Frequently Asked Questions - DH8544CSFRX BEKO

How do I install the Beko DH8544CSFRX tumble dryer?
Place the dryer on a solid, level floor. Leave at least 2.5 cm of clearance on all sides for ventilation. Connect the drain hose to a sink or floor drain, or use the water tank. Plug into a grounded outlet.
How often should I clean the lint filter?
Clean the lint filter after every drying cycle to maintain efficiency and prevent fire hazards. Use a damp cloth to remove lint, then dry thoroughly before replacing.
What does the 'Condenser Cleaning' warning mean?
This indicator alerts you to clean the condenser unit. Remove the condenser cover, rinse the condenser with water, and dry it before reinserting. This improves drying performance.
Can I install the dryer on top of a washing machine?
Yes, you can use a stacking kit (sold separately) to mount the dryer on top of a compatible Beko washing machine. Ensure the surface is flat and secure.
Why is the drying cycle taking too long?
Possible causes: overloaded drum, clogged lint filter or condenser, low room temperature, or selected program with low heat. Reduce load size and clean filters.
How do I empty the water tank?
Pull out the water tank located behind the door. Empty it into a sink. The tank holds about 4.5 L. Reinsert firmly until it clicks.
What does the child lock feature do?
The child lock prevents accidental button presses during operation. To activate, press and hold the Child Lock button (key symbol) for 3 seconds. Repeat to deactivate.
How do I use the 'Steam Refresh' program?
Select the Steam Refresh program for clothes that are not dirty but need freshening. Do not overload; place dry garments loosely. The program uses steam to reduce wrinkles and odors.
What is the 'Drum Clean' function?
Run the Drum Clean program every 30 cycles to remove detergent residue and bacteria. Use a damp cloth to wipe the drum after the cycle. This maintains hygiene.
How do I reset the dryer if it stops mid-cycle?
Turn the program dial to 'Off' and wait 1 minute. Check for error codes on the display (e.g., E01, E02). Consult the manual for troubleshooting. Restart the desired program.
