How do I set up the SWS TH5800 sensor?

Insert 2 AA batteries into the sensor observing polarity. Use the CHANNEL slide switch to select channel 1, 2, or 3 before inserting batteries. The sensor will automatically transmit temperature and humidity to the main unit.

What is the maximum transmission range of the sensor?

The transmission range is up to 100 meters in open area without obstacles like buildings or trees. In real conditions, the range may be reduced to about 70 meters.

How do I select a different channel for the sensor?

Use the CHANNEL slide switch located above the battery compartment to select channel 1, 2, or 3. Ensure each sensor is set to a different channel if using multiple sensors.

What type of batteries does the sensor require?

The sensor requires 2 x AA 1.5V batteries (alkaline recommended). Batteries are not included.

What is the temperature measurement range of the sensor?

The sensor measures temperatures from -20 °C to +50 °C. Outside this range, the sensor may not work properly.

What should I do if the sensor stops transmitting?

Check the batteries and replace if the low battery icon appears on the main unit. Ensure the sensor is within range and not blocked by obstacles. Press the RESET button on the sensor if needed.

How should I mount the sensor?

Use the wall mount hole on the back to securely mount the sensor on a horizontal surface. Avoid placing it near metal frames or interference sources like computers or TVs.

Can the sensor be used outdoors in rain?

The sensor is not waterproof. Do not expose it to direct sunlight or rain. Install it in a sheltered location protected from the elements.

How do I clean the sensor?

Clean the sensor with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive or corrosive cleaners, as they may scratch plastic parts or damage electronics.

What is the warranty period for the SWS TH5800?

GETTING STARTED

● Batteries compartment (8) of sensor is locating behind the back cover.
- Insert 2 x AA batteries observing polarity [ “+” and “−” marks]
- The sensors will automatically transmit temperature and humidity signal to the main unit after batteries inserted, slide switch to select the Channel 1, 2, 3 to ensure each sensor is transmitting different channel's signal before inserting batteries. The channel select switch (7) is above the battery compartment of sensor.

● The remote sensor should be securely mounted onto a horizontal surface.
Transmissions between receiver and transmitter can reach up to 70m in open area. Open area means there are no interfering obstacles such as buildings, trees, vehicles, high voltage lines, etc.
- Once the low battery icon appears at receiver, indicating that outdoor sensor is in low battery status, the batteries should be replaced.
- The sensor's temperature measurable range is -20^ 50^ . When temperature is lower than -20^ , or higher than +50^ , the sensor might not work properly.
- Sensor's humidity measurable range is 0% \~ 99%.

PRECAUTIONS

• Avoid placing the unit near interference sources/metal frames such as computer or TV sets.
  ● The outdoor sensor must not be set up and installed under water. Set it up in away direct sunlight and Rain
• Never clean the device using abrasive or corrosive materials or products. Abrasive cleaning agents may scratch plastic parts and corrode electronic circuits

EN Warranty conditions

Warranty card is not a part of the device packaging.

This product is warranted for the period of 24 months from the date of purchase to the end-user. Warranty is limited to the following conditions. Warranty is referred only to the customer goods using for common domestic use. The claim for service can be applied either at dealer's shop where the product was bought, or at below mentioned authorized service shops. The end-user is obligated to set up a claim immediately when the defects appeared but only till the end of warranty period. The end user is obligated to cooperate to certify the claiming defects. Only completed and clean (according to hygienic standards) product will be accepted. In case of eligible warranty claim the warranty period will be prolonged by the period from the date of claim application till the date of taking over the product by end-user, or the date the end-user is obligated to take it over. To obtain the service under this warranty, end-user is obligated to certify his claim with duly completed following documents: receipt, certificate of warranty, certificate of installation.

This warranty is void especially if apply as follows:

■ Defects which were put on sale.
■ Wear-out or damage caused by common use.
The product was damaged by unprofessional or wrong installation, used in contrary to the applicable instruction manual, used in contrary to legal enactment and common process of use or used for another purpose which has been designed for.
The product was damaged by uncared-for or insufficient maintenance.
