milk | Wipe quickly and rinse in COLD water. If the stain remains stubborn, rub in some detergent. |
| Ice cream | Dab with benzine. |
| Deodorant | Rub with vinegar and then rinse in COLD water. |
| egg | Soak with COLD bile soap, rinse. |
| Fabric softener | Rub with a bar of soap. |
| Fruit stains | Treat immediately with COLD water. If the stain remains stubborn, rub in some detergent. |
| Grass | Dab with benzine. Rub with bile soap. |
| Grease and oil | Place the affected area with the stain facing downwards on an absorbent cloth and treat from the reverse side. Dab with benzine or dry cleaning agent. |
| Iron or rust | Apply lemon juice and salt and place in the sun. |
| Lipstick | Dab with methylated spirits or wash with WARM water with detergent. Moisten the spot with lemon juice, let it dry in the sun. If the stain remains stubborn and the fabric allows it, use bleach. |
| Mud | Brush off dried mud. Rinse in COLD water. If the stain remains stubborn, rub in some detergent. |
| Oil paints | Scrape off fresh paint, dab with a non-flammable dry cleaning agent. |
| Watercolours | Treat garment while still damp and rinse in WARM water. |
| Burn marks | Dampen cloth with hydrogen peroxide, place on affected area and iron hot over it. |
