How do I fold the Aspen stroller?

First, empty the storage basket. Fold the seat, then slide the slider and press the folding button. Push the handle downwards until the frame folds, and secure it with the fixing. Refer to figures 14-1 to 14-4 in the manual.

Can I use a car seat with this stroller?

Yes, the Chipolino Aspen Car Seat (Group 0+, 0-13 kg) is compatible using adaptors. Install the car seat in face-to-face mode only. Follow step 17 of the manual for installation and removal.

How do I adjust the safety harness?

Insert both belt ends into the central buckle until you hear a click. Adjust the length using the plastic adjuster buckles. Ensure the harness fits snugly and is not twisted. Regularly check for wear.

How do I convert the seat into a carry cot?

Unfasten the belts underneath the seat (step 16-1). The carry cot must always be in parent-facing mode. Unlock shoulder and waist harnesses, adjust, and cover with a mattress no thicker than 10 mm.

How do I change the seat direction?

Press the seat removal buttons on both sides of the frame and lift the seat. Rotate it 180 degrees and reinsert until you hear a click. The seat can face the parent or forward.

How do I lock the front wheels straight?

Press the lever downwards to activate straight direction for uneven terrain. Pull upwards to allow swiveling. Refer to figure 7 in the manual.

What is the maximum weight for the storage basket?

The maximum load for the storage basket is 2 kg. Overloading may cause instability.

How do I clean the stroller?

Use a damp cotton cloth or sponge with mild soap. Do not use abrasive or bleach. After cleaning, let the stroller dry fully before use or storage to prevent mold.

What should I do if the stroller is damaged?

Use the stroller for a child weighing not more than 22 kg.
- Initial assembly, folding and unfolding to be done only by adult!
Do not put in carry cot additional mattress, thicker than 10 mm!
Always engage the parking devices when the stroller has stopped and is not moving, especially when you place or take out your child from it!
Make sure the safety belts are fastened and fit well to the child before usage.
- The maximum load for the storage basket is 2 kg.
The maximum load for the accessories bag (in case there is one) is 2 kg.
Do not overload the stroller! Always balance your stroller in a way to keep it stable and prevent the risk of tip-over!
This stroller is intended for use for one child at a time!
Do not use any spare parts or other components, which are not approved by the producer! The producer does not take any responsibility for the safety of the child when you have not used the proper and original spare parts, approved and provided by him!
Do not apply any changes or modifications to the stroller's construction! Contact the dealer or an authorized repair service for advice and/or repair instead!
Discontinue the usage, if you find worn out or loose joints, damaged or missing parts! There is a risk of injury of the child!
Do not allow children younger than 3 years near the stroller during the assembly or disassembly, in order to prevent the risk of injury or swallowing of small parts!
- Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place additional strings to the product to avoid injuries!

✿ Never use the stroller on stairs or escalators! Use extra care when going up or down a pavement or step!
The packaging of the product must be kept out of the reach of children to avoid the risk of strangulation!

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTION AND FUNCTIONS

This stroller is supplied partially assembled. In order to complete the assembly, you don't need any tools.

ATTENTION! Follow exactly the instructions given and check the pictures.

ATTENTION! After each operation, make sure that you have followed the instructions correctly and the fixing is stable.

ATTENTION! Properly fixing is often accompanied with click sound.

Assembly and functions are given in figures 1-17. Use all descriptions below together with figures with the same number.

ASSEMBLY

1 - OPEN THE FRAME

1-1 – Release the fixing.

1-2 – Grab the handle and pull upwards until stroller opens and you hear a click sound.

2 - INSERT AND REMOVE OF FRONT WHEELS

2-1 – Insert the axis of front wheel into the hub at frame and press. You must hear a click. Make sure that wheel is securely fixed to frame, as trying to pull it out.

2-2 - To remove the front wheel, press the button for removal and pull the wheel downwards.

3 - INSERT AND REMOVE OF REAR WHEELS

3-1 – Insert the axis of rear wheel into the hub at frame and press. When wheel fixes you will hear a click sound. Make sure that wheel is securely fixed to frame, as trying to pull it out.

3-2 - To remove the rear wheel, pull the lever downwards and take the wheel out of the frame.

4 - INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL OF SEAT

Place the seat to the frame and press. When seat fixes you will hear a click sound.

ATTENTION! Make sure that seat is securely fixed to frame, as trying to pull it out.

Seat removal: To remove the seat, press the buttons simultaneously at both sides of the seat and remove the seat from the frame (for removal button see MAIN PARTS DIAGRAM).

5 - INSERT AND REMOVE OF FRONT BUMPER BAR

Place the bumper to the slots of the frame and press. When bumper fixes you will hear a click sound.

Make sure that bumper is securely fixed to frame, as trying to pull it out.

To remove the bumper, press the buttons at both sides of the bumper and pull it from the frame.

FUNCTIONS

6 – SEAT FOLDING AND UNFOLDING

6-1 – Grab the seat with your hand and unfold it You must hear a click sound by fixing.

6-2 - Press simultaneously the buttons at both sides of seat frame and fold the seat.

7 - SWIVELING AND STRAIGHT DIRECTION OF FRONT WHEELS

Press the lever downwards to activate the straight direction of front wheels.

Pull the lever upwards to activate the swiveling of front wheels.

ATTENTION! When using the stroller on uneven terrains, set the front wheels in straight direction only.

8 – PARKING DEVICE

To activate the parking device press the lever downwards.

ATTENTION! Apply the parking devices always when stroller is not in motion to avoid risk of stroller sliding.

9 - SEAT ADJUSTMENT

Seat can be adjusted in 3 positions.

Press simultaneously the buttons for seat adjustment at both sides of frame and set the seat in required position. By fixing you must hear a click sound.

10 - BACKREST ADJUSTMENT

Press the mechanism for backrest adjustment and move it up or down until you position.

11 - CANOPY ADJUSTMENT

Folding: Push the canopy with your hand to close it.

Unfolding: Pull the canopy with your hand to open it.

ATTENTION! Always attach the canopy to the seat to avoid sliding of child and injuries!

12 - SEAT DIRECTION - 2 POSITIONS

Seat can be installed on frame of stroller in 2 positions – child is facing the motion of stroller and child is facing the parent, who pushes the stroller (position that is opposite to the direction of motion).

12-1 – Press simultaneously the buttons for seat removal at both sides of frame and pull it up.

12-2 – Rotate the seat at 180 degrees to change the seat direction, place it again back to the frame and press until you hear a click sound.

13 - RESTRAINT SYSTEM (5-POINT SAFETY HARNESSES)

Inert both endings of belt into the central buckle and press. You must hear a click sound. Adjust the length of belts via the plastic adjuster buckles.

Note: The harness must fit well the baby and must not be twisted.

IMPORTANT! Regularly check if safety harnesses are foestroller and well fastened! Safety harnesses must not be worn out or torn and buckles must be strong, without any damages and provide secure connection.

14 – FOLDING OF STROLLER

CAUTION! Always before folding the stroller you must empty the storage basket.

14-1 – Fold the seat.

14-2 - Move the slider in shown direction and press the folding button.

14-3 - Press the handle downwards until frame folds.

14-4 - Fix the frame in folded position with the fixing.

15 - COVERT FROM COT TO SEAT

To transform the cot into seat fasten the belts underneath the cot as fig15-1s and 15-2 show.

16 - COVERT FROM SEAT TO COT

16-1 - To transform the seat into cot unfasten the belts underneath the seat.

ATTENTION! WHEN THE SEAT IS CONVERTED INTO CARRY COT, IT MUST ALWAYS BE IN A FACE TO FACE MODE.

ATTENTION! When the seat is converted into cot, always unlock shoulder and waist harnesses from the stroller, adjust and cover them with mattress that is not thicker than 10 mm.

17 - INSTALLATION OF CAR SEAT "ASPEN" ON FRAME OF STROLLER "ASPEN"

Note: For your comfort before installation of car seat on stroller's frame activate the parking device.

Installation

On the frame of this stroller, you can install car seat "ASPEN" through the adaptors.

Insert the adaptors into the car seat by pressing the corresponding red button at upper part of car seat and place:

- Adaptor with R marking must be installed on the right side of car seat (standing in front of the car seat)

- Adaptor with L marking must be installed on the left side of car seat (standing in front of the car seat). Place the car seat with adaptors to the frame of stroller and press until it fixes. By fixing must hear a click sound.

ATTENTION! ALWAYS INSTALL THE CAR SEAT IN FACE TO FACE MODE.

Removal:

Press the buttons for removal and remove the car seat from the frame.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

The brakes and wheels wear out faster than other parts. Replace them when necessary.
◆ Regularly oil the moving parts. Use silicone oil or silicone spray for oiling.
✿ Dirt could make difficult the function of your stroller. Clean and oil all dirty metal and plastic parts regularly.
- Clean the fabrics, plastic parts and metal parts with damp cotton cloth or sponge and mild soap.
Do not use abrasive, bleach or other aggressive detergents.
Always after cleaning leave the stroller fully dry and after that use it or store it. It may appear mold to your stroller if you keep it moist.
Always store your stroller indoors. The effect of the environment – sea air, road covered with salt, acid rains, etc., as well as storing in the open air lead to corrosion.
